LONG CHAPTER INCOOOOMMMMIIINGG! :D

--Dance Class--

We were all stretching in front of the dance studio’s full- length mirrors and my eyes couldn’t help but slide over to where Sehun was. He was standing right near the window and the light streaming through make him look like an angel. Hmm, maybe I should name the bear Sehun Junior. I chuckled to myself and he slowly turned his head around and our eyes met for a millisecond before I twisted my face back to the mirror. I felt my cheeks heat up and desperately hoped that my hair (which was still down) was covering enough of my face for him not to see that I was blushing.

Seohyun almost knocked me off balance when she nudged me. She gave me a ‘go and talk to him already’ look, to which I furiously shook my head. Miss Park walked in and clapped her hands. “Everyone, we will be doing partner work. Boy-girl. Also, this will be a great chance to socialise with your classmates and socialise. You have one minute. Sammy, Sehun, I expect you to go together, seeing as you need to practice for the big event.” I just nodded.

I felt a strong, warm hand on my shoulder. “A-are you okay to dance with me?” I turned around and of course, Sehun was standing behind me, staring at the ground, and then he looked into my eyes with a hopeful expression. His eyes were like doe eyes, all warm and chocolate brown. “Are you kidding me? Of course I am!” I playfully shoved him while grinning. He grinned back and we started to learn the choreography.

There were a few lifts in the choreo, but Sehun didn’t seem to struggle to lift me. I apologised for being heavy and all he said was, “You must be joking! You’re as light as a feather to me, Sammy.” I liked the way he said my name. There was some -cough- skinship in the dance (cue blushing!) but he didn’t seem to be bothered by that as well. Was I the only one? I felt like I couldn’t breathe when he was close to me.

After a five minute break, we went through the choreography again, and then it was time to perform. We picked random numbers out of a hat. Sehun and I got three. Seohyun, who had partnered up with Sehun’s friend Kai picked number two. Kai was an amazing dancer. Like, amazing. Maybe even better than I am.

We watched Kai and Seohyun’s performance, and we clapped very loudly. As Seohyun walked past, I nudged her and said, “I saw some teeth action.” She gave me an unimpressed look and broke into a smile. And then she blushed. She may or may not have a crush on Kai.

Finally, it was our turn to perform. Sehun helped me up and walked me to the middle of the floor. The music started, and our bodies moved right in time and perfectly to the music, and I felt like we fit together perfectly. The dance became more passionate towards the end, and my heart started to beat uncontrollably every time our skin touched. The ending pose was a dip with our faces close to each other’s. (kyaa!)

The whole class was quiet for a moment, and then broke out into clapping and wolf whistling at us! It was so embarrassing, and Sehun only made it worse by whispering right next to my ear, “Good job, Sammy.” His voice and his breath sent shivers down my spine and just when I thought I had calmed down, my heart started to accelerate again. He walked me over to the bar and we wordlessly collapsed onto the floor. As we watched the other couples dance, I glanced at him every once in a while, and occasionally our eyes would meet. He just smiled at me, and then looked away. I’m starting to doubt that he has feelings for me like I do for him…

--SEHUN’S POV--

That dance was amazing. We kept on stealing glances at one another, and I gave her small smiles, to which she smiled back. She’s just….amazingly wonderful. I should tell Baekhyun hyung about this. I can’t tell Suho hyung, he’ll just repeat what he said last night.  Class ended, and we thanked Miss Park and ran out of the studio. Luckily, my ride was already waiting outside for me. I walked past Sammy and Seohyun and stepped into the car. After I waved to them through the window and they waved back, the car took off to the EXO-K dorm.
