Lee Saerin, the new maid

I decided to change things up a bit. I wrote in third person this chapter, I hope you all don't mind. Also, sorry for disappearing. I didn't really know what to do next so... I was stuck for a while. I'm still stuck, but I'm thinking harder and I felt really bad for not updating and... I will not delete this story, so give me encouragement and comment. Tell me what I can do better, if it's okay.. You know that good stuff. I hope you enjoy this chapter. I know it's not much, but I promise it will become more interesting! Okay enough author talk. ENJOY! >~<

Saerin woke up the next morning and rubbed her eyes. The clock next to her read 6:45. So early... she grumbled to herself and blinked her eyes lazily. Well, might as well get up, she thought, I could help out around the house before I have to leave for school. Saerin got up and washed up, putting on her school uniform in the process. After patting down her skirt, she made her way downstairs to the kitchen. She made herself and small breakfast and planned on making the family some later. She ate in silence and enjoyed the quietness of the house. Smiling, she put her plate in the sink, only to bump into someone. “Oof.” she said.

“Saerin? What are you doing up so early?” Mr. Jo had a surprised look on his face.

“Good morning,” Saerin bowed slightly and smiled, “ I woke up and couldn’t fall back asleep.”

Mr. Jo chuckled, “I see. Well, how about some breakfast?” Mr. Jo led Saerin to the dining table and began to look through the fridge.

“That won’t be needed. I made some for myself already. How about you take a seat and I make you some. It is my job after all.” Saerin led Mr. Jo to the dining table and gently sat him down. He let out another laugh and nodded. “What would you like?”

“Anything would be fine.” Mr. Jo smiled.

“How about an omelet?” Saerin suggested.

“That sounds good! Make omelets!” he nodded.

“Yes, sir.” Saerin jokingly saluted. She got to work right away and began to mix the eggs. The time was now 7:25. The rest of the family and maids should be waking soon. Saerin added more eggs to the bowl to make omelets for the rest of the family. When everyone came down, they smelled her omelets and put smiles on their faces.

“Saerin! You made all of these?” Jiyune gasped.

“Yup! Sit sit! I’ll bring them to you soon.” Saerin pushed her unnies out of the kitchen. Kwangmin appeared and hugged Saerin from the back.

“Good morning,” he hummed lazily with his chin on her shoulder.

“Good morning.” she smiled, beginning to fold the egg.

“Why did you get up so early? You should’ve slept more.” Kwangmin mumbled sleepily.

“Yeah, says you. I couldn’t fall back asleep, so I just got up. What time did you sleep yesterday?” Saerin asked.

“I slept at 2,” Kwangmin yawned, “Why?”

“Bad boy!” Saerin hit Kwangmin’s hand that was wrapped around his waist. “Why did you sleep so late?”

“Homework and stuff.”

“But it was the first day of school yesterday...” Saerin’s voice trailed off.

“I procrastinated... A lot.” Kwangmin said honestly. Saerin shook her head but giggled.

“You’re so silly. Hurry and sit. I’ll bring the omelets out.” She unwrapped his arms from her waist.

“Not after I get a morning kiss.” He pouted, his eyes barely open. Saerin sighed and pressed the back of her fist against his lips. “Hey! That wasn’t--”

“Goooo Kwangmin.” she pushed him out.

Once done with all the omelets, she placed a couple plates on a serving tray. “Breakfast everyone!” she sang in a silly manner. Saerin served the family first, giving a plate to Mr. and Mrs. Jo, along with the twins. Then she served the maids. They ate the omelet and smiled gleefully.

“This is delicious, Saerin! How’d you get the omelet to be so fluffy?” Mrs. Jo complimented.

“Uh.. I don’t know? I just made it.” Saerin shrugged.

“Well you’re an amazing cook. Thanks for the food!” Mrs. Jo happily ate another part of her omelet.

“I’m glad you all like it!” Saerin smiled and checked the time. “Youngmin, Kwangmin, hurry! We have to leave soon.” she said and went to get her backpack. The twins finished quickly and went to get their backpacks as well. “We’ll be back. Bye!” Saerin bowed to the people still eating and walked out to the car. The twins smiled sweetly at her before bowing and going to the car as well.

Once they arrived at school, they exited the black, shiny car and headed towards the grand building. “I’m still not used to the idea of school...” Saerin said to herself, but the twins heard and chuckled. They both reached up to pat her head, but stopped when they saw their brother’s hand. Clearing their throats, they put their hands down and walked after Saerin who had started going to her locker.

The trio walked to their first period and sat in their seats. They were getting out their materials until a hand slammed onto Youngmin’s desk causing them all to jump. “Yo.”

“Oh? Seowoon-ssi!” Youngmin smiled brightly at the girl.

“Drop the honorifics. It makes me feel older than I already am.” Seowoon grumbled.

“Yes m’am!” Youngmin smiled. Kwangmin facepalmed and Seowoon sighed. This derp, Saerin thought.

“Anyways, mind introducing me to your friends?” Seowoon smiled at Saerin and Kwangmin.

“Yeah! Seowoon, this is my twin Kwangmin and his girlfriend, Saerin. Kwangmin, Saerin, this is my new friend Seowoon.” Youngmin introduced.

“Where’d you meet her?” Kwangmin asked.

“At.. At a.. At a...” Youngmin couldn’t say.

“A....?” Kwangmin pushed.

“A hmmmar.” Youngmin put a hand over his mouth and pretended to wipe something off it.

“A hammar?” Saerin asked.

“He met me at a bar.” Seowoon answered.

“What were you doing at a bar?!” Saerin said rather loudly, causing the class to look at them. “Oops sorry.”

“Minwoo dragged me there because...” Youngmin again, couldn’t say.

“Because this guy was so bored.” Seowoon covered for him. He looked at her with a look of thanks and she nodded.

“You’re bored, so you decide to go clubbing. Boy, you’re not even legal!” Kwangmin said in disbelief.

“Anyways!” Seowoon ends the conversation about the club, “Bottom line, Youngmin made a new friend and that’s me. It’s nice to meet you.”

“It’s nice to meet you too!” Saerin smiled brightly.

BRRRINNNGGG!!!

The teacher entered and the class immediately quieted down. “I gotta go. See you guys later!” Seowoon smiled and ran out of the classroom.

“Well she seems like a fun person.” Saerin remarked.

“Yeah.” Youngmin agreed.
