Kiseop rooted through his closet once more, trying to find something suitable to wear on his date with Jaeseop. He stopped himself. It wasn't a date, and he could wear anything he wanted. Grabbing a black pair of skinny jeans and a white shirt, he paused.

Only to go back through his closet again. He was nervous. AJ had left to meet up with a producer for their songs and Kiseop didn't have much to do. Not when Kevin had been all over Eli all day.

"Kiseop?" Kevin knocked on the open door and stepped inside the room. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to find something to wear. Jaeseop and I are going out to dinner later, and he says he has something important to tell me. I'm really nervous because what if it's...what if it's that he likes me? Or...then maybe it's that he doesn't like me like that but still wants to be friends?" Kiseop explained, examining ripped pair of jeans.

"Oh!" Kevin smiled and enthusiastically joined Kiseop in his search for the perfect outfit. "I can do your makeup, too, Kiseop. We'll have you looking so good, Jaeseop won't be able to keep his eyes off of you."

"An-ani, Kevin. I don't want my makeup done, going like this is fine, right?" Kiseop protested and Kevin huffed out in defeat.

"Fine." Kevin pouted and began to look for an outfit once again. Half an hour later, Kevin and Kiseop decided on a loose fitting pair of blue jeans with holes here and there, and a simple white t-shirt with a pair of beat up converse for his feet. It was nothing too out of the ordinary for Kiseop, but he looked fantastic in it.

And, Jaeseop once mentioned he had a thing for simple styles and outfits, Kiseop couldn't help but smile at the thought.

Picking out the outfit gave Kiseop just enough time to shower and do his hair before Jaeseop would be home and they'd go out to dinner.

And that was how Kiseop was sitting next to Soohyun and Hoon on the couch, mindlessly watching some variety game show on television. Nervous as all get out, Kiseop picked at his cuticles.

Then the door opened and Jaeseop walked in, and Kiseop just barely restrained himself from running to the rapper in nervous excitement. AJ entered the room, leaning against the door frame. "It's five, do you want to go now?" He asked the ulzzang, earning the other couple in the room's attention. Kiseop missed the wide, encouraging smile from Soohyun and the giddy grin from Hoon. Kiseop nodded, standing to get his shoes and then followed AJ out of the dorm.

He felt sick with anticipation as they began walking, "Where do you want to eat?" AJ asked as they came to the intersection and waited to cross the street.

"Mmmm, I'm feeling barbeque." Kiseop said and they began walking once more, "what about you?"

"Barbeque is all right with me." AJ smiled, seeming a little nervous to Kiseop. At least he wasn't the only one...

They walked in comfortable silence until they made it to the restaurant and were seated. Kiseop wanted so badly to ask what Jaeseop had been meaning to tell him, but he didn't want to seem pushy. So, instead he just went along with the topics AJ wanted and joked and laughed all through their meal.

By the end, their stomachs were almost bursting with food and they ran out of things to talk about. Kiseop took the silence as his opportunity to ask and get down to the reason they were on this date-but-not-date.

"Jaeseop-ah, wha-" Kiseop began.

"Want to get out of here?" AJ cut Kiseop off as he stood. Kiseop, taken back by the suddenness of AJ's actions, nodded in confusion. It was getting dark, but the streets were still as crowded as they had been, Kiseop wondered where AJ was taking him as they passed the turn towards the dorms.

After almost losing track of AJ in a rush of people crossing the street, Kiseop shyly slipped his hand into Jaeseop's. If he was asked to explain, it would be because they were such great friends, and Kiseop didn't want to get lost. Even if it made his cheeks burn from the intimate contact. But, AJ didn't ask what Kiseop was doing, he merely gave a small smile and squeezed the ulzzang's hand back.

AJ's hand that covered his own in a warmth that Kiseop could feel spreading throughout his entire body. AJ was safe. And comfortable. Even if their relationship stayed completely platonic, Kiseop figured he would be okay with it now. Because AJ had already made it clear that he was there to stay, and wanted Kiseop there at all times. That's why AJ was safe.

But, more than that, Kiseop felt completely at home whenever he was with Jaeseop and there was no better feeling than being in his precious kitty's arms. There wasn't a place in the whole world Kiseop felt more comfortable and safe than when he was encased in AJ's arms, protected from the world.

Now Kiseop really wanted a hug from the feline.

They had arrived at a park, and were walking towards a set of benches when Kiseop nudged his shoulder against Jaeseop's, his universal sign he wanted to be held.

But the rapper did no such thing and Kiseop couldn't help but pout.

AJ, at that moment, though, was too busy rehearsing his speech over and over in his head. He regretted doing this so suddenly as he didn't have anything extravagant or fancy planned. It was just him and Kiseop in a park. It wasn't until he heard the tiny 'hmph' from beside him that AJ snapped out of his trance and looked toward the sulking ulzzang.

"What?" AJ asked, knitting his eyebrows together.

"I asked what it is we are doing here." Kiseop repeated, puffing out his cheeks and plopping himself down on a bench.

Every single thought and planned word flew out of Jaeseop's head in that instant. He only looked in bewilderment at Kiseop. "I-I..." Jaeseop struggled for words. Even if he had a knack for writing lyrics, that was never like saying the words out loud to someone. Composing his love for Kiseop into words had to be the most difficult task in the world for him. Because even the most passionate and heartfelt words didn't seem to accurately represent it. They all seemed so inadequate.

Jaeseop sat beside Kiseop, feeling his legs would give out soon if he didn't. He took Kiseop's hand in his again and took a deep breath. Beside him, he felt Kiseop tense up, in fear, nervousness, or perhaps something else, AJ wasn't sure. But, he didn't move away and that was all that mattered.

"AJ? Are you going to say anything? What's wrong?" Kiseop began softly.

Letting out another breath slowly, AJ decided to just go for it. "I...I'm in love with you, Kiseop." He spoke softly, not sure if he really wanted Kiseop to hear or not. "I have been for a long time, now. Every time I hear the word friend from your mouth it pains me. It pains me because I want nothing to do with friendship when it comes to you. I want to love you without consequence, kiss you with no inhibitions. Hold you with no intentions of letting go. All my life I haven't ever been able to feel this way, except towards you." AJ couldn't gather the courage to look at the deep brown eyes staring into him. Instead, he kept his eyes trained on their hands as his thumbs rubbed small circles on Kiseop's knuckles.

"I never knew how to say it, and I still don't. I'm probably not making any sense, but I just need you to know that I love you with all my heart. It's okay..." Jaeseop almost didn't want to say what he had to next, but he couldn't just leave Kiseop with no other options but to love him. Even if any other option chosen would kill him. "It's okay if you don't love me back. Even if I'm only a friend, I want to stay by your side. If you're uncomfortable with my feelings toward you, you can-"

But AJ never got to finish what he was saying as Kiseop finally snapped out of his shock caused by Jaeseop's words.

"You love me?" Kiseop's barely restrained ecstasy caused his voice to crack, AJ mistook the break in his vocals.

"I-I won't mention it to you again, I'm sorry, Kiseop. I am just tired with living with all these unsaid words-"

"Don't be sorry." Kiseop struggled with his words now. AJ had misunderstood, and he needed to find something to make AJ understand that Kiseop was 100 percent okay with his feelings. And 100 percent willing to reciprocate them. "What are you waiting for?" Was all he could come up with.

Jaeseop stopped his flustered apology to finally look at Kiseop. "Wh-what?"

"You said you wanted to kiss me, what are you waiting for?"

"Kis-"

"I love you, too. AJ, I feel the exact same way. Whenever I had to call us friends, another hole was torn into my heart. I thought I could never have what I wanted from you, and it killed me every time I reminded myself of that fact. I only want to be by your side, only you. I tried not to love you, because it hurt. But...but it was impossible the more I realized how perfect you were for me. How completely smitten I was with you, it all wrecked my notion of not falling for you. And I did. I have been in love with you for a very, very long time."

"Yo-you have?" AJ seemed surprised by Kiseop's words. And the older boy almost didn't hear due to the pounding of his heart in his ears.

"Yeah."

Jaeseop chuckled in relief, "That's...that's wonderful."

"So kiss me." Kiseop urged.

"Kiss you?" AJ repeated, feeling butterflies erupt once more in his stomach at the words. He was in a euphoric daze he almost couldn't comprehend.

And the first brush of their lips only befuddled his brain more.

The second launched them into a surreal reality. They weren't sure if time had even managed to keep going as the world around them seemed to stop along with their thoughts and any breath they had been hoping to take. Kiseop's fingers brushed against AJ's cheeks as he let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes.

Lips molding and moving together slowly, the two lovers let themselves be caught in the tempest of sensation. Hearts pounding away in fragile ribcages, fingers tangling in soft, delicate hair, tongue pleading for entrance. Cold metal on heated skin. Everything seemed to belong to a different reality at the moment.

But, neither of them cared so long as they were together.

AJ folded Kiseop's body into his and cursed himself for waiting so long to gain this result. It was everything AJ had ever dreamed of. Everything and an infinite amount more. Kiseop made a soft noise that sounded like a mewl of sorts and pulled away, eyes half lidded and wonting.

"I'm so glad you feel the same, Jaeseop." He said softly, each word dripping with velvet care.

"How could I not fall in love with you, Kiseop, when you're so obviously perfect for me." Jaeseop replied just as emotionally.

And then they were kissing some more and losing track of the time they had completely forgotten was still passing.

When they finally did stop, the sun had completely gone down and the only lights available were the streetlights and the moon. And the moonlight illuminated Jaeseop's eyes so bright, Kiseop couldn't take his eyes away, unaware that the moon had the same effect on his.

Jaeseop was never as cheesy a guy as to stare into his lover's eyes, but he just couldn't help it at the moment. Kiseop was flawless and the blueish tint on the moon only accentuated this fact on his beautiful features.

They didn't say anything, words seemed pointless as they had said everything they needed to. And, quietly, they began their trek back to the dorms hand-in-hand, ready for a barrage of questions and giddy congratulations from the five remaining pesky members.
