Chanyeol woke up at 7 am, on the dot. When Kris found him, he was in the kitchen, eating eggs with ketchup on top. Kris smiled, and approached his new fiance. Chanyeol looked towards his lover, and smiled.

"Goodmorning, Mr. Wu." Chanyeol giggled, recieving a sweet kiss from his husband. Kris rubbed his eyes, and swiftly walked over to a seat next to Chanyeol. "Didn't you fix me any breakfast?" Kris questioned, eyeing the eggs Chanyeol had made for himself. Chanyeol shook his head, "I didn't think you'd be up this early, sorry." 

"Why are you up this early, anyway?" Kris asked. He probably did know the answer, but Chanyeol's day was pretty chill yesterday, and he got a lot of sleep, which would probably result in him waking up earlier this morning. Chanyeol motioned to his stomach,

"Ren woke me up again." He and Kris shared a laugh as Chanyeol scooted closer to his fiance, and Kris put his arm around Chanyeol. Kris frowned. He had been thinking for a long time. He just wasn't sure about this whole situation. I mean yeah, he couldn't wait to meet Ren, but would he be a good father? He just did not know. He didn't know how to tell Chanyeol either. He just, didn't want to-

"Chanyeol, I'm scared." Chanyeol took his head off of Kris's shoulder, "About what?" He looked solemn. Kris couldn't hold it in anymore, and burst into tears, which made Chanyeol take immidiate action, as he manuvered Kris around his stomach to give him a hug. 

"Yifan," Chanyeol pat his fiance's back, "What's wrong, baby?" Kris just couldn't speak for a second, then he finally was able to stop hypervenilating, "I-It's just.. Ren will be coming soon, and I don't think I'll be good enough for her. I'm not going to be the perfect dad like I wanted to... and it.." Kris broke down again. 

Chanyeol couldn't believe this. Kris was actually worried about being a father? He knew he was overprotective, but.. he wouldn't ever guess that he had cold feet about being a dad. Chanyeol didn't even think, he just placed Kris's hand on his stomach. Chanyeol tilted Kris's head to his, "Ren loves you, she adores you Yifannie. Don't fret, okay? She always calms down when you talk to her, and she responds so well when you bond with her. She's always happy when I'm around you. She's gonna love you. I love you. The way you treat her is so amazing, and she's not even here yet. That's total proof that you're gonna be an amazing dad." Kris sniffed,

"Chanyeol, we don't know that for sure. How come she moves so much when she's around you? How come she seems to be so shy around me, but is totally happy when she's just with you? Why is it she loves you more than me?" It may have seemed like Kris was being selfish, but to be honest, he just had all these feeling balled up inside, and Chanyeol was astonished. 

"Here." He placed Kris's hand on the side of his stomach, "Say something to me, Yifan. Just anything." Kris sniffled, "I love you Chany-" Kris could feel Ren moving softly underneath his palm. He looked up from Chanyeol's stomach to see Chanyeol solemnly smiling at him.

"See? She loves you so much. Look, if I say something, this happens." He took back Kris's hands and placed it in the same place. 

"Rennie, you love both of us very much, right?" Chanyeol asked his stomach, and the couple felt a little flutter of sharp kicks. Kris started laughing. Chanyeol pouted, "Do you see what she does to me?" Kris rubbed Chanyeol's stomach softly, rubbing little circles into Chanyeol's swollen stomach. 

"She's just excited."
