Yoochun questioned it, the first day this adorable, young boy ran down the hall of the SM Entertainment Building, bowing to him and flashing a rather pretty smile. The boy's eyes were shining brightly, the look of admiration and happiness. Yoochun couldn't say it was a look he was unfamiliar with. That thought soon disappeared though. Yoochun had never seen this boy before, was he one of the new trainees? He simply nodded to himself, Yoochun wasn't at the company often due to his schedule so he hardly ever knew who came at who left. 

"May I... have your autograph please?" The boy asked in a timid voice, Yoochun gave a gentle smile. Yoochun took the piece of paper and pen from the other's hands, he felt some sense of pride.

"Sure, what's your name?" Yoochun asked the younger, the other looked down.

"Um, my name is Cho Kyuhyun. I'm a fan." The boy now introduced as Kyuhyun spoke. Yoochun raised a brow.

"Are you one of the new trainees?" Yoochun asked, and with that question, he saw the bright light in Kyuhyun's eyes begin to grow dim. But Yoochun didn't pay attention to it.

"...I'm actually the new member of Super Junior." Kyuhyun spoke, Yoochun's eyes widened. So, there was now another Super Junior member.

"Really?" Yoochun asked with shock, Kyuhyun bit his lower lip.

"Yes. I... I wasn't expecting it. I was only at the company for a couple months before they decided to add me as a new member." Kyuhyun explained, Yoochun nodded along to his words.

"I see. Are the Super Junior members treating you well?" Yoochun questioned. And with that, it all started once again. Kyuhyun's eyes darkened, and immediately they headed towards the ground. This is when Yoochun finally began to grow curious.

"...Um... yeah. I guess." Kyuhyun said, Yoochun stared with slight worry.

"..." It was fairly obvious from the way Kyuhyun was acting, something was wrong. Yoochun seemed frozen in some sort of trance, Kyuhyun looked up and raised a brow at the other.

"Hyung? Is something wrong?" Kyuhyun asked, Yoochun quickly shook his head.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking. Here you go." Yoochun finally spoke, passing his autograph to the younger who gave a satisfied grin.

"Thank you." Kyuhyun bowed politely.

"So, what role do you have in Super Junior?" Yoochun asked, Kyuhyun's eyes shot up as he thought for a second.

"Um... I'm the maknae." Kyuhyun replied in a somewhat questioning tone of voice. Yoochun stared, eyes widening slightly.

"Really?" Yoochun asked, Kyuhyun pouted.

"...Do I look that old?" Kyuhyun questioned, Yoochun couldn't help but chuckle at the other's expression.

"No, sorry. Are you just the maknae?" Yoochun then asked, implying whether he was placed in Super Junior due to his dancing, singing or visuals. Kyuhyun bit his lip slightly.

"Well, I'm also the main vocalist along with Ryeowook and Jongwoon hyung." Kyuhyun quickly stated, Yoochun raised a brow at his statement.

"You're good a singing?" Yoochun asked, Kyuhyun gave a little smirk.

"Apparently." Kyuhyun spoke. Yoochun was amused by the reaction he received.

"I would love to hear you voice. Can I hear you sing something?" Yoochun said, Kyuhyun giggled.

"Only if you come to one of Super Junior's performances." Kyuhyun grinned, Yoochun couldn't help but smile back. Although he, Yoochun, was already planning to go and watch Super Junior's next live performance, Kyuhyun's invitation simply increased how willing he was.

"You sang really well." Yoochun complimented, backstage of one of Super Junior's performances. Kyuhyun stared at him, quickly giving a sweet smile. Yoochun was almost certain that nothing was as pretty as the way Kyuhyun looked that day, how he jumped out happily with that unbeatable grin on his lips. Kyuhyun then bowed, but only about half of the depth he had bowed yesterday. Yoochun noticed, but didn't say anything. It was such a happy occasion, it didn't seem right to scold Kyuhyun about it, especially when he was as energetic as he was at that moment. Kyuhyun probably just forgot about as his mind was clouded.

"Thanks." Kyuhyun said with his usual smile. Yoochun smiled back, Kyuhyun seemed like he was glowing.

"Kyuhyun-ah, come over here." Leeteuk suddenly spoke, Kyuhyun quickly responded to the call and walked to the leader after bowing to Yoochun once again.

"Hm, what is it?" Kyuhyun asked with a somewhat twisted expression, slightly annoyed that he had been disturbed. Yoochun stared, eyes flowing the younger and he walked off. So lost in thought, so lost with Kyuhyun, Yoochun didn't even realise the other DBSK members creeping up behind him.

"...Yoochun..." Jaejoong muttered, waving a hand in front of Yoochun's face. Yoochun's eyes quickly widened, turning to the four standing next to him.

"Y-Yeah?" Yoochun stuttered, staring at them. Changmin, Yunho, Jaejoong and Junsu were there.

"..." A silence was there as the four widened their eyes.

"Oh my god, you like him don't you?" Junsu asked, Yoochun shook his head instantly.

"What? I don't, seriously, I don't. Kyuhyun's just a dongsaeng." Yoochun denied, the others knew better though.

"A cute dongsaeng." Yunho added, Yoochun wasn't going to deny it. That was definitely true. Kyuhyun was cute, always bubbly and grinning at him. There was no way to say it wasn't true.

"An adorable dongsaeng." Jaejoong added quickly after the other.

"A dongsaeng who happens to really like you." Junsu then said, Changmin bit his lip.

"My best friend." Changmin quickly stepped in, seeming to bring down the former encouragement Yoochun had gained from the other members. Honestly, since none of the DBSK members really knew Kyuhyun, they were a little shocked that he had already taken the role of Changmin's best friend. And that was difficult, not many people knew how to grow close to their maknae.

"..." All eyes were on Changmin, the sharp stare burning a line straight towards Yoochun. The all waited for Changmin to speak, knowing their maknae well. Changmin was known to be protective over his friends, all of them. Changmin stared a little longer, finally sighing as he tapped Yoochun on the shoulder.

"He's really your fanboy. I'm not sure if Kyuhyun will return your affection, but you can certainly try." Changmin finally stated, Yoochun wasn't sure whether to be happy or sad. Jaejoong, Junsu and Yunho grinned.

"Okay, you got Changmin's permission." Junsu declared in a happy way, Yoochun simply shook his head.

"But I don't even like him in that way."  Yoochun stated once again. The rest simply shook their heads, they knew better than that.

"Yoochun..." Jaejoong muttered.

"I swear I don't." Yoochun said, Changmin rolled his eyes.

"I'll see how long you last standing from the side." Changmin muttered, Yoochun didn't understand what the maknae meant by that at the time.

It didn't take long for Yoochun to realise that basically everyone had their eye on Kyuhyun. Seriously. He stared as the Super Junior maknae walked obliviously down the hall of the SM Entertainment building. Trainees would stare with their eyes wide, not wanting to take their attention away from the Super Junior maknae. Workers, many still in their early twenties, glanced shyly every now and again. Kyuhyun was basically the centre of attention, and everybody knew that.

If only Yoochun had found out earlier.

"Feeling jealous yet?" A voice asked quietly, Yoochun quickly turned around to see Changmin standing there. Yoochun pretended that he didn't hear what Changmin had said.

"..." Silence.

"Do you feel possessive?" Changmin then asked, Yoochun gave a questioning look and pretended everything was not as it actually was.

"Um... no?" Yoochun asked back, Changmin rolled his eyes.

"You should then." Changmin quickly stated, Yoochun raised a brow at those words. What on Earth was he talking about?

"Why?" Yoochun asked, Changmin smirked at the elder.

"Because I spy with my little eye, one of the workers making a move on Kyuhyun." Changmin muttered in a slightly mocking way, Yoochun's eyes widened.

"What?" Yoochun asked.

"Straight ahead." Changmin stated. There in front of the two, Yoochun saw Kyuhyun talking to one of the workers, their bodies just a little closer than he would have preferred.

Yoochun closed his eyes and shook his head, turning around and walking in the other direction. As he stated before, Yoochun didn't even like Kyuhyun in such a manner. At least, that's what Yoochun told himself. Changmin stared with amusement, smirking at his hyung. With a sigh, Yoochun looked back at Kyuhyun and bit his lip.

I'm not jealous, just protective.

Months and months passed as Yoochun became used to seeing many different men and women basically undress Kyuhyun with their eyes. It was alright, Yoochun told himself, as long as none of them actually touched Kyuhyun phyiscally. And again, Yoochun told himself that those thoughts weren't because he wasn't jealous, just protective. Everybody was protective of Kyuhyun, so why should he feel any different? Yoochun sighed, lying on the wall and staring out the window of the hall.

His emotions had been confusing him lately, everything were so strange. It was all just... Yoochun was simply there, waiting for Kyuhyun to finish up some schedule or job he had. There was no real reason for meeting, Yoochun just wanted to spend a little time with the maknae of Super Junior. He turned towards his left, eyes widening.

Yoochun stared. One of the workers, the very same one from before, was becoming very intimate with Kyuhyun. It seemed that Kyuhyun had finished his schedule and as he was walking down the hall, the worker in the building had begun talking to him. Someone had basically beat Yoochun to it. every opportunity the worker had, he would touch Kyuhyun in some way. Fingertips grazing Kyuhyun's body, limbs, face, something that wasn't meant to be done by anyone except... actually, nevermind. Yoochun sighed, why were these thoughts in his head? That blush which was on Kyuhyun's cheeks, the timid reaction he displayed, everything about the image he was seeing... Yoochun couldn't help but glare.

Okay, maybe I am jealous. Just a little.

"Yoochun hyung." Changmin said, inside the practice room. Yoochun turned his head.

"What is it?" Yoochun asked, Changmin gave a look of mockery as he sat down next to the other.

"A little bird told me that today, that worker from before... is going to ask Kyuhyun out today." Changmin muttered quietly, amused when he saw Yoochun freeze at those words.

"...Really?"

"And I hear that Kyuhyun is rather fond of him, what's going to happen?" Changmin asked, Yoochun felt slightly annoyed.

"...I have no idea, really. Who knows." Yoochun attempted to brush it off, but Changmin knew better than for that to happen though. The maknae had caught Yoochun in his own little web.

"But although Kyuhyun's really fond of that worker, I know for a fact that he's also rather fond of you." Changmin carried on.

"..." Yoochun stared, giving a wondrous look. What should he do?

"I know that you like him. Don't bother denying it, I know how you stare at him as he walks past. And I also know about those dreams you've been having lately..." Changmin trailed off, Yoochun turned a light pink.

"...I-"

"He's in the hallway." Changmin muttered, standing up and leaving the room. Yoochun sat there, pondering for a second. It was true, Yoochun did like Kyuhyun. Actually, no. As time passed, Yoochun knew that it was no longer 'like'.... it was now known as 'love'. And with that sudden acknowledgement, Yoochun quickly stood, rushing out the door and turning the corner. Where was Kyuhyun?

"Would you like to go out with me?" Yoochun heard someone ask, Yoochun ran a little faster, turning another corner. His eyes widened when he saw Kyuhyun and the worker standing beside each other.

"Huh?" Kyuhyun questioned innocently, not truly understanding.

"I've... I've really liked you for a while, would you like to go on a date with me?" The worker repeated, his words shy yet certain. Kyuhyun's eyes widened as he looked down.

"Um... I... I really can't, I'm sorry." Kyuhyun quickly apologised, a flash of anger went through the worker's eyes.

'Why not?" He asked, the anger which he attempted to control in his voice still present.

"Well.. there's already someone who I like. Someone who I really love." Kyuhyun explained, bowing once again.

"Who?" The worker asked, Kyuhuyn froze.

"...I can't tell you. Sorry. I just... I'm not ready to say who it is, and I don't want to date you." Kyuhyun stated, the sympathy the Super Junior maknae held in his voice clear as a bell.

"..." The worker went silent, Kyuhyun took a couple steps back.

"I hope we can stay close though." Kyuhyun then muttered, the worker glared as Kyuhyun turned away.

"...Wait." He spoke, taking a hold of Kyuhyun's wrist. The maknae widened his eyes, there was so much strength in the other's grip.

"Y-Yes?" Kyuhyun stuttered, the worker hissed.

"Why..." The worker mumbled, Kyuhyun shook his wrist.

"P-Please stop it, you're hurting me." Kyuhyun muttered, the grip of the worker becoming unbearable. The worker didn't seem to care all that much though.

"Aren't I good enough? Aren't I exactly what someone like you needs?" The worker asked, Kyuhyun groaned.

"I- Ow- Let go! Please!" Kyuhyun shouted, giving a clear look of pain. On instinct, Yoochun ran and disconnected their touch. Kyuhyun turned in relief and shock while the worker growled.

"I think that's enough. Kyuhyun has said no, please accept that." Yoochun spoke politely, Kyuhyun stared.

"What do you care? Don't get involved in situations which you aren't associated with." The worker stated, Yoochun felt annoyance build up.

"I am very much associated with this situation." Yoochun retorted, the other rolled his eyes.

"How?"

"...I'm the one who Kyuhyun really loves." Yoochun said.

"..." With those words, there was a silence. Kyuhyun's eyes were widened as he stared at the elder, the worker giving a look of shock. Yoochun felt his cheeks heat up.

"I'm the one he's currently involved in, so please, don't touch him." Yoochun spoke quietly, seeing an opportunity for him to escape and bringing Kyuhyun along with him. To ensure the idea, Yoochun hesitantly, placed an arm around Kyuhyun's shoulder, bringing the younger closer as the two walked off.

"..." Yoochun bit his lip, the nervousness entering. How could he have said such a thing? Yoochun quickly looked at Kyuhyun once they had gone far enough.

"...Kyuhyun, I-" Yoochun was cut off.

"How did you know?" Kyuhyun asked in surprise, Yoochun widened his eyes.

"...Know what?"

"How did you know that the person I love is you?" Kyuhyun asked once again. And with those word, Yoochun give a shocked look.

"I... what? I was right?" Was all Yoochun was able to mutter, and with that, Kyuhyun fell silent.

"..." The younger stared, slightly betrayed.

"I was just bluffing, I... You love me?" Yoochun asked, Kyuhyun bit his lower lip, mentally scolding himself. He had entered an odd situation.

"...Yeah, I do." Kyuhyun muttered, deciding not to lie to the man who he had loved, the man who he still did love.

"..." Yoochun stared.

"I guess it doesn't matter, forget I ever said anything. I mean, you probably don't love me and it'll probably become awkward between us-"

"That's not true." Yoochun quickly stated, Kyuhyun turned in surprise.

"...What do you mean?" Kyuhyun questioned hesitantly, Yoochun bit his lower lip.

"I... I... I love you. I really do, for a while now. But I pretended I didn't, since, you know, everybody is after you..." Yoochun whispered, Kyuhyun's eyes widened.

"Really?"

"Yeah." Yoochun muttered. They stared at each other, it just felt so right. Despite how it seemed so cliche everything seemed, Kyuhyun and Yoochun were rather satisfied. Everything was perfect. Now, if only, a kiss would have made it even better. Yoochun bit his lip, perhaps...

Suddenly, a clapping sound was heard. The two turned to see all the Super Junior and DBSK members there, applauding the touching scene. Instantly, Kyuhyun began to blush a pale pink. Yoochun's eyes widened. Was it that obvious? Did everyone really know? He stared at the crowd as they gave him a thumbs up. Yoochun sighed.

"Could you guys, um, leave until we're actually done?" Yoochun asked, knowing what the Super Junior and DBSK members were always going to be like that.

"Oh, sorry, we came in too early, didn't we?" Leeteuk asked, Yoochun nodded as Kyuhyun then hid his face using Yoochun's body. The elder couldn't help but smile.

"We'll be waiting outside." Jaejoong stated, Yoochun and Kyuhyun watched as they disappeared out the door.

Once they left, Kyuhyun and Yoochun stared at each other. The awkwardness of everything, Kyuhyun just realised how intimate he had become, hands clutching onto Yoochun's shirt. They stared and stared. Finally, a little smile cracked. Yoochun and Kyuhyun laughed with each other, everything seemed just so strange yet perfect. Yoochun smiled, closing his eyes for a second, as did Kyuhyun. And thus, their lips met.

And Yoochun had to admit, he had time to make up for.
