Again?
Oppa, I Don't Remember! After I came home, my phone suddenly started to ring. I wondered who it could be, my own phone broke during the car crash so I had to buy a new one, the only one who has my phone number was...
I jumped up and rushed to my phone.
Wait a minute, where did I put it?
I searched trough the whole living room but suddenly remembered it was still in my handbag. I ran as fast as I could but the moment I reached out, the phone stopped ringing.
I stared at the phone in my hand. Almost trying to force it to ring again. That's why I had no excuse to be so surprised when it actually started ringing again. I immediately answered it.
"Hello?" a familiar voice on the other side asked.
"Hi," I answered while still catching by breath.
At first, Aron didn't say anything, but then he asked, "Why are you out of breath?"
"No reason," I answered
That made him laugh. "How can you be out of breath for no reason?"
I felt stupid but also relieved because he couldn't see me blush, "Why are you calling?" I asked, to distract him from his question.
"Oh, ehm," he stuttered, "you know, ... I just wanted to know if you arrived safely and..." then he suddenly stopped.
"And?" I encouraged him.
"Well, you see, I just, ..." he stopped again.
I waited.
"... wanted to hear your voice." he whispered so soft that I thought I had heard wrong.
"Sorry, I didn't understand, what did you say?" I asked him.
"Nothing." he answered.
I suddenly didn't feel so well and wanted to hang up, "Hey Aron, I'm sorry but I ..."
I couldn't tell him. Before I was able to finish my sentence, I fainted.
"Tag, your it!" my sister said as she tagged me and ran away.
"Wait a minute, that's not fair! I wasn't ready yet!" I complained.
"It's not MY fault YOU weren't ready." my sister answered.
"You cheater!" I said as I pushed her on the ground.
She started crying, "Mom!" she said while running to the house.
"It's your own fault," I mumbled while running away.
I knew I'd get punished anyway so I'd better outrun it as long as possible.
On my way I saw a little boy sitting on the ground.
"Are you alone?" I asked.
The boy nodded.
"I see." Satisfied I took his hand and pulled him along.
"Did you do something wrong?" I asked.
He nodded, "I ate a cookie but my mom told me not to." He looked at me, "Do you hate me now?"
"No way!" I answered, "I've done that so many times."
The boy smiled at me.
"What's your name?" I asked him.
"A-"
I woke up.
"Niina, Niina, can you hear me? Answer me!!" I heard Aron panic.
"Aron?" I whispered.
"Niina? What happened?" he asked.
"I don't know, I think I remembered something."
Author's Note
