The moment their shocked gazes met, was the moment Yoona saw a flash in his stare. A second later, TaecYeon was coming against her in full speed. Her pulse made a sudden cease, before continuing pounding against the huge lump in the lower part of . Panic struck her when Yoona realised the man she never wanted to see ever again, was heading forwards with her as destination. 

     She took a step backwards. However, Yoona didn't get that far and tripped on a pair of heels she had thrown out from the closet earlier. With a brief scream and loud thud, she fell on the soft carpet. The landing wasn't that rough, but caused a bit of pain to her buttocks. But, her focus was somewhere else. On the large, warm hands that grabbed onto hers like for dear life. When Yoona looked upwards, she met his bewildered gaze once again, then snapped out from her trance. 

     "Don't touch me," her words dripping with poison.

     Pulling free and getting up fast, Yoona stood on her own feet and glared with rage towards him. TaecYeon didn't budge, just looked back at her in all seriousness, which made her even angrier. He didn't have a single reason to be so daring and touching. Just feeling his fingertips on her again, made Yoona want to bend over and throw up. But, she managed to keep a solid, callous expression, despite the smallest of tears crowding along her lashes. He was not worth even the slightest part of her attention. 

     "Yoona, please, let me explain," he begged.

    Seconds ticked on as she just stared at him, looking sarcastic. Then, from somewhere inside her, a laughter came and erupted, which she managed to suffocate behind a smile of indifference. Yoona didn't have one single reason to waste her laughter on this man. 

     "Fine, go ahead," Yoona replied. "Give me the lies and excuses."

     He sighed, "I've been calling and reaching out. You never returned-"

     "Oh, blaming the victim now, eh? Well, that's new."

     "Stop," TaecYeon ordered with a solid calmness, which infuriated her.

     "You too."

     Her answer was serious, the ridiculing tone gone. Now, the room fell into silence. Their gazes met once again, battling without a sound. His couldn't have been more determined, a look that broke her restraint. The dam of pride, which had barricated and protected her scarred heart, broke. A flood of emotions poured out into the open. 

     "Do you realise what you've done? To me?" Yoona shouted, demanding to know. "I saw what you did with her!"

     "Something had to be done, she was dangerous."

     Yoona felt dumbfound hearing this and raised her voice, "So? You kissed her, right in front of me! On my birthday!"

     "I don't have the power to control the calender," he sighed. 

     "Please, tell me you're joking."

     His answers were just so irrelevant and stupid, Yoona wished she chould throw something hurtful at him. The look of impassiveness managed to make things worse for TaecYeon and get him into a more troubled position. He showed no remorse whatsoever. This man was cold as ice. 

     "Yoona, I have done nothing wrong."

     The skin at her fingertips itched after her palm slapped his cheek. A silence lingered in between the walls as TaecYeon gawed at her in complete shock. Yoona just felt satisfied, but also in pain. She had injured him, something Yoona never thought she would. But, the situation was a lot different now. Her anger was limitless and unbounded, the object of her anger in front of her. 

     "How dare you?!" Yoona screamed, "You have done nothing but wrong! Do you have a clue how scared I was after you went to some insane woman pointing a gun?! The fact that I worried to death about you!"

     "I went and left you there because of the insane woman pointing a gun!"

     The sudden increase of his voice and tone surprised Yoona until she couldn't think of a response. But, she couldn't keep quiet due to her anger.
