Jessica’s POV

Today would be my first trial of baby-sitting little walking stuff, I mean, kids. Yes, kids. Not that I mind it though, it’s just that I need to earn money for myself. Don’t get me wrong, I’m super rich. Hell, my father owns three hotels here in Seoul which makes him one of the richest men in the city. But that’s not the case right now. I need to learn how to earn my own money instead of depending on Dad for everything. So I saw in one of those flyers about working in a kindergarten and I told mom about it. But she’s not really convinced that I could take care of children more that I couldn’t even take care of my own damn self. But still, I persuaded and eventually she agreed on one condition. She told me she’s going out with three of her friends and they needed a babysitter to look after their kids. Mom said if I could handle the three of them for one day, she’ll reconsider about me working at a kindergarten.

So yeah, I’m up for the challenge and eventually agreed to babysit three kids that I’ve never even met.

I mean, how hard could it be, right?

So now here I am, at one of my mom’s friends’ house which is the Choi’s house. All three kids were already gathered here and they’re currently playing at the playing room. The mothers entrusted me on looking after their respective kids and I assured them that I would try my very best on doing so. The children, whose name are Kim Taeyeon, Choi Sooyoung, and Seo Juhyun also known as Seohyun came down to bid goodbye to their own mothers. After the mothers left, I gathered the three of them in the living room, to get to know each other a whole lot better.

“Sica unnie, where is mommy going?” little Sooyoung asked

“Oh, they’re going out for a while” I replied, smiling

“So, Sica unnie will take care of us?” little Taeyeon spoke

“Yes, unnie will take care of you guys”

“Yay!!”

Taeyeon and Sooyoung jumped happily. I giggled at their cute antics and shook my head at the sight in front of me.

“How old are you guys?” I asked them

“5!!” the three of them exclaimed

Aww, they’re so adorable.

“Sica unnie, can we go and play?” Taeyeon asked

“Yeah, sure. Let’s go to the playing room okay?”

“Okay!”

The three of them nodded and they skipped happily back to the playing room. When I turned to my left side, I saw Seohyun dragging her two little feet slowly rather than the other two who are already ahead of us. Seohyun had a book in her hand and she got this cute innocent little face that’s really asking for a pinch.

“Seohyun, are you okay?” I asked

“Oh yeah unnie” She smiled

“You don’t seem excited. Do you not like me?”

“Oh no unnie! I do like you! I just miss mommy” she frowned

“It’s okay. We’re going to have fun together, okay?” I chuckled

“Okay!”

When we enter the playing room, I noticed that the toys were neatly arranged in each and every boxes. Also, some were on the shelf. I must say that as a kid, they’re all pretty organized rather than me when I was a kid. Toys scattered on the floor and some sort of stuff which were pretty normal back then. I sat on the floor with them and they went to pick some toys with Seohyun sitting beside me with her book. So far, it’s going well and they’re all well behaved.

“Sica unnie, let’s play!” Sooyoung said

“Sure” I smiled

“I brought my own toy from home!” Taeyeon said excitingly

“You did?” I asked

Taeyeon cutely nodded.

“I have a new toy!” Sooyoung told us

“Oh really? What is it?” I asked

“A rocket!”

Sooyoung replied and ran to her backpack and took her new toy out to show it to us.

“Oh wow, a rocke-..”

My words got cut off when I looked closely at her new ‘toy’             

“A ?!?!?!?!”

Why the hell does Sooyoung got a in her backpack?!

“A what?” Sooyoung asked innocently while wiggling her ‘rocket’

“Where did you get that?!”

“From mommy’s bedroom!” She excitedly told me

Oh my god.

“Wow that looks cool!” Taeyeon amusingly said

“Right? It feels like a jelly, but a bit harder!” Sooyoung replied

“I want a new rocket like yours!”

“No Taeyeon, no you don’t” I warned

“I call it, Rojelly!” Sooyoung exclaimed

I scrunched my eyebrows and stared at Sooyoung.

“Ro, what?”

“Rojelly!”

She named the . Oh god.

“A rocket that looks like a jelly! Rojelly!”

“I want to play with Rojelly!” Taeyeon yelled

Sweet lord. Bless these innocent children. They know nothing about the world around them.

“Oh fishballs!”

Taeyeon exclaimed when she took ‘Rojelly’ from Sooyoung. That somehow caught my attention. Fishballs? What the does a have anything to do with fishballs? Then my curiosity was answered when I saw Taeyeon squeezing those….balls.

“TAEYEON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”

“These looks like fishballs!” she happily said

For the love of God.

“It’s squishy too!”

“OH MY GOD TAEYEON STOP DOING THAT”

“Why?”

“Let’s play!”

Sooyoung took the from Taeyeon and lift it up in the sky and move it around as if it was a damn rocket. I snatched it from Sooyoung’s hand.

“We are not playing this”

“Why?” Sooyoung pouted

“It’s… it’s um, it’s not fun. We’ll play something else okay?”

“Okay..” Sooyoung sighed

“Come here, let me ask you guys some questions”

The three of them obediently sat in front of me with their innocent looking eyes, staring deep into my not-so-pure soul.

“So, what do you guys want to be when you grow up?”

“A doctor!”

Wow, okay. She’s determined.

“Why?” I smiled

“So I can touch people’s butts!”
