The next morning, grandma came up to my room. I was very late to school. She woke me up by smacking my , but not to hard. “Jason Gregory! Jason Gerald Gregory!!! Wake up!! You’re late for school.” She obviously shouted. “Huh? Okay, okay. Give me a sec… “  I looked at my phone. It’s 8:25 already. “! I’m sorry grandma…  Help me up with breakfast please….” I said with puppy eyes. “Go shower now. I’ll be waiting at café downstairs.” She patted my head.

I hurriedly packed my thing for school and grabbed my helmet right away. I almost forgot to bring my key. I rushed down to café for breakfast. “Sorry, my handsome and beautiful grandparents. I’m late today. I went home late last night.” I said. “It’s okay, dear. Come have breakfast.” Grandpa said.

That’s what I liked being here. They always had their breakfast with me every single day. Grandma always woke me up, and yes remind me to eat, say goodbye before sleep which my own parents never do to me. I might say I love them more. More than anyone else. They’re my soul.

I saw him smiling all the way while running downstairs that made me curious.
