When Jisoo woke up the next morning, the first thing she registered was the arm that was loosely thrown over her waist. Looking slightly to her left, she saw Taehyung’s face buried in her shoulder, his breath hitting her neck. She couldn’t help but smile. This was a sight that she wanted to wake up to every morning. You know that that is not possible. That thought wiped away the smile on her face, reminding her that today was supposed to be the final day. Today was the day that she broke up with Taehyung in order to protect him from hurting even more.
Shifting the cover slightly away from her body, she moved slightly out of Taehyung’s grasp just so she could put on a shirt and get out of bed. However, the arm around her tightened, preventing her from moving any further.
“Don’t you know that it isn’t nice to disturb someone when they are sleeping? Especially when you’re the reason that they fell asleep so late.” Taehyung’s voice startled Jisoo causing her to almost fall out of the bed and land face first onto the floor. She would have to, if it weren’t for Taehyung tightening his arms to prevent the fall and the inevitable hurt that would have accompanied said fall.
Taehyung chuckled at seeing her reaction when he startled her. He pulled her bare body closer and cuddled up to her once more, not letting her leave his bed. “You are so cute, you know that.”
“I should probably go and make breakfast.” Jisoo knew that if she stayed in the room than everything would become more complicated later on. She was already having a hard time thinking that in a few hours her and Taehyung would be no more but if they continued to be so lovey dovey with each other than the pain would be worse for both of them.
Taehyung tightened his grip on her once more and again buried his face in her neck. He placed a small kiss to her neck, something which sent a shiver down her spine. God, she would miss moments like this. It seemed like they had so little time together and she wished that they had more. “Stay with me, Soo.”
Those words broke her heart. She knew that what she was about to do would break his as well but she also didn’t want him to suffer because of stupid rumors that their classmates were spewing. She didn’t want him to get hurt by the words of other people and she didn’t know how else to help except to take away the one thing that seemed to be the cause of those hateful words, their relationship. Taehyung’s last utterance had hurt her, but what he said next shocked her.
“Don’t break up with me.” At those words, Jisoo froze in his arms. What is he talking about? Does he know? He can’t possibly know. Jisoo had thought that she had more time to spend with him before she would have to break up with him. She especially hadn’t imagine talking about this with him when they were both barely clothed.
“Tae-Taehyung-ah, what are you talking about?”
Taehyung chuckled, but it wasn’t the amused chuckle that she was used to hearing coming from him. No, this chuckle was much more darker. There was nothing amusing about it. In fact, the chuckle seemed to be almost mocking in Jisoo’s opinion.
“I know you better than anyone else, Kwon Jisoo. Did you really think I wouldn’t figure out that something was wrong? Especially since you were
