Promise

“Daddy? Where are you?” Bom’s shrilled voice shook the forest. The forest was dead silent with the exception of the light echoes of Bom’s voice. Bom was alone. She was tired of walking through the thick layers of snow surrounding her.
‘I love the colour of snow. It’s just so beautiful and pure,’ Bom mumured as her eyes gazed towards the snow. Suddenly she felt an icy hand grabbed her shoulders. She could feel the sharp nails that dug her jacket. She spun around to see crimson eyes that locked into Bom’s teary eyes.

Bom was right in front of a vampire. Her heart was pounding even harder now as beads of sweat dribbled down. Bom was frozen. She couldn’t move. Streams of tears flowed down from Bom’s eyes. “This is it, I’m going to die” she croaked.
“AHHHHHHHH.” The vampire screamed.
Blood tricked down from the vampire’s forehead. The vampire’s pale white skin turned blue as the vampire’s body collapsed against the snow. Her father carefully stowed away the gun away as he ran to comfort his terrified daughter. Bom watched in terror as she saw the pure white snow slowly changed into a dark crimson colour.

Bom’s heart leapt when she woke up, finding herself in an empty classroom and her head resting on the school desk. It was only a nightmare. No, it wasn’t a nightmare, it was her past memory,
“Bom, you’re awake?”
