Zhou Mi’s POV~

“There, I’m finished.” I said a little glumly as I stacked the final box on top. I looked around the house and couldn’t help but feel lonesome. It was missing some of my own things and it looked a little barren in my opinion. I can’t really imagine myself going back to the Super Junior M’s dorm knowing I won’t be living here again.

I simply gave myself a final tour around the house, grazing by room after room remembering the memories created there. The kitchen that withstood all those cooking battles and failures was probably my favorite room.

I unplugged my phone and it’s charger from the wall and headed into the living room, finding Han Ah asleep on the couch. She had her feet hanging off the side and her arms folded over her flat stomach that was moving at a steady rhythm, signaling that she was peacefully asleep.

“Ne Han Ah, you’ll catch a cold if you sleep out here.” I whisper to her, gently nudging her shoulder. She didn’t reply so I gently lifter her up bridal style, and carried her upstairs.

Even when I placed her gently onto the bed and covered her with the comforter, she still didn’t budge. I could only stare at her face illuminated by the moonlight coming in from our window. I gently tucked away a stray hair that fell down her face and couldn’t help but admire her for a second too long. The way she slept so peacefully was angelic. Her long lashes grazing her cheekbones that were a healthy rose color and her milky white skin that radiated her natural beauty. She truly was Korea’s top female idol. I saw the sun slowly peaking its way through the horizon. It’s already the brink of morning, I should go. I gently kissed her a final farewell on her smooth forehead and closed the door behind me.

Han Ah’s POV~

I gently awoke when my back hit the bed, yet it’s weird how we all continue to pretend like we’re still asleep. The whole moment felt like an eternity, something I never wanted to end with Zhou Mi sitting beside me on the edge of the bed. I felt his warm lips touch my forehead before I heard the door shut a moment later. I immediately opened my eyes and sat up, hugging my knees to my chest.

Run after him! Why are you just sitting here like some idiot?

I had a battle with my conscience before I busted through the bedroom door.

“Zhou Mi!” I yelled out but heard no reply. I listened closely and heard the sound of a car engine pulling out of the driveway from outside. I ran downstairs as fast as my legs could carry me, considering I still had a pretty twisted ankle from the vacation. When I got outside, I saw his car turning a corner.

“Zhou Mi!” I yelled out at the top of my lungs and made a run for it, only to be greeted by a stabbing pain on my foot, causing my knees to give way. I could only pound into the ground with anger and sadness.

“Don’t leave me. Please.”

It’s too late now. He’s already gone.
