Kyuhyun woke up with a terrible headache. He scrunched his eyes hard as he got up from the bed. He walked towards the kitchen after he washed his face and brushed his teeth. He took two paracetamols to ease his headache. He stared at the kitchen table. Empty.

Didn’t Nahee cook? He thought. He went to the other side of the house to check her. She was not there. He went back to the kitchen and went out of the kitchen door which leads to their backyard. He saw her taking their hung clothes. He smiled and approached her.

“Honey.” He called.                                               

Nahee flinched away when she felt him behind her. She looked at him stonily. Kyuhyun was puzzled by the look she gave him.

“What’s wrong?” He inquired.

Nahee scoffed and rolled her eyes. She put the clothes in the basket and carried them inside the house. Kyuhyun followed her.

“Hey” He called her.

She didn’t reply. Kyuhyun got agitated because she is not responding. He walked towards her and held her arms gently.

“I’ve been very patient with you, Nahee.” He said with a soft firm voice.

She looked at him with a fake concerned expression.

“Oh, I’m sorry, honey. I have been such a burden to you.” She said with a false pout.

“Nahee.” He whispered with anger in his voice.

“What?! Why are you treating me like this? It’s not my fault that I can’t get pregnant! You should have had me in a medical check-up first before you married me! In that case, you could have known that I can’t give you children!!!” She screamed at his face.

“What are you talking about?” Kyuhyun got furious. “I talked about you regarding that matter. Didn’t I say that it’s already fine with me???”

“Yes! I thought it was fine with you! But…but...” Nahee broke into tears as she couldn’t help it anymore.

“I HATE YOU, CHO KYUHYUN!!!” She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Kyuhyun was so perplexed with her actions. What is happening to her? She doesn’t get wild like this before. She didn’t even cry this hard when she learned about her state.

She fell on the floor, sobbing hard.

“I know you wanted a child so bad. I do, too. But why do you have to let me feel that a baby is more important than I am?” She cried as she held her aching chest.

Kyuhyun knelt down on her level and held her shoulders.

“Nahee. You know I love you. You’re more important to me than anything or anybody else.” He told her.
