You checked your phone and there was a text.

"Sweetie, mom will just go to a friend's house. Your dad will come there too when he comes home. Minwoo will go overtime. I leave the house to you. Take care. Loveyou."

 

"AISH! On a time like this?" you blurted out. You realized you were all alone with Kwangmin.

 

"Yah, my parents are not home. Want to go home now?" you told Kwangmin.

"What? I just came and.."

"You might be bored here with just the two of us."

"I'm fine here."

"Really?"

"Aren't you scared of being alone?"

"N-no! Who said I'm scared?"

"Psh."

 

You went to the kitchen and cooked your chicken. You were so hungry. So hungry that while frying it, the oil burst and it hit you.

 

"AHHH! OUCH!" you yelped in pain.

"What happened?" Kwangmin ran to you.

"The oil. It.."

"Aish.. Pabo."

Kwangmin then volunteered to cook the chicken instead of you.

 

"Wash your hands."

 

You did so. You washed your hands and it felt a little better. But it still left a mark.

 

"I'll do that." you told Kwangmin about cooking the chicken.

"It's almost finished. Set the table."

"Don't order me ar-" you were cut off.

"No buts."

"But it's my h-"

"I said no buts. Just set the table."

 

"Aish, this guy is annoying. Ordering me in my own house. How rude!" you said to yourself.

 

You set the table. With a plate, spoon and fork, and a glass. After a while, Kwangmin went out of the kitchen and put the finished fried chicken on the table. It made you more hungry. You quickly got some rice from your rice cooker and went back to the table. You ate the chicken and it tasted so good. You finally had something delicious in your mouth.

 

"Yah." Kwangmin called you.

"Hm?" you couldn't talk because of the food in your mouth.

For a response, Kwangmin raised his eyebrow on you.

"Thank you?" you said, not knowing what he's implying.

He rolled his eyes, "Why is there only one plate for you? Aren't you going to give food for your visitor?"

"Oh... Sorry, I thought you weren't gonna eat."

 

You went to get another plate, spoon, and fork. You were so hungry that you only took one plate for yourself. And you also thought that Kwangmin wasn't going to eat.

 

After giving him the plate, spoon, and fork, you guys ate together.

 

"It's good!" you told him.

He just smiled. While you were eating, you noticed something on his face and it made you smile.

 

"What's the smile for?" Kwangmin asked.

"You didn't take it off."

 

You were talking about the Pikachu Bandaid. He just kept silent and ate with you.

 

"Is it true?" you asked him. "You're having your monthsary with your girlfriend today?"

 

He froze with your sudden question.

 

"Why do you keep on asking that?"

"I just want to know."

"I just don't want going to school during the 11th."

"Because you always go out with your girlfriend?"

"It's not that..."

"So you're always sick during 11?"

Kwangmin kept silent, "...I think so."

 

You two continued eating. This time, you were having a hard time when you were slicing your chicken. You were cutting and cutting but then, it suddenly jumped out of your plate, to Kwangmin's plate.

"Yah." he called you.

"Sorry," you were gonna get the piece of chicken back but Kwangmin stopped you.

"It's mine now."

"No, that's mine. Pabo."

"It's now on my plate so it's mine now."

"That's totally unfair, Mr. Grumpy."

"It's not my fault it landed here, right?"

He sticked his fork to the chicken and was going to put it in his mouth.

"Aish." you gave up. You just took another piece of fried chicken.

 

"AHHH~"

 

You looked up to see Kwangmin holding the chicken in front of you.

"Open your mouth~"

"Weirdo." You smiled and opened your mouth and ate the chicken.

"Thank you!" 

 

After that, Kwangmin finished eating and waited for you to finish your food.

"I'll clean the dishes." he firmly said. 

"Ah, you don't ha-"

"No buts."

 

"Hmpf, no buts this. No buts that." you murmured.

"What did you say?" 

"Nothing."

"Good."

 

You continued eating your not yet finished food.

"Kwangmin-ssi.."

"Yes?"

"Aren't we close when we were young?"

He got shocked 'cause of your sudden question.

 

"Are we?" you asked him.

"We've been together since we were young." he said. 

"But how come Youngmin's closer to me?"

"Why do you keep on asking questions?!" he suddenly fired up. 

"Oh, I'm sorry.. I'm done eating."

 

You took your plate in the sink, Kwangmin followed after you.

"Leave it there." 

"Okay."

 

Silence filled up the whole house. You went to the living room and watched TV. After Kwangmin finished the dishes, he sat down on the couch. You had nothing but silence in between.

 

"We were together since we're young. We were close too."

"Really? I just don't remember too much." He kept quiet.

"Even closer to you than Youngmin..." he murmured.

"What?"

"Nothing."

 

Silence, again.

 

"Do you want to go home?"

"You're scared of being alone."

 

You got shocked when he said that. 

"How did you know that?"

"You're scared of the dark too."

"How di-"

"Am I right?"

"Yeah..."

"So do you really want me to go home?"

"No..."

 

♫ Yennal, jageun nunni cheongmal gwiyeowotdeon sonyeo~ ♫

 

Your phone rang.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"~~~ -ahhhh."

"Yes?" you giggled. 

 

"Yah, who's that?" Kwangmin asked.

"You miss me?" you were laughing on the phone.

"Okay, tomorrow. Okay. Bye!"

 

"Yah, who was that?" 

"Youngmin."

 

He kept silent. You and Kwangmin were bored. You two didn't know what to do. You just watched TV.

 

"Kwangmin, let's go out!"

"Eh, I'm tired." he said in a exhausted voice. You saw him laying down on the couch. You didn't notice since you were focused on the TV. 

 

"Yah," you held his forehead and it  was hot, "You're hot."

"I know that already." he said in a sarcastic way.

"Not that hot. As in hot hot."

 

You went to get a warm water and a towel. You got some blanket too. You gave him a blanket and you put the towel with warm water on his head. You checked his temperature. 38.4. His fever was acting up. 

"~~~ -ah, turn off the aircon. It's so cold." He was freezing.

"Weirdo, it's turned off."

 

You went to get another blanket. When you got back, you saw him sleeping already. You stayed by his side and observed him while he was sleeping.

 

"He seems nice when sleeping." you giggled at yourself.

You called Youngmin and told him what happened to Kwangmin.

 

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Youngmin-ah~ Kwangmin's here. Can you pick him up so he could rest?"

"What's he doing there?! Why didn't you tell me at the first place?!"

"You didn't ask~ kekeke. Hurry, he's getting really hot."

"Arasso, I'll come."

"Thank you, bye!"

 

You hang up and watched TV while waiting for Youngmin to come. 

 

"N-n-no! No, don't go!"

 

You got shocked when Kwangmin talk in his sleep. "Yah, are you okay?" you poked him. He still stayed asleep. After some time, you let Kwangmin sleep and decided not to disturb him. Just a few minutes and Youngmin came and fetched Kwangmin too.

 

You went to your room and laid down on the bed.

 

"Thanks for taking care of him. See you tomorrow, bye! ♥

 

- Youngminnie. ♥"

 

You received a text from Youngmin and then you went to sleep.
