My heart stopped. My mind was blank. Is this for real?!

"You're j-joking r-right?" I asked her with a shaky voice. 'Oh no...my tears is building up..Othokkae?'

[Othokkae=What should I do?]

"Yunhi, why should I lie to you? While you were singing the hospital called me, saying my number was in one of your parents wallet. They asked me about your family, and I told them you were the only one they had in this country while your other family at Korea." She explain to me in details.

I couldn't hold my tears anymore, the tears fall down slowly on my cheeks. It hurts...My heart hurts... 'Think positive Kim Yunhi! they're not Dead yet!' I slapped my cheeks and looked at Mrs Madeline.

"Can you take me to the hospital?" I asked her. She nodded

We went off to the hospital. When we reach there, I was to scared to move my legs. 'What if they are dead? where can i go? ' Mrs Madeline patted my back and took my hand. She looked at me and smiled "Everything's going to be fine"

We went into the hospital and ask the recipients. "They are still in the emergency room, let me lead you the way" the recipients say. She leaded us to the emergency room. "Please wait here for while" she said and left us alone in silence.

After 2 hours waiting, the doctor finally came out from the emergency room. Mrs Madeline quickly stand and asked the doctor. "How is it doctor?" she asked

"Are you one of the family member?" He asked

"No, I'm the teacher of their daughter Kim Yunhi" she said while pointing at me

"Urgh... I see.. Can I talk to you in private please?" asked Doctor

"Yes.." she said. She looked at me and put her hand on my shoulder 

"Yunhi stay here for a minute kay? Don't go anywhere.." she said to me. I just nodded

They left me alone, by looking at their faces I knew...that they were no longger..with me.. I cried alone..not knowing what will happen to me next...

Mrs Madeline and the Doctor conversation:

"I'm sorry...but... It was too late.." the doctor said while putting his head down..Mrs Madeline put her hand over ..."They had lost too much blood and we just dont have enough" He continued

"Do you know how can we contact their family members? Other than this girl...she needed her family member to take care of her now that her parents are not here.." He said

"I dont know other than her parents... we need to ask her instead" she said

They went back to Yunhi. Her head was on her knees. Mrs Madeline bend down, and ask her "Do you know your family members contact number? Such as your uncle or auntie maybe?"  

I nodded and hand them a piece of paper with a number 01x-xxxxxxxx

They dialed the number and gave me the phone (since they dont speak Korean)

"Yobosayo?" said my uncle  Hong Seung-Sung

"Uncle.." I said with a weak voice

"Kim Yunhi? Is that you?" He asked me with a shocked voice

"Dae..Uncle..can you come to USA and pick me up?" I asked him

"Eh? wae? you have your parents right?" He asked

"They.....they had a car accident...Im In the hospital right now...alone..*sobbed*..uncle..jaebal...help me.." I said while crying. Mrs Madeline patted my back to make me feel better.

"What!?....ara-arasseo...i come as soon as possible...It will took me about a day to get to USA..who are you going to stay with until then?" He asked me

I looked at Mrs Madeline "I'm going to stay with my teacher then.." I said

"Arasseo..Yunhi..stay strong..I will take care of you kay?" He said then hung up

I put the phone down and looked at Mrs Madeline

"Teacher...i can stay at your place tonight right? It will take about a day for my uncl to come here...he came here before so he knows where i stayed.." I said. She just nodded and we went back to her place...

At Mrs Madeline place..

*Beep* *Beep* my phone rings...

It's a message from Scarlet....

"Hey! i heard the news...are you okay?"

"I'm okay...My uncle is going to take care of me now...I'm at Mrs Madeline place, she will take care of me until my uncle come and pick me up.." I sent 

"Why didn't you crash at my place? I'm sure my parents would understand..." She replied

"I don't want to disturbed you family...knowing that they dont like me much....I dont know when i would leave..Maybe a day after tomorrow..." I sent

"they don't hate you...That soon...then.. could we at least go out tomorrow before you leave? You know I'm going to miss you..." She replied

"Sure why not... I'm tired now...I should go to sleep..night.." I sent

"You must be tired...night.. I see you tomorrow!" she replied

After I finished texting Mrs Madeline give me some clothes

"Here, you should go and change to a comfortable clothes now.." she said while giving me the clothes with a pity smile. I went and change and after i came back out she was on the bed..thinking about something..Mrs Madeline is only 20 years old, she isn't married yet...that's why she lived alone and have a small house...

I went near her and she looked at me.."You must be tired.. here sleep on the bed..I'll sleep on the sofa there..Goodnight" she said and left

I couldn't get a chance to replied to her...

The next day...

It was already morning and i can smell some chicken and...rice? I went out the door and saw Mrs Madeline placing a pate on the table.... 

"Owh! Yunhi you woke up already? here come and eat..you must be hungry since you didn't eat dinner yesterday..." she said

I went and sit down and looked at the food... "Well go on and eat then.." she said

I ate the chicken rice and washed the plate

"You don't need to wash it..." said Mrs Madeline beside me 

"But I cant just stay at you place for free..." I said and continue washing the plate

After I finished eating, I went and sit down on the sofa..

"Teacher..can I go to my house and packed my stuff?" I asked her and she nodded

After I washed myself she sent me to my house...And in front of the gate is..Scarlet?

"Scarlet? what are you doing here?" I said 

"Owh! Yunhi!" she ran and hugged me

"Didn't i told you that we would hang out today?" she continued and the looked at me

"Owh yeah..." I said

I got a spare house key just incase.. I walked on and open the door... I looked back to see Mrs Madeline and said "Thank you for giving me a ride"

I went inside my house and Scarlet followed behind..

I went upstairs and packed up my clothes and stuff I wanted to bring with me..

"I have to pack up first then we can go hang out.. okay?" I looked at scarlet. She was crying?

"Scarlet what's wrong?" I asked

Suddenly she hugged me, tightly.

"I know you are trying hard to smile Yunhi..But it's not working..I can see you are in pain right now.." she said while hugging me tighter..

We cried together...

After letting all of my emotions out...I continued my packing and Scarlet help me...

Few hours later....The door bell ring...

I went down stair and looked at the door hole..it is my Uncle...That was fast, guess he took the private jet. 

I opened the door..

"Uncle..." I said and my tears starts building up again and I hugged him...

"There,there sweetie.." he hugged me back while patting my back which made me comfortable.

He sat down and I told him what happened..

"Uncle..when are we going back?" I ask. Scarlet was packing my stuff upstairs..Not wanting to disturbed my conversation.

"I already booked a ticket..and it's tomorrow morning 8:00am" He said

"Then....what should we do with mum and dad body?" I ask

"We have to put their grave at Korea, I already discuss this and it will take back with us on same day" He explained

"Uncle..my friend and I are going to go out for last time...today...could you wait for me until i come back?" I ask

"Sure..it must be hard for you Yunhi" he said and patted my back

Scarlet and I then went to the mall and amusement park evrywhere...We took loads of picture to keep a memory...It's hard for me to smile but Scarlet beside me..I can just laugh out loud like nothing had happen..like we used to..when mum and dad were here..

Just like that the day ended...too fast...
