FYI
Checkmate"Yoona-ssi!"
"Unnie!"
In unison, HyoYeon and Yoona ran towards each other in pretended slow motion, arms out and mouths open. From behind her, laughter poured from SeoHyun and Yuri while SooYoung followed HyoYeon with a huge grin on her lips. The ladies hadn't met up for quite some time and Yoona had missed her friends.
Of course, Yoona had met them during the housewarming party, but they hadn't been able to socialize because she, as the hostess, was forced to greet others as well. Later, at the nightclub, that incident between Geun-suk and TaecYeon took place, before Yoona danced the night off with the latter one and went home.
In conclusion, she had missed her girlfriends.
"Aww~ miss bride, how I've thought about you!"
Yoona started to laugh even before she could answer. Yet, she hugged unnie so tight when she reached the somewhat older woman. In the corner of her orbs, Yoona saw that SooYoung held up her phone at them while staring at the screen. But when she noticed that Yoona was looking towards her direction, into the camera, she looked up and flashed a big grin. A beep followed and SooYoung closed her cellphone.
"How's the engaged Yoong doing? We've felt so lone without you," HyoYeon pouted.
A smile formed her lips, "Don't be worried, because we shall never part again. Ever."
Once more, Yoona and unnie put their arms round each other. However, now, the rest of the girls joined in for a large hug. All burst into laughter, before SeoHyun brought out her smartphone for a picture of their group. Yoona put on her best grin, so big her lids closed. Then, she heard a mannered flash and she opened them again. Everyone joined around the youngest one and examined the photo. At the same time, they all began to guffaw.
"Yuri-ssi, look at your expression," Yoona grinned and pointed at the face she made, with the philtrum and jaw stretched out and her eyes crossed.
She looked hilarious, as well as her other friends. Yoona was the sole one smiling in the picture, which had been a ridiculous and excessive one too. However, the image was now memories, something to look at if she wanted to recollect the morning she returned to practice after two weeks absence. Besides, sporadic laughter here and there wasn't something bad either.
"Alright, next: the studio," HyoYeon announced while poiting towards the right.
The girls cheered while applauding, which caused several pupils in the corridor to spin around with curiousness written over their wondering faces. Yoona didn't care about the fixations, she just picked up her bag from the floor and started walking in between Yuri and SeoHyun, who talked with liveliness in their words. Without a doubt, everyone were just as happy as Yoona that she was back.
Yoona and the girls reached the mirrored studio within a minute, where HyoYeon took out a key to unlock the door. But, with a look of surprise, unnie noticed that she didn't need to as the room was already open. Her face was confused as HyoYeon began to scratch her dark blonde crown while the other four smiled and giggled.
"Unnie, is everything alright?" SeoHyun wondered.
"Ne," HyoYeon answered, deep in thought.
A few more seconds passed, before unnie just shrugged and entered the studio. In there, everyone found the reason behind the question HyoYeon thought about: JinKi and Taemin was already inside. The older and younger men were stretching their limbs on the floor. When their attention was drawn towards Yoona and her friends, both lit up and grinned like fools. Yoona replied their smiles and the girls walked closer as everyone greeted each other.
"Yoona-ssi, our bride is at last with us," JinKi joked when she perched down between him and Taemin.
She giggled, "Have I been missed that much?"
"Ne!" all exclaimed in unison.
At first, Yoona was a bit shaken from their answers, but then joined the spreading laughter. Oh dear, how she had been the one missing her friends and these moments. Two weeks, that was quite a long time if thought about.
Bang!
Each gaze within the room faced the door, which had been pushed open with a loud slam that had surprised everyone. In the entrance, a breathless Kibum stood, all red in the face with sweat running down his cheeks. The blonde hair was ruffled in a mess on top of the head and he wore a white t-shirt and harem pants in a black and neon pink tiger pattern. On his feet were a pair of black sneakers.
This was not the usual fashion related with Kibum. A bit too simple for his taste.
He must have awoken late and been forced to stress to school, which also wasn't like him. Kibum was like a noble prince, calm and collected, never on the run or emotional. This was the complete opposite.
