Sooyoung’s POV

“Choi Sooyoung!”

My girlfriend called me for the nth time for the past 30 minutes. Seriously, she’s busy painting her toe nails and here I am cooking lunch for the both of us, yet she called me to bring her stuff that she couldn’t reach. Saying it might ruin her pedicure session, she bumping onto some random furniture, and me ‘accidently’ stepping on her toe. I’m already multitasking here and yet she still insisted on bossing me around like the boss she is.

“WHAT?”

I yelled from the kitchen, giving her an annoyed face

“Don’t you give me that look” she glared back

“Ugh, what do you want?”

“I need waterrrrrrr”

Jessica whined while pouting at me, ugh, she knows that it’s my weakness

“Babe, standing up won’t kill you”

“Of course I know that. But it’ll kill my nail”

“Argh”

I grunted and turned off the stove. Glad I already finished cooking or else I’ll have to leave this fried chicken ‘un-fried’ here drowning in oil just because I need to get a glass of water for my girlfriend. I took a tray and placed our lunch and her water on it before carrying it to the living room where Jessica is. There I saw her comfortably sitting on the couch, giving me a cheeky smile

“Water, your Majesty”

I playfully bowed and placed her glass of water on the stool beside her, along with her nail arts and everything.

“Thank you, peasant”

“Yah”

I frowned. She gave me this cute giggle and kissed me cheek

“Forgive me, Duchess of Duckies” she giggled

“What the hell?” I laughed

“Let’s eat!”

“Wait, your nails?”

I asked while staring at her toenails which are full of cotton balls in between of every toe

“It’s all dried up. All I need to do is put on top coat and it’ll be done. But we can do that later” she said

“Woah, woah. ‘We’?”

“Oh, sorry.” She giggled “You”

I furrowed my eyebrows

“What me”

“You’re going to put the top coat on!” she smiled

“Why are you doing this to meeeeeee”

I wiggled my body and scrunched my lips up at her, trying to annoy her further. But this woman just stuck her tongue out and me and tapped my nose before standing up, making her way to the coffee table where I placed our lunch.

“Because I said so. And you must follow” she turned back

“But you never did anything for me” I frowned

“Excuse me?”

“You never did anything for me” I repeated

“I did! I gave you some TLC!”

What the heck is a TLC?

“Huh?”

“Tender Loving Care”

And there goes Jessica’s goofy smile again

“Come”

She gestures her hand for me to come over and patted the seat next to her. I sighed and made my way to the coffee table and sat beside her before wrapping an arm around her waist, giving her a kiss on the cheek. It has been my habit. Just like how she patted my cheek every now and then

“Here, let me feed you” Jessica told me

“I’ll ruin your nail”

“DON’T YOU DARE”

She threatened to throw her spoon at me which caused me to burst out laughing. Ah, I guess her nail is way important than I am. But oh well, at least I get to spend my off day with her today!

“Okay, okay. Let’s just eat”

I smiled and took her plate and placed it in front of her then took mine after that. She patted my cheek as a thank you gesture before digging in. But before she could do so, her phone vibrated. Since she placed her phone on the couch and it’s just behind us, I took it and saw a message came from Tiffany.

“Open it for me” she told

“Okay”

I clicked on Tiffany’s message and saw a picture popped out with Jessica peeking beside me. It was a guy’s picture, a hot guy, with Tiffany’s message on the bottom

[Guess who? ;D]

I looked at Jessica and she seemed as confused as I was since she titled her head to the side.

“Who’s this?” I asked pointing at the picture

“Hmm, I don’t know.. Help me reply”

She nonchalantly said and shrugged her shoulders. After I replied, we received another message from her.

[It’s your ex boyrfriend’s pic, ! He’s like super hot now!]

“WHAT?!”

Jessica exclaimed and took her phone from my hands. Wow, ex boyfriend became Ken I see. I stared at my girlfriend and saw her admiring the picture. Telling me how hot he became. Um duh, your LOVER is here? Tch

“Jesus he’s so hot now”

And she said I’m the hottest person she ever met

“Holy smokes look at that smile”

She said my smile is her favorite

“Dear God, why did I leave him in the first place”
