Hungover
CheckmateHanging over a seat in the restroom, Yoona felt another cramp roll through her, before the sea within calmed down. At last, the worst disappeared and she could breathe out. With her arm over her midriff, Yoona flushed and sat upon the lid. A huge sigh escaped her lips as she leaned her face into her palms and felt her guts relax and calm down. This was perhaps the worst lunchtime she had ever been through.
Despite arguing limbs and her turning mind, Yoona made the effort and stood up. On weak and insecure legs, she walked a few steps forward and opened the door. A wall of mirrors, reflecting her own image, faced her. She looked terrible. Dark puffs beneath her tired eyes, a mess for a hairstyle, pale skin and bad clothes. Inwards, she was even fouler.
The muscles were tender and weak, her mind spun and she walked around with a piercing headache. Yoona still felt tired, regardless of several hours in school, and in pain. Her concentration was dreadful, as well as her span of attention.
How Yoona wished she was in her marvelous penthouse at the moment. She wanted to lie on the sofa, in front of a great movie or series. A bowl of hot noodles wouldn't be so bad either, maybe with some tea. She needed to clear the head and be able to ponder. Hangovers and upset bodies didn't help much.
