A salesman clutched onto his briefcase as he started to run, the eerie atmosphere made his stomach churn with fear. He ran forward, trying to erase that image from his head. Trying to run away as fast as he could from the nightmare he just experienced. His flyers and advertisements flew out from his hands but he didn’t care. He just wanted to run as fast as could to a safe place.

He could hear the bristling leaves crunching nearby. 

Thud, thud, thud.

He needed run faster.

The sense of urgency was more visible now as he ran into a dead end.

He looked up to see nothing but a wall, no roads or pathways to run.  He desperately kicked the walls, hoping for a miracle. But in reality there was none. He could hears twigs breaking, flocks of birds flying in an instant. He slammed his hands against the walls.

“HELP!” He cried.

But as he turned, the dark shadow slowly formed.

Thud, thud, thud

The salesman pressed his body against the walls as the creature, dark figure suddenly became quite clear.

Crimson eyes

Sharp fangs

“No…No…NO Don’t kill me!” The salesman shrieked.

The dark figure emerged from the shadows and walked closer to the petrified man.

Thud Thud Thud

“Eat? You humans taste disgusting, I rather take your blood,” Seunghyun hissed at his prey. The man bowed in front of Seunghyun.

“Please don’t. I have a family. I have a wife and kids, they’re waiting for me to come home.”

Seunghyun cackled in front of the man.

“Do I look like I care?” Seunghyun coarsely whispered.

Seunghyun showed no more mercy as he brutally sunk his teeth on his prey’s skin, draining away his precious blood.

‘Dammit! I’m late!” Siwon shouted as he poked the cold body on the ground. Siwon held his gun close to his chest as his hunter instincts are telling him there’s a vampire nearby. Siwon raised his gun towards the sky, as he could feel the presence of vampires. His head rotated around, scanning for any vampires on the loose.

Within a flash, he could see Seunghyun on top of the building. Seunghyun had his red eyes locked onto Siwon’s fierce eyes. Siwon pulled the trigger but the bullet dodged past Seunghyun as Seunghyun disappeared into his own shadow before disappearing completely.

“Dammit Seunghyun.” Siwon muttered.

The police sirens echoed the streets, as police cars parked outside the incident.<
