Chapter Twenty: Loving More Than One.
I'm YoursEunkyung couldn’t stop staring into his eyes, Kikwang’s words echoing inside her head loudly. She didn’t notice tears flowing down her face until Kikwang had pulled her into a tight hug, wiping her tears with his thumb.
“Yah, I thought you’d be happy after I told you that,” Kikwang laughed nervously as he held Eunkyung in his arms. God, she smelt so good. Why did God have to make his best friend so beautiful?
“How could I be happy you babo.” Eunkyung cried into his chest, gripping him tighter than she ever had before. She always knew Kikwang was a big part of her, but at that very moment, she realized Kikwang was more than just a little part of her. He was so much more. As she held him like this, as she felt their racing heartbeats, as she heard him tell her he’d give her up just because he loved her, she finally realized…
That she loved him.
Realization hit her like a punch, and everything started to make sense.
Yes, she loved him. She always did…the two of them cared for each other so much they’d do anything. That’s what best friends did.
& that was probably how much they’d ever be.
Yes, Kikwang was her first love, as Eunkyung was his. First loves will always have their mark on you…but both of them knew they didn’t want to sacrifice the beautiful friendship they had. Although, if things had been different and Kikwang hadn’t gone away from her…if he had kept contact with her, they would’ve been something more. Eunkyung knew for a fact. If things had been different…
But then again, maybe it was meant to be this way. Eunkyung held tightly onto Kikwang.
“I love you.” She told him. He smiled.
“I know babo…I love you too.”
& somehow, Eunkyung no longer felt confused anymore. She finally let go of Kikwang.
“I need to see someone else right now.” Kikwang grinned.
“You should…before he goes insane.”
Junhyung couldn’t sleep. Normally after a schedule, he’d be knocked out the moment he got home. But not tonight. Like always, he couldn’t get Eunkyung out of his mind. Their argument last night had been replaying over and over again throughout this whole day, and he couldn’t help but feel very regretful for his actions. He sighed in frustration, burying his face into his pillow.
Of course he knew Eunkyung loved him. She showed him almost every time he was with her. Although she had never said it verbally, he realized he never did either. The reason he didn’t say it was because he knew Eunkyung was still not over Kikwang, and telling her he loved her would only complicate things for her.
Was his chance ruined already? It had only been a day and he already missed the feeling of her kiss, let alone her very presence. Eunkyung was the only girl in his whole life that made him so anxious…but the only girl he would ever feel crazy about. She had to be the one for him. If it wasn’t her, then it wasn’t anyone. Yet, he walked away from her last night.
Maybe she ran in the comforting arms of Kikwang. The image made him sigh in sadness, making him dig his face deeper into the depths of his pillow. Other than him, Kikwang was the only other that he could imagine Eunkyung being with. Either of them would do for her and he knew it. He wanted so badly to be the one for her...so badly.
The doorbell rang through the apartment, stirring the sleeping members around Junhyung.
“Mhh..Junhyung-ah go get the door..” Doojoon mumbled, shifting between consciousness and sleep. Sighing, Junhyung rustled out of bed and towards the door wondering what their managers could want at such a late hour.
Instead, he found a surprise at the door.
A very beautiful surprise.
“Eunkyung…” Junhyung could only stare at her. Her eyes were blazing, filled with an emotion Junhyung couldn’t quite identify.
"Yong Junhyung...we're never fighting. Never. Again."
& Without warning, she threw her arms around him and captured his lips into a hungry kiss, causing him to yelp in surprise. At first, he couldn’t quite register what was happening, but eventually closed his eyes and kissed Eunkyung back with so much passion, he didn’t know he had it in him. He loved the feeling of her slim, petite body against his, and the feeling of his fingers threading through her long silky hair. All these feelings weren’t new to him at all, yet never got old.
As Eunkyung pulled away, almost breathless, she leaned her forehead against his.
“Saranghae.” She said in a barely heard whisper. A whisper meant for Junhyung’s ears only. The sound of those words was music to his ears. He couldn’t help but feel his lips pull into a wide smile. Once more, he kissed her, sweet and softly this time, holding her face in his slightly callused hands and responded to her the words that were long overdue.
"No...I love you."
Ending! It's almost Ending! hahahaha. Soooo I was debating the whole time I wrote this if I should add some into this chapter..I mean, what's a story with Junhyung WITHOUT ? LOL soooo, next chapter, look out for it! ;)
