The girls were all ready and waiting for their dates to arrive together. Eun Neul was wearing a white dress that ended at her knees, he hugged her body perfectly and there were sparkles all over it, the straps at the back crossed over her shoulder blades revealing her toned and tanned back. She wore white high heels to match the dress, her hair was in loose curls and rested over her shoulders, her makeup was very natural looking and she had white sparkly eye make up on.
Ji Young wore a short baby blue dress that hugged her around the waist then puffed out at the bottom, the sleeves stopped half way down her arm and the back was low also showing off her toned back. She wore black heels and her hair was rested on one shoulder loosely curled.
Soo Ji was wearing a gold dress similar to Eun Neul’s but the straps were thinner, she wore gold heels to match and her hair was straight with a gold pin on the side.
Eunji was wearing a green dress that was shorter than the others, it was loose on her but it still looked good, there was a slit half way down the back of the dress which showed some of Eunji’s tan back. The dress had a cute collar and a pocket at the top.
Min Jung wore a black dress, it had one thick strap that went across her back, the dress hugged her toned body nicely, her hair was straight and tied up, she wore black heels with it.
Hyomin was the only one wearing a long dress, it was a halter neck dress, it was a creamy white, it fit her nicely and loosely dragged along the ground, she wore silver heels and her nails were painted black. Her hair was to the side and curled.
“Group photo” their manager pulled out a camera and snapped lots of photos of them, it was like he was their parent. “Don’t give me that look, your parents said I had to take lots of photos” he began taking more photos but the girls were saved by the doorbell. Hyomin answered the door and saw 8 guys plus 2 girls; she assumed they were Jr.’s and Baekho’s.
“Annyeong” she smiled letting them in. The boys walked in and went up to their dates, “You look beautiful” Dae Kyung said giving Hyomin and kiss on the cheek, Hyomin blushed feeling awkward by his sudden actions, especially in front of Baekho who didn’t seem like himself tonight. “Ren, when did you ask Eunji” Soo Ji asked, Ren shrugged “He didn’t I asked him” Eunji smiled, she then slapped Ren on the shoulder
“I thought I told you to not look prettier than me” Ren looked at his suit then back at Eunji who was laughing “I’m joking silly” Ren sighed in relief. “You look amazing” JB said hugging Ji Young. All the boys were wearing matching ties to their dates, “Jr. you didn’t tell me you were going to ask Min Li” Hyomin smiled, Jr. nodded “It was kind of a last minute thing but I said yes anyway” Min Li giggled fixing his tie,
Hyomin smiled then looked at Baekho who had isolated him and his date from everyone else. “You ready” JR asked Minjung kissing her on the forehead, “Wait just a minute” Jae Jong yelled, “First, you must have them home buy midnight, and you better not hurt them” he sternly looked at each and every guy.
“Secondly, I need photos of you all” he held up the camera, everyone groaned but bunched up. After taking millions of photos they all finally left the house and went into the limo they hired. “Don’t you think this is a little over board” Aron asked, everyone shook their head “Just relax” Soo Ji laughed, patting his knee. There was a little tension between Hyomin and Baekho but everyone tried to ignore it and have the best time they could.
The auditorium was packed and there were lights everywhere. The couples made their way inside and went to their table. They all sat down for a while before going to dance with everyone else. Hyomin and Dae Kyung stayed at the table because apparently Dae Kyung didn’t feel like dancing, Hyomin was disappointed because she really wanted to but she didn’t want to be rude and leave her date.
“So why’d you ask me to prom” Hyomin had been curious ever since he asked her, he was one of the popular kids in school, he was rich and he was captain of the soccer team, and he was a senior. So why would he pick her? Of course she was an idol but she still didn’t understand. “Why wouldn’t I ask you” Dae Kyung smiled but he didn’t even look at Hyomin when he answered, he looked around the room as if he was searching for someone,
“Well, that doesn’t really answer my question” Hyomin exclaimed, “You’re Lee Hyomin, I was surprised when you said yes. I thought someone had already asked—“Dae Kyung paused he was looking over her shoulder towards the stage, Hyomin followed his gaze but he pulled her face towards him, “Let’s dance now” he grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the dance floor. The two began dancing but she couldn’t help but feel like Dae Kyung wasn’t telling her something. The music changed to a slow song and he wrapped his arms around Hyomin’s waist, Hyomin felt uncomfortable but she placed her hands lightly on his shoulders. Half way through the song Dae Kyung left Hyomin saying he had to go to the bathroom,
Hyomin was shocked and was awkwardly standing in the middle of the dancing couples alone. She went back to her table angry at the way he was acting, Hyomin looked around to see if he had finished yet but she saw him near the punch table chatting with some girl. She watched them cautiously, they could just be class mates for all she knew, but then he leaned in and lightly kissed her on the lips. Hyomin became furious and stood up, she stormed overto the punch table and filled up her cup, Dae Kyung still hadn’t notice she was there. Hyomin tapped him on the shoulder,
“Hyomin, hey” Dae Kyung smiled; Hyomin smiled sweetly then punched him right in the gut then threw her punch in his face. Dae Kyung fell to his knees groaning in pain. “Good luck finding your own way home jerk” Hyomin walked off, she was so angry. She ran out of the main room and walked through the hallways of the school, tears falling down her cheeks.
“What was that all about” Jung Mi asked she helped Dae Kyung up, “It was nothing” Dae Kyung chuckled “Oh nothing” Jung Mi turned around and saw Baekho “Oppa” she smiled sweetly, “Don’t give me that crap, I saw you kissing him” he looked at his original date disgusted,
“And you, how dare you treat someone as wonderful as Hyomin like that” Baekho held up his fist ready to hit him, but then he realised that hitting him wasn’t going to do him any good, Baekho reluctantly dropped his hand and went after Hyomin. He ran through the halls looking for her but he couldn’t see her anywhere.
He went outside and it was empty, it began to rain lightly, Baekho was about to walk inside when he saw Hyomin sitting on the concrete blocks near the soccer field. Baekho quietly walked up to her, he could hear her crying he was angry she was crying over a jerk like him. “Here” Baekho took off his jacket and put it over Hyomin’s shoulders, Hyomin looked up surprised to see him of all people here with her.
She covered her face hiding her red eyes, “Don’t worry, you look fine” Baekho smiled, Hyomin pouted “Why didn’t I see this coming” she sighed, “Don’t blame yourself, it was that jerks fault” Baekho put his arm over Hyomin’s shoulder and gave her a soft squeeze, Hyomin rested her head on his shoulder feeling more comfortable than she did with Dae Kyung. “Shouldn’t you be inside with your date” Hyomin sighed, Baekho laughed
“My date was the one making out with yours, so I guess we both got fooled” Hyomin was shocked, she didn’t even notice it was his date. “I’m sorry” Hyomin whispered, “For what? It wasn’t your fault” Baekho chuckled, “And anyway, now that you don’t have a date. Will you go to the prom with me” Hyomin stood up and sighed “I’m sick of this prom, it’s been nothing but drama and tears” she pouted, Baekho stood up and grabbed both her hands then wrapped them around his neck,
“Then at least share the rest of this dance with me and we can walk back in there completely date free” Hyomin smiled and the two slow danced to the loud music coming from inside, Hyomin rested her head on his shoulder and Baekho wrapped his arms around her waist softly. It was nice and quiet as they danced only the sound of rain falling over them. The song finished but they both kept dancing, Hyomin pulled away from Baekho and smiled at him,
“Thank you” Hyomin whispered, Baekho’s expression turned serious as he caressed her face, Hyomin put her hand over his not wanting him to move the warmth of his hand away from her cold, tear stained cheeks. Baekho slowly leaned in and softly kissed Hyomin on the lips, when they kissed it was if they were the only two left, everything was blocked out for that short moment. It was as if they were in their own little drama when the two main characters finally confess to each other and to make things more romantic they kiss in the middle of the rain.
Once the kiss ended the hugged and they could hear everyone inside cheering as if they all saw them, but then Hyomin remembered Ren and Eunji’s dance. Hyomin grabbed Baekho’s hand and they ran inside, they had missed it. Minjung, JR, Soo Ji and Aron saw the two run inside holding hands and their faces lit up.
“Did we miss it” Hyomin asked, Minjung nodded still smirking, “And it looks like we missed this” she looked at Baekho and Hyomin’s hands intertwined, Hyomin grinned then blushed “Hush you” she pushed on Min Jung’s shoulder making them all laugh. Eunji and Ren came back to the table, they all clapped for them.
“This girl is an amazing dancer” Ren said putting his arm around Eunji’s waist and pulling her closer to him, everyone saw this and exchanged looks. “Looks like there’s a bug going around” JB exclaimed “yeah, a love bug” JR yelled making everyone laugh.
“So wait you’re telling me that we all—“Eun Neul didn’t have to finish her sentence for everyone to know. “I guess this was our fate” Minhyun said putting his arm over Eun Neul’s shoulder. They all had a good time the rest of the night forgetting about Dae Kyung and Jung Mi.
“I feel like the outcast seeming I’m not an idol” Min Li laughed, Hyomin put her hand on hers and smiled “Don’t, you are officially a new member of our little group of friends” Min Li smiled it was only fair now that her and Jr. were a couple. The only trouble was, now they all had to either announce it to the media and fans or have a secret relationship.
