It's Valentine's Day. The girls with boyfriends at your school have been squealing over the gifts they received. You're just a tiny bit envious, but you shrug it off. You're here to study. Besides, the boy you like will never notice you anyway.
Speaking of that boy, you spot him across the school cafeteria with his friends. The cool crowd. They're really popular and so high up the food chain that they probably breathe a different kind of air from you.
