He did not want this relationship to end. He didn’t want to initiate the confession. He was afraid.

“Nice joke Kris.” You pushed him away.

“I’ll finish applying this then?”

“Yeah, do whatever. I can’t stop you anyways.”

“Wise choice.”

It was now around 6 and you decided to stop swimming. After eating dinner, you guys sat on the beach chairs in the balcony of your resort room, with a bottle of red wine.

“I knew red wine would grow on you.”

“I hope I’m not addicted.”

“I hope so too. Did you have a good day?”

“Of course. I ate good food!”

“You and food.”

“I live to dine.”

“What about me?”

“Do you keep me full?”

“Not really.”

“Then no!” You laughed.

“I bet you wouldn’t last a day if you had a diet.”

“I always wanted to diet a bit.”

“Don’t…Your already perfect.”

*D-did he just say I was perfect?* You couldn’t help but blush.

*Did I just say that?* Kris’ ears went red.

He took a sip of red wine. He looked at your flimsy t-shirt and shorts. “Are you cold?”

“Kind of. But I’m fine.”

“Wait here.”

He swiftly ran and grabbed a blanket. He came back with the blanket draped over his shoulders.

“Come to me!” He playfully sang.

“Ew no. You can have it.”

“You’re going to catch a cold though.” He walked over to your beach chair and sat down on it.

You’re eyes slitted into two lines.

“Don’t do that. You look like some anime character.”

“I know kungfu.”

“No you don’t. You told me that 3 months ago, and you couldn’t even wrestle a teddy bear.”

“Why would I wrestle a teddy bear anyways?”

“Psh. Anyways, come to me!” He grinned.

“No.”

“Don’t make me force you.”

“Try me.”

“Are you serious?”

You walked over to him and went into his embrace.

“Hah. See? You know you can’t win me.”

“Very funny. You know there’s only one bed right?”

He gave a mischievous smile. “Oh yeah. I know.”

“Great! Then I’ll sleep inside and you sleep here.”

“What? No! I’ll sleep WITH you IN the BED.”

“No.”

“Why? You’ve been in my bed a load of times.”

“While I’m awake. God knows what your erted self might do to my pure body?”

“I’m not going to do anything. Plus, you’ve slept with me before…”

You’re fever was now very high and Kris could not trust the maids with your fever.

“Sleep with me tonight. I’ll look after you.”

You couldn’t reject his offer. You were suffering. Kris picked you up effortlessly and walked to his room.

“But…”

Kris gave you a pout. “You don’t want your boyfriend to get sick outside do you? After all, you could have a chance to sleep with God.”

“You are so vain. I guess there wouldn’t be a problem. But no touching.”

“We’ll see…” Kris mumbled.

“What was that?”

“Nothing!”

You were still in Kris’ arms, lying down on the beach chair. You were in deep thought. You felt that you were happy to be around him all the time. He was funny, caring and knew how to make you laugh. But you were not convinced that you love him. You were afraid that he didn’t like you the same way you did, so you had locked in any attraction.

“Kris…I wanted to ask you something. What do we do if we both love each other?”

“Why do you ask this?”

“I just wanted to know, because there could be a large possibility.”

“I haven’t thought of that yet. Seems like someone likes me already?”

“No. Well, I hope not…”

“Why?”

“Because I don’t want to lose a friend. A good one at that.”

“So you only see me as a friend?”

“What else am I supposed to see you as?”

“Even though you could have already fallen for me?”

“I’m not sure.”

“Silly.”

“Gee thanks.”

*Don’t you know that I’m so in love with you Kang ~~~~~?*

“I’m tired. Let go to sleep.” You were abound to stand up when Kris lifted you up bridal style and carried you in.

“You really should stop carrying me.” You held onto his neck tightly.

“One day.” Kris smiled.
