"What are you talking about?"
At the sound of the third voice, both Jisoo and Mina turned to face the door where it had come from. Upon seeing who it was, Jisoo's eyes widened. There at the door which leads onto the rooftop stood Taehyung. Jisoo couldn't help but feel mortified thinking about the last thing that she had blurted out. How long has he been standing there? How much did he hear? She really hoped that he didn't hear the last thing she said, but judging by the look on his face that hope quickly went away. Taehyung looked slightly shocked as well as confused. It was embrassing enough that she blurted it out in front of Mina, but she didn't know if she could bear the thought of Taehyung knowing as well. She hadn't ever wanted to tell him about what had happened on Saturday, but now, it might be too late.
Seeing the girl stunned in her spot, Taehyung's eyes never left Jisoo's. Walking towards her, Taehyung stopped a few feet away. He had completely forgotten that Mina was there as well, his attention only on his best friend and recently discovered love interest. He had gotten tired of waiting for Jisoo, patience had never been his strongest suit, and so he had gone looking for her. His search had lead him to the rooftop where he saw that she was talking to Mina. At first he had thought it odd that she would be talking to his ex-girlfriend but when he heard his name in the conversation, his intrest had been peaked. Mina had been talking about how it was obvious to her that Taehyung was in love with her. As she described his behavior over the past days, he couldn't help but finally feel something click within him.
That strange feeling he got whenever Daehyun was around Jisoo and the need to pull her away from him, his absolute adamance that he couldn't let her believe that he had kissed her to try and get over Mina, and the realization that he could live without other people but he could never live without her in his life, she just meant to much to him, it all started to make sense. Hearing Mina describe that feeling as love, Taehyung finally had a word to encapsulate that emotion and provide a justification for his actions. But when he heard her say something about this Saturday, his attention had drifted away from his epiphany to focus, once again on the pair having a conversation on the rooftop. Saturday? Wasn't that when she started acting weird around me? Before he knew it, he had spoken, his voice getting the attention of both of the girls.
"T-Tae, w-what are you doing here? How long have yoou been standing there?" Jisoo's voice was shaking from the shock of seeing him standing in front of her, staring directly at her in such an intense manner. Taehyung ignored her questions. He chose, instead, to reiterate his own.
"What were you talking about, Kwon Jisoo? What happened on Saturday?" His voice was authoritative and demanding.
He was someone who meant to get answers. The voice combined with his gaze made Jisoo squirm in her spot. Mina, who had still been standing there with the pair had been completely forgotten about by both of them. She had a small smile on her face, looking between both Taehyung and Jisoo. It hurt her to see them together, but she knew this was how it was meant to be. Without saying a word, she walked away from them and back out the rooftop door, leaving them behind. Taehyung was there now and she expected him to work things out with Jisoo. As she thought the words, they hurt her, but she knew that this was the way of the universe. Taehyung was not supposed to be with her. He was supposed to be Jisoo.
Back on the rooftop, neither Taehyung nor Jisoo spoke. Both of them staring at one another without saying a word. Taehyung was waiting for Jisoo to finally cave in and give him an explanation and Jisoo was still frozen from the shock of Taehyung having heard her that she physically couldn't get to work.
"Jisoo, I'm not going to let you leave until you tell me. What did I do on Saturday to make you change so much around me? What did you mean when you said that I called out Mina's name not yours? When did I do that?"
Jisoo could see in his eyes that Taehyung would not give up. He was determined to get an answer and until he did so, neither of them would be able to leave. She bit her lower lip in disconcertion, not knowing what to do or say to get out of it. Knowing Taehyung, he probably wouldn't allow her to get out of the situation without getting his answers. Letting out a sigh, she knew that she had no choice but to tell him the whole truth. Looking down at the floor, she confessed.
"Y-you remember when we came home from Lotte World?" She pa
