First Impressions: [7/10]
at first glance what i thought (sometimes unedited thoughts
and how my mind works when i first look)
the first thing i noticed when i see this poster is that
motion blur in between their faces.
it seems like you added that after blending them,
which is a shame cause i think it would look better without it.
to me, motion blur well tries to mimic motion.
so it would be like someone's head is flipping .
ok, other than that. its a nice poster.
it left me with a general postive impression of it.
Technique: [16/20]
how masterful are you at blending/cutting
blending seems good.
i like the blending between the guy and the flowers.
i like the blending at the bottom corner of the girl and the wheat/grass.
there are some spots that could be improved.
the space between the guy and the girl for instance like i mentioned above.
also at his neck, i can see some green from her seat. try to either
blend it out or make the color match by using curves / color balance.
another spot is most of the grass / wheat area. theres almost a whole line going across.
try to blend that out or at the end when your blending is finished, ctrl+alt+shift+e to stamp all visible,
lasso the area and apply a gaussian blur. check out this to get more info.
Resources: [18/20]
does your images/stocks/brushes/textures enhance the poster
images are good. quality is good. texture used is good.
stock is good. they work well together and have similar color tones.
i think the bokeh lights are quite big for the piece though.
everything is quite large in relation to each other. their heads are large,
the title is large, the flower is large. they seem to fight for attention,
so i think making the bokeh smaller would be nice.
maybe an additional texture to give it a little bit more ooomph
would be nice. like a subtle dirty paper texture, or some color adjustments.
Composition: [17.5/20]
did you create an eye catching and balanced piece
