She ran to the staffroom where I was packing my stuff. She held onto the edge of my cubicle, eying me and breathing hard.

"Are you resigning?" She questioned between breaths.

"Yes" I replied and got on to arranging my stuff.

"Why?" She asked.

I decided to stay quiet.

"Sonsaengmin, why are you leaving when our finals are nearing?"

"Don't worry Jenni, you will get the first class"

"So I won't be able to see you anymore?"

My grip on the book tightened.

"Prof" I felt her presence behind me "Please don't leave us when-"

"Will you stop bothering about your studies for even a minute Jennifer?!" I released the book and it fell on the table with a loud *thump*. I turned to meet her startled face "Will it kill you to see me past your studies?!"

Those big beautiful round almond eyes stared deep into my soul. But I couldn't hold it on anymore.

"Wanna know why I'm resigning?" I asked, stepping towards her

"It's because I've fallen in love with you, brat"
