No One’s POV

Sooyoung was walking around the campus when she saw a certain somebody, sitting under the tree reading her book. She smiled at the thought of the girl that has always been her favorite view of all. Jessica Jung. The name that always caught her attention anytime, anywhere. She make her way towards the girl, approaching her in a slow manner with Jessica’s eyes still fixed on the book.  Jessica didn’t notice the latter’s presence until the latter spoke

“Hi beautiful!” she greeted cheerfully

Jessica looked up and saw her and then rolled her eyes. She knows that Sooyoung had been courting her for the past two months. But Jessica was playing hard to getand pretended she didn’t like the attention that Sooyoung was giving her. But heck, she loves it. She loves Sooyoung’s eagerness

“Ugh, what do you want” Jessica whined

“To spend some quality time with you!”

Sooyoung smiled and sat next to Jessica, who’s slightly uncomfortable on having Sooyoung that close to her.

“I’m busy” she said seriously

“It’s okay Jessica baby. I’ll just sit and watch you”

“Ugh”

“You’re pretty today. I like it!”

Jessica faced her and saw that Sooyoung was giving this cheerful smile again

“Why are you so cheerful..” Jessica mumbled

“Because I’m with you!”

“Go away Sooyoung”

“But I want to sit with you..” Sooyoung frowned

Jessica could sense her frown but decided to ignore it. But actually, she was blushing inside. The sight of Sooyoung whining is just too cute too handle. But she wouldn’t let that get in her way. She wants Sooyoung to keep fighting.

“I got you something”

Sooyoung spoke, and pulled something out from her pocket of her denim jacket. It was a flower.

“For you!”

“Where’d you get this?”

“I plucked it out. I saw it behind my dorm building”

“You couldn’t just pluck flowers here Sooyoung!”

“They wouldn’t mind” Sooyoung chuckled

Sooyoung then held Jessica’s hand and gave her another smile. Jesus, isn’t she tired of smiling? Jessica thought.

“Stop that”

“Hmm?” Sooyoung titled her head

“That smile”

“You don’t like it?”

“Annoying. Now if you may, I got something to do. You’re distracting me”

“You don’t like having me near you?”

“No”

Actually Jessica was just testing her. Because she knew that Sooyoung would always come back crawling to her. If that’s what she thought. She knew that Sooyoung likes her so much. To the point that she would do mountains for her. But she didn’t realize that people have limits too

“But I like you..”

“And I don’t”

“When are you going to start accepting me?”

“I don’t know”

Jessica shrugged and pretended to ignore the latter beside her.

“I need you..”

“Go away Sooyoung. I’m doing something. Just go”

Jessica shooed her away and that made Sooyoung a tad bit disappointed. In Jessica and in herself. She blamed herself for couldn’t make Jessica fall for her. She haven’t even confessed to Jessica properly yet and that made her sadder. Sooyoung sighed and stood up, letting go of Jessica’s hand and gave her a sad smile.

“Hmm, okay..”

Sooyoung saddened and nodded her head. She sighed once again before walking away from Jessica. Jessica just smiled at the sight of Sooyoung sulking in front of her.

“She’ll come back” Jessica said to herself

And she watched Sooyoung walking further

“She always does” Jessica smiled and paid attention back to her book

3 days later…

“No calls?! No messages?! No anything?!”

Jessica exclaimed as she threw her phone on her bed. Her best friend, Tiffany, who is also her roommate, was eyeing her curiously. She knew about the relationship between Sooyoung and her best friend

“She didn’t even meet me up!”

Jessica whined and slumped herself together with her phone on her bed

“Sooyoung?” her best friend asked

“Who else?”

“I thought you didn’t want her near you”

“Argh, you know me Tiff..”

Jessica rolled on her bed, constantly checking her phone, just in case Sooyoung texted her.

“Good, go act like an uninterested again”

“Oh shut up”

“You see Jessica, people have limits too. She had been courting you for the past few months, was nothing but romantic, and yet you rejected her. Do you even take her feelings seriously?” Tiffany spoke

“Of course I do! You know I like her since God knows when”

“Then what are you complaining about?”

“I mean, usually she would text me good morning and such.. Was I too harsh on her..” Jessica mumbled

“Remind yourself when were the last time you’re never not harsh on her” Tiffany rolled her eyes

“Don’t you go rubbing that off to my face” Jessica frowned

“I’m just saying”

Jessica groaned and rolled on her bed again. She took her pillow and growled on it, venting out her anger and frustration about Sooyoung. Damn, that tall girl has been bugging her thoughts every now and then.

“I’m going to look for her”

“Who, Sooyoung?”

“Duh. I think it’s time. Damn I like that tall creature” Jessica stood up

“FINALLY. Jessica is going to have a lover”

“Shut it”

Jessica blushed took her pillow and threw it on her best friend’s face

“YAH!” Tiffany exclaimed before Jessica walked out

I’ve been wandering around this campus for god knows how long and my legs are aching. Tsk, the things that I do for Choi Sooyoung. Where is that alien anyway? Usually she would be in front of me in just one snap. Or wherever my gaze is, she’s always there, giving me that cheeky smile. Ugh, I miss that.
