“yah! Cry baby! Let’s go!” I saw a little girl dragging the little boy. They’re in the playground at the park, the girl kicked some sand in the sand box while waiting for the little boy. The boy is hugging his kneed while crying.

“W-where are we going?” the boy asked while wiping his tears

“Somewhere enchanted” the little girl smiled sweetly to the boy, in a split second the boy stopped crying and smiled back.

Somewhere enchanted? Is that the lake where Byunghun brought me earlier?

I tried to follow the children to the enchanted place. The girl walked so fast leaving the boy behind panting.

“yah! Cry baby! Hurry up! or we’re going to be late!” the boy clenched his chest while his other hand was supporting himself on the tree..

“Yah! Yuni! Do you want me to die????!!” the girl just struck her tongue out playfully and smiled that the boy, she walked towards him and she dragged him with her.

“hurry up slowpoke.. walk now.. Complain later.. I don’t want to be late okay?”

So that Little girl is… me? A smile crept on my face… and that little boy is Ljoe? He is such a weakling…kekeke…

I watched how the little me dragged the little Ljoe to the enchanted place, there were bickering, slapping and laughing… so… this was me and Ljoe before? We seem to be good friends…

Then when the little me removed some of the bushes on the way, it revealed the “enchanted place”

“w~~aaaa…. Yah! Park Yuni! Is this some kind of a joke????” Ljoe crossed his arms and glared at the little me… It was the most beautiful place Ive ever seen before, what does he mean by that? I walked closer to see what he means.

My jaw dropped once I saw what Ljoe meant, the place was a wreck: tall weeds sprouting everywhere, crickets jumping at every direction, the rocks are moldy… it was very far from what I saw earlier… what happened?

“Just wait ok?” The little me said as she was dragging Ljoe near the big rocks to sit

“you said this is an enchanted place” Ljoe crossed his arms arguing at me…

“it is.. Just.. Just be quiet ok?” The little me said but didn’t look at Ljoe, instead she seems to be looking at something at the tall grass…

A few moments something came out of the tall grass..

“Fireflies” a smile crept from Ljoe’s face..

“uh…hu..” the little me smiled in agreement…

Then the two went down from the big rock and started to play…

After a while the two sat on the edge of the lake playing with the water…

“Yuni? How did you know this place?”

Suddenly Yuni’s eyes became teary…

“My dad and I used to come here every Saturday night to play with the fireflies…

“what happened?”

“he… he died in a car accident last year…”

“I’m so sorry Yuni..”

The little me shook her head and gave a warm smile to Ljoe…

“don’t be… he’s now in a better place, happy and contented…”

Ljoe nodded

“This place was our little kingdom, but since dad died no one took care of it… I went back here to cut some weeds but I cant do it all by myself…”

Then suddenly Ljoe stood up and helped the little me to stand up…

“Then, Ill help you to rebuild it again…”

“you would?”

Ljoe nodded

“Im your king and you’ll be my queen, ok?”

Then the little me nodded happily and both of them pinky promised

No one’s POV

While Yuni was having her dream, Myungsoo saw everything in her mind… he felt broken inside but what could he do? Ljoe was part of her past too…

A tear fell from his eyes, he hugged Yuni tighter and kissed her forehead

“Please, don’t leave me Yuni… Please…”
