KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!

The knocks got louder and louder as my brothers, sisters, and I hid in our closet in a room.

"Miss, if you don't open this door I will open it with force." a man said. I didn't move, still holding my siblings in my arms. "Miss, please. We do not want to hurt you. Open the door now or we will have no choice but to use force!" the man got louder. I slowly let go of my siblings and headed for the door with baby steps. My whole body was shaking and I'm sure my siblings were just as scared as I was.

I headed for the door and placed my hand on the door handle. My hand was shaking rapidly now, but I took a deep breath and opened the door just a crack. "H-h-hello." I stuttered out.

"Hello." a man in a black suit greeted me.

"W-What do y-you want with m-my siblings and me? We haven't done anything wrong..." I barely whispered the last part.

"We know that," the man said, "But we've come to take them away for a good reason." he said.

"A good reason?! These are my siblings! You can't just take them away from me!" Tears started to form in my eyes.

"We're sorry, but that's what we've been ordered to do. The government is worried about them and how they're living. We're not saying you're not doing a good job taking care of them. It's just that they need to be in a better living environment." he explained.

"B-but... What about me?" I asked.

"You're old enough to be starting college so that's what you should do. Now... May you bring your siblings to me?" the man put his hand out.

"I-I... I can't." I sighed. "They're my only family. Please don't take them from me!" I cried.

"Miss, if you keep crying we're going in."

"But sir! Please! I beg of you! Talk to the government or your boss! Don't take them from me!"

The man ignored me and walked right into my tiny apartment. I started pulling at his hands and clothes but he didn't budge. Tears were falling down my cheeks now and I was hiccuping. The men in black suits started searching the different rooms. My siblings must've been so scared. I ran for the room they were hiding in and blocked the door with my hands.

"Move aside, Miss." I shook my head. "Alright then." He grabbed my shouders and pulled me away from the door. The man opened it loudly and scared my siblings.

"UNNIE!"

"NOONA!!!" My siblings shouted together while crying. They ran past the large man and into my arms and wept. I cried with them as I pat their backs.

Squatting down, I said, "I think it's best if you go. I want you guys to live better. I'm sure they will find good foster homes for you guys."

"But unnie--"

"No buts," I cut her off, "Follow the men out. Don't worry and live well. When the time comes, just remember that I will come find you. Wait for me." They all nodded and hugged me. I wiped their tears and watched them follow the men out.

I had six siblings in total. Three boys and three girls, ages 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 6. I, Saerin, am 17 years old. My parents dissapeared when I was young. Maybe they're dead, maybe they're alive, I don't know, but since they disappeared, I took care of my siblings. It's been like that for years.

But now, what do I do? I don't have family anymore. Where do I go?
