A/N: THOUGHTS ARE IN ITALICS

Jennifer POV

I brought two slices of velvet cheesecake along with two glasses of iced coffee.

“Who was that?” I asked watching him place the phone on the table.

“Your admirer” He casually sipped his coffee.

“YOU HAVE L JOE’S NUMBER!” I stood up and the chair creaked “HOW DARE YOU TELL HIM WHERE WE ARE?!”

“Calm down Jelly Bean”

“You have no right calling me that if you talk with the flirt! How many times have I told you that I like Changmin oppa!” I wined, stomping my feet like a child.

“Hey, don’t tear. Please.” He stood up and reached to hold my face. I hit his hand away. “Please don’t cry. Everyone is looking”

“Stop talking to L Joe please” I pleaded.

I might act unaffected but in reality his actions are affecting me a lot. I am scared to come to class. If it wasn’t for Minho, I wouldn’t have come to class this week. To be truthful, I got late to class because he was bullying me. He was forcing me to go on a date with him and he held my really tight that I cried. Once I cried, my eyes blurred and I unconsciously squeezed my eyes. My left lenses moved and I suffered trying to find where it was. It was hard because I was tearing more freaking out that I will not be able to see clearly. My eyesight is really weak and I don’t want to wear glasses frightened that they might tease me. L Joe is a real persistent boy. I once had a similar problem in England where one boy stalked me everywhere. God! I was so terrorized that I didn’t dare to step out of my room. It was Changmin who somehow realized that I was acting weird and spoke to me after buying me cheesecake.

“Jenny” He tilted his head to his left, leaning towards me. “Is something bothering you?”

I wasn’t the type to talk open up to people very fast. Changmin lived with us when to complete his masters. His father and mom were friends. Though we lived together I never had a proper conversation with him until very later. Well, when he first came he was to himself, always studying. He rarely comes out of his room except during evenings when the boys get together to play either cricket or basketball.  But I liked his silence. It started with me quietly observing him be himself to finally manning up and speaking to him. Gradually, he opened up to me seemed to have understood me more than my mother does. I love my mom but she is too much of a workaholic.

“Nothing” I mumbled eying the one slice of cake that rested close to him.

“Really?” He played with his spoon almost slicing the cake. “Then why aren’t you going to swim these days?”

I love swimming. Unfortunately, the stalking jerk met me while I was swimming.

“Exams” I mumbled. “Oppa, cake” I pointed at his spoon and then my mouth. I needed to divert the talk. Cheesecake was my only option.

“Liar.” He sliced a piece as I pouted in defeat.  “No cake” He ate the piece in delight.

I have a weakness for cheesecake. Unfortunately, he knew it. With each bite my mouth salivated. I opened my mouth as he did and swallowed my spit as he swallowed the precious cheesecake. Unable to bear the sight anymore I told him the truth. He calmly listened to my worry and assured me that he’d solve it.

Oh he solved it by acting like my boyfriend and kissing me on my cheek. That one kiss brought another problem, a disease that has no cure except for more of those kisses. That was the moment I fell in love with him.

Tao speaking to me snapped me back from my daze.

“Darling, it’s not L Joe. I hate that jerk”

I breathed deep in relief, and stared at Tao. His lips broke into the calming smile that I have come to love watching. He broke a piece of cake in his spoon and fed me. I opened my mouth but maintained my questioning gaze. He later carried my glass and helped my drink. I, like a two-year-old baby, let him feed me. Some people cooed at us but the both of us didn’t care. It strangely felt that mom was feeding me. I’ve known him for a couple of weeks only but I treat him like I treat Andy and Jamie. I feel so secure whenever I’m with him. He’s my own Chinese Kung Fu panda.
