Sick to her stomach, Yoona played with her dark chocolate brown cascades of hair. Somehow, her nervousness wouldn't go down. Her thoughts were in a mess, yet circling around her problem: TaecYeon. He was coming. Driving his expensive car, in designer clothes and shades, while probably thinking of ways to be mean towards her. 

     However, this one time, Yoona had prepared carefully. TaecYeon couldn't get to her. She was dressed up in a nice, red suit that fit exactly. Her makeup was good and so the nails. A pair of high pumps in black velvet made her taller, which added some confidence. There was just one tiny problem that ruined her impression: her crutches. The ones she received from the hospital two days earlier, because of her badly sprained ankle and pained knee. TaecYeon would definitely use them as material for his fiery remarks. 

     All Yoona had in defense was endurance and patience. Honestly, she wouldn't have called him if she wasn't in need. Each of her friends were busy, or they didn't have the ability to her. The reason she didn't ask somebody else, was because they didn't know about her engagement, and she wasn't in a hurry to share it with them either. So the only choice left was a certain someone. 

     Speaking of the devil, she thought when there was a knock on the door. 

     With her lungs widen at their capacity, she released a deep breath and headed for the gate to hell. Carefully, and just a little frightened, Yoona opened up. A tall, muscular creature in designer clothes and black shades waited. She nervously swallowed, before she put on the mask of coldness. The only greeting he received was of the minimal kind: the corner of jerked upwards for a second and fell down again. He neither said or did anything, just like she had suspected. But who cared?  

     Yoona made way towards a closet for outerwear and put on her black fur coat and leather gloves. To match his supremacy, she also chose a top notch pair of dark aviators. Very expensive ones. She also needed her knitted scarf and handbag. Surely, her second favorite season was very near, but winter hadn't passed yet. But more so, Yoona wanted to be naughty and remind TaecYeon of what he done. Therefore, she consciously picked a navy blue one, knowing he would understand the hint. 

     Unfortunately, he didn't react. Only when she went for her crutches. TaecYeon raised his brows through her ceiling and kept starring at her. He didn't ask or say anything, though. 

     When Yoona attempted to get by his blockade of the door, he finally opened his mouth. In worry, to her complete surprise. 

     "Are you okay?"

     His arm shot out and grabbed her elbow. She felt his warm hand supporting her through layers of clothes. Strangely, the heartbeats in her chest picked up the pace. Even butterflies fluttered in the stomach. But how, in any logical and scientific way, could she get affected by him? TaecYeon was cruel and spoiled. His words were empty and hadn't meant anything. So why?

     "Hey, are you in there?"

     Yoona gasped and realized where she was. She looked into his eyes, but couldn't see because of his sunglasses. Roughly, she pulled away from him and headed for the hallway. 

     "I'm fine," she mumbled.

     Due to her aching body, Yoona met hardship when she tried running away from him. TaecYeon stood by her side in no time, compared to herself. A light blush warmed her cheeks as she understood how pathetic she must look in his eyes. Small, fragile and incapable of taking care of herself. Not the best impression at the moment. 

     Yoona, do your best and forget the rest. What more can you do? she told herself while locking the apartment. 

     One hell of a question. She had many good, strong traits of character in her, they just didn't come out whenever TaecYeon was around. Everything was his fault. Yoona had always been a fighter, battling for what she believed and loved. But instead, she grew short and weak in his presence. Something very annoying.
