Jaejoong felt miserable the next second he ended the call. The pain his heart felt knowing that Jennifer doesn’t see him in the same light, the anger towards the same girl for the same reason that made him spit out those harsh words.

Loosing Heyri broke Jaejoong’s heart. Jennifer out of nowhere came and healed his heart, only to stab right back. And that drove him mad. Maybe on himself since he whom everyone thought to be as strong as steel was actually weak, which is why Jennifer got to him good.

Jaejoong looked towards the direction where his father was and noted that he was asleep on the chair. Ideally he should sleep but he couldn’t since guilt was biting him hard.

Only if he apologizes to his friend would his guilt fade away.

Taking in a deep breath, Jaejoong unlocked his phone and dialed the top most contact in his call log. Within 2 rings the call was picked up but there was no voice coming out from the other side.

“Mian”

“It took you three hours to tell that one word?”

Both boys on either sides of the call finally smiled. Yunho saved his work on his laptop and locked the screen. He got up and walked to the balcony to look at the night sky. “I’m visiting you tomorrow morning”

“Good. I want to see you” Jaejoong admitted.

“And I’ll take you to see her” Yunho added.

Jaejoong’s heart skipped beats. “I’d like that” He admitted once again, this time softly

“Good. Sleep. You need to rest”

“You too Yunho”

“I will”

By the time Jaejoong awoke Yunho was already in his room pouring a glass of orange juice.

“I’ve made it look like you have taken planned annual leave so don’t worry about being pampered with gifts from your students” Yunho informed Jaejoong

“Good morning to you too”

Yunho smiled to himself closing the cap of the juice box back and made himself comfortable by the bed to drink it. Jaejoong came back after brushing the teeth and rolled his eyes at the sight of Yunho enjoying the drink instead of taking care of him. Watching Jaejoong pick out a shirt, Yunho kept his drink and proceeded to help his friend wear it.

“You look really young for a 29 year old, hyung” Yunho couldn’t help but tell it

Jaejoong smirked back and got on with brushing his hair. The two friends then had a quick breakfast courtesy of Yunho and then stepped out to Jennifer’s room.

“Please don’t get jealous if she is with Changmin, hyung” Yunho sincerely requested, “They know each other for a long time, that too in England, so it’s natural that-”

“That they act like a couple? Yeah, I know”

Yunho looked back at Jaejoong. “I guess you really had a good sleep”

With his abled hand Jaejoong nudged the CEO. Only god knows how much Jaejoong was reeling him in to control his feelings at that time. Just the thought of Changmin and Jennifer was getting him angry.

But when they neared her room, they couldn’t help but stop meeting a worried looking Mr. Shim, the doctor and their friend Yoochun.

“I think the impact had triggered some lost memories. Don’t worry we have sedated her for now.. Let’s see once she wakes up”

The doctor excused him and walked towards the duo leaving Yoochun with Mr. Shim. Seeing Jaejoong the doctor advised him to get back to his room fast to conduct some more tests and walked to conduct his daily round. Yoochun was to speak but seeing Yunho and Jaejoong he stopped and turned towards them.

“She was alright last evening, what happened now?” Yunho questioned before anyone could speak

“Nightmares” Yoochun replied, “I was on duty when I heard her scream in fright. Poor girl, cried a lot”
