Jonghyun and key slept well through the night, they got up and ate then jonghyun assisted key in taking care of his garden.

Even though jognhyun dropped some of the gardening tools and he fell on three plants, they had fun, key didn’t stop smiling and jonghyun was too happy to even question himself.

After they finished key decided to make some tea while jonghyun washed his face.

Key filled the cups with hot water and went to grab the tea bags, but when he pulled his arm back he knocked one of the cups over and the hot water went all over his forearm.

Key reacted immediately, falling back away from the water hitting the counter behind him in the process, he clutched his burnt and opened his mouth to scream, but nothing came out, as usual.

He could feel the boiling water burning his skin, making it tingle and sting as his skin was burnt. Tears started streaming down his face as he continued his silent scream, letting out only air as he slid to the ground.

“KEY!” jonghyun came out from washing his face and froze when he saw key curled up against the counter, clutching his arm and crying out in pain. He ran over aand saw the hot water in the cup and the other that had tipped over “oh god” he picked up a washer and wet it, he knelt before key and forced him to hold out his arm, then he squeezed the wet washer over his burnt arm and water covered the red area.

He did it again and again until key had stopped crying. jonghyun wiped away the last of his tears and gave him a reassuring smile “are you okay?”

Key nodded and swallowed more tears

“are you sure?”

He nodded again and looked down at his arm that had a wet washer wrapped around it

Jonghyun sat key down in lounge room and sat by him.

Key was still upset because he didn’t scream, he did, but nothing happened, he hated being silent.

“it cant be good being mute for too long can it?” jonghhyun asked in innocent curiosity and key understood him

‘its not’ key wrote

“I mean, when you get hurt, you cant call for help, can you?”

Key shook his head and looked down

“do you want to talk?”

Key nodded

“why cant you?”

‘because I guess I forgotten how to make sound’ key wrote

*beep beep  beep beep*

Jonghyuns phone went off and he opened the text to see it was from onew

‘hows it all going, are you being normal?

-from onew’

Jonghyun ignored it and put his phone down then faced key.

Key felt bad, he wanted to tell jonghyun how happy he was they were friends but he knew part of it was thanks to onew.

‘jonghyun im really happy we met’ key wrote with a smile

“me too”

‘and to be honest, I need to thank onew for that, I mean he was really the one who encouraged me to invite you over and gave me hints as to how to socialise’ key wrote and blushed

“wait onew was helping you?” jonghyun furrowed is brow, he thought onew was helping him

‘yea, it was a secret, but I think he deserve some credit’

“he was helping me too” jonghyun said as he thought, then it hit him and he jumped to his feet fuming “he was trying to get us together!”

Key opened his mouth but closed it again and started writing again but he didn’t have enough time

“The day at the bakery he said he saw something! THE BASTARD! HE IS TRYING TO MAKE ME GAY!” jonghyun bolted out the door, key stood up and ran after him.

(and that brings us to where we left in the last chapter :P)

Jonghyun had hidden in the bathroom for half an hour while key and onew talked about it and explained it.

“well that make sense”

‘are you trying to get us together’ key wrote

“I was just trying to get you too closer, getting together is up to you because I know that he likes you at least a little but he is having a hard time accepting it”

Key nodded, because it make sense.

They finished their conversation and walked back into the apartment, where 2min sat awkwardly on the couch and jonghyun was still in the bathroom.

“whats happened?” minho asked when they came in

“don’t worry, just jonghyuns having a tantrum” onew explained making key smile and nod even though he was still concerned about him

“well ok” minho pressed his lips together, knowing what was coming

“so you two were kissing?” onew asked with his brows risen

Key smiled at taemin then signed ‘tall huh?’ to him

‘shut up’ taemin pouted and signed back

“uh y-yea” minho put his head down and taemin just looked at key

Onew was hurt a little because he liked taemin a little, but he knew that minho and tamein had a better chance.

“when did this happen?” onew asked

“last night” taemin mumbled

Key still just smiled at them

“then you made up?”

They both nodded blushing

“good, im happy for you” onew smiled warmly

“thankyou” taemin smiled back and minho just felt relieved since onew seemed protective of taemin

Finally key stood up and pulled taemin into a tight hug making taemin squeak

Minho and onew laughed as key wiggled the boy as they hugged, they pulled apart and key signed to taemin

‘you two are so cute’

‘no we’re not’ taemin singed and blushed

‘I want to say I told you so but that’s mean’ key signed and taemin blushed harder

‘its ok, you can say it’

‘I told you so’ key poked out his tounge and pinched one of taemins cheeks, taemin pulled away and rubbed his sore cheek.

That’s when he spotted something under keys sleave

“key” taemin said out loud key looked at him “what happened?” he pointed at his arm

Key looked down and saw the bandage was sticking out

‘its nothing I just spilt hot water on it’ he signed

“what happened?” minho and onew asked taemin who was the only person who understoon

“he spilt hot water on It”

“oh god are you okay?” onew asked and key nodded then showed them the bandage jonghyun put on it and smiled at them.

Finally jonghyun emerged from the bathroom with a red blushing face

“ive got to go, my manager needs me” jonghyun pointed to the door

“ok be safe” onew said to be kind

“Im not talking to you” jonghyun said as he flicked his head and waltzed out the door

“yes not gay in the slightest” minho said sarcastically.
