Chapter 20

There was an awkward atmosphere around the two as they sat together at Junhoe’s car. Haeun didn’t talk much after the ‘incident’ from earlier. She didn’t even sit with him at the bus earlier, she chose to sit with Ten instead.

Haeun looked around the window and noticed the car passed the way going to her house. She became aware and was about to question his driver why till Junhoe talked first, “We’re going to the new apartment. You’re living next to us.” He looked at her with a soft smile.

“Why didn’t they ride along?” she asked with her voice low. “They used Donghyuk’s car. They’re right behind us.” He answered her as he pointed at the rear-view mirror, for her to check.

She hummed in response, breaking their eye contact to which made him sigh. He did notice the change of her behavior when he kissed her. She became awkward with him. It was the first time she was this awkward with him and he didn’t like it, so he decided to settle this, “Haeun, I-“

“Sir Junhoe, we’re here.” His driver cut him as he parked the car out of the apartment. Junhoe nodded and went out from the car ready to open the door to Haeun’s side but she beat him to it as she opened the door by herself.

His driver took their bags and was about to follow them till Junhoe said it was fine and he took the bags with him. She insisted to carry her own bag but Junhoe said he will, so she said nothing else since he was a stubborn person.

They took the elevator and went first to the guys’ apartment since Haeun had no idea what was her code to her apartment nor she had any keys.

“Haeunnie! How have you been?” Jinhwan excitedly greeted her with a tight hug. “I’m fine, where’s Hanbin?”

“Haeun!-“ Hanbin smiled seeing her as he came out from his bedroom which he shared with. Before he could have asked her more she cut him, “I’m tired. Can we go?”
