That morning Jeonghan woke up to the sound of his alarm, not a good start to his day.

 

Why didn’t I remember to turn that off!! Jeonghan yelled inside his head

 

He checked his phone and saw that it was 5:32 am

 

We have this week off of school and I keep on forgetting to turn off my alarm!! I should try to fall back asleep

And neglect me?

Jeonghan got out of bed, he felt good that he was going to do something for Seungcheol, he couldn’t wait to see the smile on Seungcheol’s face when he’d see that Jeonghan made food for him.

 

Jeonghan walked across the tile floor dreading every second of it because he didn’t have socks and the floor was COLD. I should really go back to the room to get some socks but what if I wake him up?

 

Jeonghan decided to brave it and walk on the floor without socks. The fridge seemed like miles away even though it was only a few feet from where he was standing.

 

“Let’s see, we need cherries and pancake batter” Jeonghan said to himself as he rummaged through the fridge.

 

I found the cherries but there is no pancake batter. Only flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, milk, eggs and butter. I’ll google homemade pancake batter.

 

Jeonghan googled “pancake batter recipe” and found all the ingredients for the pancake batter.

 

Ahh, why is it so hard to make? Jeonghan attempted to stir the ingredients together like the instructions told him to do but he spilled a little bit of batter on the counter.

 

Why did I even think of this Jeonghan thought as he poured the batter into the pan. These pancakes are going to be terrible

 

After burning most of the pancakes, Jeonghan managed to make a few that looked good enough to eat.

 

He put them on the table and then he went over to his room, Seungcheol was still asleep

 

“Wake up!!!” Jeonghan yelled

 

“Wha?” Seungcheol mumbled, his morning voice evident

 

“I made you something” Jeonghan said

 

“Really?” Seungcheol asked, a smile appeared on his face

 

“Yes, come on, they’re going to get cold” Jeonghan said as he pulled Seungcheol out of bed, the covers were up to his neck so he didn’t notice that Seungcheol was shirtless

 

“Why aren’t you wearing a shirt?” Jeonghan asked

 

“It was hot so I took it off”

 

“Oh” Jeonghan said as he dragged Seungcheol to the kitchen “I made you pancakes”

 

Seungcheol looked at the pancakes and then at Jeonghan. Jeonghan was looking at his toes, smiling bashfully.

 

Seungcheol hooked his finger under Jeonghan’s chin and brought it up so that Jeonghan was looking straight into his eyes.

 

“Thank you” Seungcheol said, Jeonghan blushed again “I really appreciate this”

 

“You don’t know if they’re any good” Jeonghan said and Seungcheol smiled

 

“I don’t care if they taste terrible, since you made them, they mean a lot” Seungcheol said

 

“Thanks” Jeonghan said “let’s eat”

“Seungcheol,”Jeonghan said as he looked up from his plate of cherry pancakes “tomorrow is new years eve”

 

“I know” Seungcheol responded, he was pretty excited for new years

 

“And we don’t have any decorations” Jeonghan said

 

“Umm”

 

“Are we going to make directions?” Jeonghan asked, he had a poker face on

 

But I don’t want to. I’ll do it for Jeonghan. “Yeah”

 

“When?”

 

“Later” Seungcheol said, he was reluctant to make the decorations, he was to lazy and really bad at arts and crafts to even try.

“Ok, the video said to first fold the paper into zig zag folds” said Jeonghan

 

“What does that even mean?” Seungcheol asked, he was extremely lost

 

“Like the folds you make when you make a paper fan” Jeonghan explained

 

“Oh” Seungcheol said and he proceeded to do that

 

“Now, we should tie it in the middle” Jeonghan instructed as he did that

 

“Kay” Seungcheol kind of understood that

 

“Now, we need to spread it all out”

 

“Both sides?” Seungcheol asked

 

“Yes” Jeonghan said “and then tape everything together so it will stay together”

 

“This is really confusing” Seungcheol said

 

“No, it’s pretty simple” Jeonghan said

 

“Angel,” Seungcheol said “I am more confused than a duck”

 

“Duck?”

 

“Yea, duck”

 

“Oh, well I don’t think that it’s too hard” Jeonghan said

 

“That's because you’re amazing at these types of things, unlike me” Seungcheol said and sulked

 

“Should we take a break?” asked Jeonghan

 

“Please” Seungcheol said “I need one”

 

“Ok, where should we go to?” Jeonghan asked

 

“To the cinema, then the arcade” Seungcheol eagerly said

 

“Sure” Jeonghan agreed “Just let me get my phone first and then we can go”

“Hannie, why is it taking you so long to get your phone?” asked Seungcheol

 

“I”m getting dressed!!” Jeonghan yelled from their shared room “wait a bit!!”

 

“If you don’t come out in the next five minutes, then I’ll come in and help you get dressed” Seungcheol said

 

“I don’t know what to wear Cheollie” Jeonghan whined, Seungcheol would sense the pout on Jeonghan’s face

 

“I”m coming in” Seungcheol announced

 

Thankfully, Jeonghan was wearing clothing, well, it was hard to tell since he was hiding under a blanket.

 

“Why don’t you wear jeans and a tshirt or something?” Seungcheol asked

 

“I don’t feel like it” Jeonghan said from under the cover

 

Hmm, maybe he will wear one of my old shirts, it would definitely look good on him.

 

Seungcheol went to his closet and pulled out an orange shirt that had 1 line going around each sleeve. It was too small to fit his arms but he thought that it would fit Jeonghan perfectly. Well, maybe it would be a bit big.

 

Seungcheol then went to Jeonghan and picked out some overalls, he thought that they would look really good with that shirt. He looked closely at the overalls and saw that a small cherry was stitched on the front pocket. Of course it has a cherry on it, it’s Jeonghan’s afterall

 

“Angel, I’m done picking out your clothes” Seungcheol said “you can come out of that blanket now”

 

“I can’t” Jeonghan said

 

“Why not?” Seungcheol asked “are you stuck or something?”

 

“Umm, I’m not completely decent” Jeonghan mumbled

 

“What?” Seungcheol asked

 

“If you don’t want to see me in my underwear, then you should get out right now” Jeonghan said

 

Seungcheol blushed, he didn’t want to make Jeonghan uncomfortable so he left the room immediately.

 

After a few minutes of waiting, Jeonghan came out of the room looking like a supermodel in Seungcheol’s eyes

 

“Thanks Cheol” Jeonghan said as he hugged Seungcheol

 

“You’re welcome angel,” replied Seungcheol “now, let’s go!!”

Seungcheol grabbed his jacket and keys and then they left to go to the cinema.

 

“What should we watch?” Seungcheol asked

 

“Ghostbusters!!” Jeonghan yelled, he liked that movie almost as much as he liked bambi (A/N: and cherries lol)

 

“Ok” Seungcheol looked at the movie times and he saw that they were going to play ghostbusters (the older one) in a few minutes

 

“Cheol, I’ll get the popcorn and you can grab the seats” Jeonghan said

 

Instantly, Seungcheol had a flashback to when they went to the movies with Jisoo and Jeonghan and Jisoo came back with matching crotch stains after getting popcorn.

 

“I’ll get the popcorn” Seungcheol said “since you seem really eager to see the movie” not because I was reminded about the crotch stains

 

“Ok, but be quick” Jeonghan said as he ran to the ticket booth

 

“Excuse me sir” said the girl behind the counter “what would you like?”

 

“Let’s see” Seungcheol said and he pretended to look at the menu even though he already knew what he wanted “I’ll get a large popcorn and a cherry soda”

 

“Ok” the girl behind the counter said “will that be all?”

 

“Yes” Seungcheol said

 

“That’ll be 10 dollars please”

 

“Ok,” Seungcheol said as he took his wallet out of his jacket pocket

 

“Was that your boyfriend?” the girl asked

 

“Yeah” Seungcheol responded

 

“You guys are a cute couple. I like your couple outfits” said the girl as she gestured to Seungcheol’s orange shirt and his jeans

 

“Ahh, thank you” Seungcheol said and he smiled

 

“You’re welcome” she said as she handed the drink and popcorn over to Seungcheol.

 

Seungcheol left her and walked into the theatre where they were showing ghostbusters, to his relief, the previews weren’t over and as he looked up at the seats, he saw jeonghan smiling and waving to him.

 

He is so beautiful, I would do anything to see him like this every day.

 

Seungcheol climbed up the stairs to the top row and took a seat next to Jeonghan

 

“Here’s the popcorn and a cherry soda for you” Seungcheol said as he handed the said items to Jeonghan

 

“Just 1 popcorn?” Jeonghan asked

 

“Yeah, it’s cheaper than buying 2” Seungcheol explained

 

Jeonghan nodded “how did you know that I liked cherry soda?”

 

“Just a hunch” Seungcheol said

 

“Thank you sooooooo much Cheollie” Jeonghan said as he hugged Seungcheol

 

“Shh, the movie is starting” Seungcheol said

 

They were watching the movie in silence when a scary part came onto the screen. As much as Jeonghan loved ghostbusters, he’d always get really scared of watching it.

 

Jeonghan gasped when a ghost came onto the screen but he didn’t want to hide his face in Seungcheol’s chest because he didn’t want Seungcheol to think that he was afraid of a movie.

 

Don’t be scared, it’s only a movie

But you already are scared

It’s you again

Yeah…

Why do you always appear at the wrong time

Seungcheol saw that Jeonghan gasped at a scary scene, so he put his arm around Jeonghan. It was a simple act of affection but it meant so much more.

 

Then, Jeonghan snuggled into his chest YASS!! So Seungcheol decided to tighten his arm around Jeonghan.

 

He was a bit hungry so he put his hand in the popcorn bucket to grab some popcorn but instead of grabbing popcorn, he grabbed Jeonghan’s hand.

 

He was glad that Jeonghan didn’t see him blush because that would’ve been embarrassing. He felt Jeonghan snuggle closer to his chest.

 

He smiled as he interlocked his fingers with Jeonghan’s. He wasn’t really paying much attention to the movie anymore, he was more focused on his and Jeonghan’s hands.

 

Is my hand sweaty? It is rough? Why is his hand so soft? Does he like this? Is that my hand sweat or his hand sweat? Does he want to let go? Should I stop?

 

Seungcheol was nervous but he didn’t let go of Jeonghan’s hand.

Around the middle of the movie…

 

“Jeonghan” Seungcheol whispered “I’m thirsty”

 

“Take my cherry soda” Jeonghan said as he handed his soda to Seungcheol

 

“But I don’t have an extra cup” Seungcheol said

 

“I don’t care, if you’re thirsty then drink” Jeonghan said

 

“Ok” Seungcheol said

 

They were still in the same position as before, with Jeonghan snuggling into Seungcheol’s chest, their hands interlocked and Seungcheol’s free arm around Jeonghan.

 

Seungcheol didn’t have a free arm to hold the soda bottle in so Jeonghan decided to help Seungcheol by pouring the drink into his mouth but he accidentally spilled the drink on Seungcheol’s pants. (A/N: LOLOLOLOLOLOL)

 

“Oh my gosh I’m so sorry Seungcheol” Jeonghan said as he frantically wiped the stain on Seungcheol’s pants

 

“Umm” was all that Seungcheol could say at the moment, the stain was dangerously close to his crotch and he worried that Jeonghan would accidentally get too close to his junk.

 

“I’ll do it myself” Seungcheol said as he held Jeonghan’s wrist and took the napkin out of his hands.

 

“Ok” Jeonghan said, oblivious of what Seungcheol was feeling at the moment

 

Seungcheol pulled his hand away from Jeonghan’s hand and started carefully wiping up the stain, thankfully his jeans were dark so the stain wouldn’t be that noticeable. He kept on holding Jeonghan tightly and after cleaning the stain on his pants, he proceeded to hold Jeonghan’s hand again.

“That was a great movie” Seungcheol said

 

“Let’s go to the arcade!!” Jeonghan yelled

 

Thankfully for them, the nearest arcade was only a block away from their current location, so it wouldn’t be too long of a walk.

 

“How many tokens do you want?” asked Seungcheol

 

“For the arcade?” Jeonghan asked, he hadn’t been to an arcade in a long time

 

“Yes” Seungcheol responded

 

“Umm, how much does 1 game cost?” Jeonghan asked

 

“3 tokens” Seungcheol responded

 

“Lets just get 30 tokens” Jeonghan said

 

“5 games for each of us?” Seungcheol asked

 

“Yeah, that seems fair” Jeonghan answered

 

“...and we’re here” Seungcheol said

 

They both looked up at the arcade at the neon lights everywhere, Jeonghan was surprised to see people of all ages in the arcade, when he was younger, he only saw teenage boys.

 

“Close your mouth, you’re going to attract flies” Seungcheol said

 

Jeonghan game him a playful death glare and Seungcheol immediately shut his mouth.

 

They went up to the token booth and Seungcheol bought them 30 tokens

 

“What do you want to do first?” Seungcheol asked

 

“Mario Kart!!” Jeonghan yelled as he pointed to a Mario Kart booth

 

“Ok” Seungcheol said as they walked over to the booth and inserted their tokens into the token slot

 

They played 3 rounds of that but Jeonghan won every single round, beating Seungcheol by a mile.

 

“You’re so good” Seungcheol said

 

“Thanks” Jeonghan responded as he walked over to the whack-a-mole game

 

“You want to play that?” Seungcheol asked pointing to the whack-a-mole game

 

“Yeah” Jeonghan said “I’ve always liked it”

 

“I’ll pass on that one, I’m not very good at it” Seungcheol said

 

Seungcheol watched as Jeonghan whacked every mole that appeared with aggressive hits

 

“I feel like you’re good at every game” Seungcheol said

 

“Thanks” Jeonghan said “I imagined that those moles were Chungae”

 

“Oh, that must have made it easier”

 

“Yeah” Jeonghan said “much easier”

 

“How many tokens do we have left?” asked Seungcheol

 

“3 for me and 6 for you” Jeonghan said

 

“Take my tokens” Seungcheol said

 

“Why?”

 

“I’m too tired to play any more games” Seungcheol said

 

“Aww, that’s too bad” Jeonghan said

 

Truthfully, Seungcheol really liked to see the look of concentration on Jeonghan’s face when he played a game, he liked how his tongue would flick out and his lips while playing, he pretty much liked everything about Jeonghan.

 

“I’m gonna play this simulator game” Jeonghan said as he waved Seungcheol over to where he was standing

 

Jeonghan inserted 3 tokens and started the simulator.

 

Seungcheol carefully watched Jeonghan, whenever there was a bump, Jeonghan’s hair would bounce up and down and Seungcheol carefully watched how he would brush it out of his face.

 

He’s so beautiful, he should know that. And if he doesn’t, then I’ll tell him myself. I swear that I could watch him forever and not get tired of it.

 

“Cheollie!!!” Jeonghan yelled “I beat the high score”

 

When you smile like that, I go crazy. You’re so beautiful, I wish that you would smile like that every day.

 

“Congrats angel” Seungcheol said as he pulled Jeonghan in a hug

 

“Thanks” Jeonghan said “for everything”

 

“I did nothing” Seungcheol said

 

“Yes you did, you suggested going out instead of staying in, you won’t believe how happy I am right now” Jeonghan said

 

“Just because you won a game?” Seungcheol asked

 

“For everything that you’ve done for me” Jeonghan said “I never expressed how grateful I am for you”

 

“Wow, I didn’t know that I do THAT much” Seungcheol said

 

“I made the pancakes for you to kind of thank you for all that you’ve done for me” Jeonghan said

 

“I loved them, remember?” Seungcheol said

 

“Yeah” Jeonghan scratched the back of his neck “thank you, for everything. I love you, in a friendly way, and I hope you feel the same way.”

 

In a friendly way

 

“Yeah” Seungcheol said, but he didn’t only love Jeonghan in a friendly way, he loved him so much more than that.

 

I guess that I’m doing well, if I want to be more than friends, I have to work hard so that he’ll eventually fall in love with me.

SO, I HAVE SOME BAD NEWS

 

YESTERDAY, I NOTICED THIS BUMP THING BEHIND MY EAR SO I GOOGLED IT TO FIND OUT WHAT IT WAS

 

IT WAS SOMETHING WEIRD SO I TRIED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT W/ MY DOCTOR

 

SHE HAD NO OPENINGS UNTIL TUESDAY SO I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR TUESDAY

 

THEN, I STARTED TO GET A REALLY BAD HEADACHE

 

SO I RUSHED TO THE ER, BECAUSE I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE BUMP

 

I HAD TO WAIT IN ONE OF THOSE CREEPY HOSPITAL ROOMS FOR OVER 2 HOURS AND I FORGOT MY PHONE AT HOME T.T

 

WHEN SHE FINALLY CAME IN, SHE ASKED ME IF I HAD ANY COLDS OR SOMETHING OVER THE PAST WEEKS AND I SAID YES BECAUSE FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS OR SO, I'VE HAD A "COLD"

 

WELL, IT TURNS OUT THAT THE SO CALLED "COLD" WAS ACTUALLY A MAJOR INFECTION AND SINCE SOMETHING HAPPENED TO MY WHITE BLOOD CELLS, THE "COLD" DID SOMETHING TO MY EAR

 

SO I HAD TO TAKE A BLOOD TEST AND STUFF BECAUSE SHE NEEDS TO EXAMINE MY WHITE BLOOD CALLS

 

I GET SICK REALLY EASILY SO MAYBE I DO HAVE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THOSE BLOOD CELLS (THEY'RE TOO LAZY XD)

 

I HAD TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER HOUR BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T ACCESS MY INFO AT THE LAB

 

THEN SHE SAID "YOU CAN'T GO TO SCHOOL UNTIL I GET YOUR TEST RESULTS BACK"

 

AND I WAS LIKE "I HAVE TESTS COMING UP, I CAN'T MISS SCHOOL"

 

AND THEN SHE ASKED ME IF I WENT TO SCHOOL LAST WEEK AND I WAS LIKE DUH

 

SO NOW I'M HERE, AT MY COMPUTER (TOTALLY NOT STRESSING ABOUT SCHOOL) RELAXING AND WRITING.

 

I STARTED CHAP THIS ON FRIDAY SO I'M SORRY ABOUT THE LENGTH

 

I'M ALSO PROBABLY NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO POST ANOTHER CHAPTER NEXT WEEK, I'LL TRY BUT I DON'T WANT AN INCOMPLETE CHAPTER
