The sunlight was the first thing that Jisoo registered before a force slammed into her body, jolting her from where she had been sleeping. Still somewhat groggy from her own sleep, she barely had time to catch Jiyeon before she toppled off of the bed. When she had her body firmly locked tight against hers, she finally breathed as Jiyeon giggled, as though Jisoo had just told some funny joke.

“Eomma, do that again,” Jiyeon said with a smile on her face.

“Don’t you ever scare Eomma like that again. What have I told you about jumping on our bed like that,” Jisoo tried to keep her voice strict as she scolded the child, but the relief in her voice prevented that from happening. If anything, it had the opposite effect as Jiyeon just once again giggled. Jiyeon was nothing if not a happy child. Her laughter was one of Jisoo’s favorite things. When she laughed, became a square shape and she resembled her father more than ever.

Speaking of Jiyeon’s father, Jisoo could feel Taehyung shifting in his spot on their bed. His hands came out to wrap around her waist but when he hit her shoulder instead, he opened his eyes to look and see why she wasn’t still sleeping. When he saw Jiyeon on her lap, he understood. Seating up on the bed, Taehyung smiled over at Jiyeon reaching over to take her from Jisoo.

Jiyeon seeing that her father was awake, quickly ditched her mother and crawled over to her fathers side of the bed, cuddling up to him. When Jisoo saw the both of the together, she couldn’t help but smile. The two of them were so much alike that it scared her sometimes. Not only did Jiyeon look like Taehyung but she behaved like him too. She was always looking at the bright side of things and trying her best to make others happy.

Leaving the both of them to their own private moment, Jisoo got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. After properly brushing her teeth and taking a ten minute shower, she walked back out. Looking over to where the father-daughter duo lay, she noticed that they had once again fallen asleep, with Jiyeon practically splaying her body across Taehyungs. The sight brought a smile to her face.

Walking out of the room, Jisoo walked into the room that was directly across from her and Taehyungs. Turning open the door, she walked directly to the crib that was at the far end of the wall. Walking over to it, she noticed its current occupant was currently awake. When she was standing in front of the crib, Taesung looked up at her and smiled. He had just grow
