Jessica’s POV

We were on our way back home and Sooyoung was constantly checking her phone while her other hand grips the steering wheel while driving. It irritates me because one, we could get into an accident and two, we could get into an accident. Yes, I said it twice because I ain’t living in this world just to die in a car crash with this goofball. Okay I lied, I want to die with her but not in this condition because it’s not romantic at all. I want us to die in a land full of roses with our bodies pressed against each other, on each and every petals.

Okay, I was exaggerating. Roses have thorns so we might just choke ourselves instead. But yeah, you know

Also not to forget three, maybe her suitors were texting her in the middle of day

“Just, what the hell are you doing?” I spoke

“Shhhh”

Did she just ‘shhh’ me??

“Oh woman, you better not shhh on me-”

“I’m s-sorry babe. I didn’t mean that” Sooyoung said almost immediately

“Then what are you doing there?”

“Pokemon”

Ahh, here it goes again, the legendary Pokemon Go that ruined almost every single time that we spent together these last few days. Also not to mention that she’s too committed to this game she went out in the middle of the night, driving around Seoul until 3am just because she ran out of Pokeballs. Heck, if I were to ask her to get me a chocolate at 3am, she would kick me out of the room.

Okay yeah I lied again. I’d kick her out of the room just as a sign that I’m pissed. Nevertheless, she’d still get chocolates for me

“Can’t you play that later?” I snickered

“I need more Pokeballs!”

“I’m the one who’s going to throw every types of balls on your head if you don’t drive carefully, Sooyoung”

Sooyoung grimaced at my sentence and finally gave in before handing me her phone. She sighed and placed both hands on the steering wheel, sitting straight for a better view in front of her. Feeling empty, I reached out for her hand and clasped it together with mine. That brought a confused look on her face

“What, you always hold my hand when you’re driving” I said

“And I’m not allowed to hold my phone?”

“A phone might distract you from driving”

“And how are you any different?”

“I’m your girlfriend. It’s very different”

I glared at her constantly for throwing questions at me. She chuckled in response

“Very well. You’re going to help me then” She replied

“Help you with what?”

“Catch Pokemons of course”

“I don’t play Pokemon, Soo” I said

“Then learn today”

I sighed and nodded in return. Well, it’s better than her pulling over every god damn 3 kilometers just to catch it.

“There are so many Poke Stops here so be fast okay? I need more Poke Balls”

“But can we not do this right now though? I get dizzy staring at a phone while a car is moving. And not with your kind of driving” I told her

“No, no. I need the egg to hatch”

“What egg?”

“Argh, it’s hard to explain to someone who doesn’t play Pokemon” she grunted

“Whatever”

I stared at her phone. And it was nothing but roads and some blue kind ty thing which I assume was a Poke Stop

“Now, if you reach a Poke Stop, just slide to left or right then things will pop out. Just click on them. Or just simply press X since there are too many stops here” Sooyoung told me

“Okay okay”

“If a pokemon appears, you know what to do right?” she asked

“Yeah, you snatch them”

“Good, just don’t waste my precious Poke Balls”

“Got it”

She drove in silence with her squeezing my hand from time to time and of course, that made me smile. I placed her phone on my lap since I get car sick really easily. Just then I felt her phone vibrated and I looked at it

“THERE’S A POKEMON!!!!!!”

Few seconds after that, I felt my body lunged forward almost hitting my head on the rear view mirror. Yeap, So
