When Jisoo and Taehyung finally arrived at the classroom, most everyone was already in their seats. Taehyung pulled Jisoo towards her seat, their hands still intertwined. He pulled out her chair for her and once she had comfortably sat down, he finally went to go take his seat, which was in front of her. Jisoo could feel the stares on her from the other girls within the classroom: this was a daily occurrence. She knew most of those girls thought that she and Taehyung were dating. Taehyung had never corrected them because, for him, it was a convenient way to prevent those girls from hitting on him. She had never corrected them because a part of her wanted to believe that their thoughts were true. If only.

Jisoo was pulled out of her thoughts when the teacher, Mrs. Kim, walked into the classroom. It is only after the entire class had greeted her that Jisoo noticed the tall girl standing behind Mrs. Kim. 

"Class, We have a new student. Go ahead and introduce yourself."

The young girl stepped foreword a bit, and bowed. 

"Hello, My name is Mina. I am 18 years old and I recently moved here from the United States. Please take care of me."

Jisoo could not help but stare at the girl in awe. She was so pretty. Just by looking at her, it was easy to tell that she was someone who had definitely been born into a good gene pool. Mina was a natural beauty. She had straight brown hair and a face that would be envied by the gods. The smile that she had on her face only seemed to intensify her beauty. Who would I have to kill to get looks like that? It was not that Jisoo was ugly, she knew that she could be cute, however, she also knew that Mina was good looking in a different way. Mina's beauty had a sense of maturity. She is what guys, Jisoo supposed, would call y, not cute. 

"Thank you Mina, now, you can go take a seat next to Taehyung. Taehyung, can you raise your hand so she knows which one you are?"

Taehyung raised his hand and seeing it, Mina walked over. As she did, Jisoo noticed something; Taehyung's head seemed to be following Mina as she moved. In fact, Mina's eyes were locked on Taehyung as well. Jisoo could feel an uneasy feeling forming in the pit of her stomach. Why do I suddenly feel like telling Tae to look away from her. For Jisoo, this was a completely new feeling. Never in her relationship with Taehyung had she ever felt so uneasy by him giving attention to another woman. What is it about this girl that is making me so uneasy?

As she was lost in her thoughts, Mina had finally sat down in her seat. Taehyung was quick to turn to her. "Hi, I'm Taehyung. Welcome to Korea." As he spoke, there was a smile on Taehyung's face. Jisoo had never seen that smile before. She had known Taehyung longer than anybody within that classroom. She was familiar with all his faces. She knew what face he pulled when he was stressed or angry. She knew what he looked like when he was happy. But this, this was new to her. She had never seen that smile on his face before. 

"Hi. I am Mina...but you probably already knew that considering you just watched me introduce myself, but I suppose it's only right that I do it again, considering that you just introduced yourself. It would have felt unnatural if I didn't introduce myself...again that is...oh god, I am rambling. I'm so sorry. I will just stop now."

Taehyung laughed at Mina's behavior. "It's okay.It's cute." Directly after he said that, in response, Mina's cheeks started to redden.

Jisoo watched the whole scene play out from behind the pair. Cute? The only person that Taehyung had ever called cute before was her. Now, he was calling some girl that he just met cute. The uneasy feeling that had been in her stomach had just gotten so much worse. Now, she just felt sick. She felt like her best friend was being taken away from her. Jisoo, genuinely, felt threatened by Mina presence. She was well aware that maybe she was reading too much into it, but she still felt scared for some reason.

It's okay. It's okay Jisoo. No one starts dating after the first meeting. You are just overreacting. Taehyung is probably just being nice. You know that he is a nice guy. Yeah, that's probably it. He just doesn't want to be rude.

Jisoo tried her best to calm herself down, however, her efforts were in vain. Nothing seemed to work. She could do nothing but sit there, notebook open in front of her, watching as Taehyung and Mina looked at each other and s
