Hyunbin walked into his son’s office with a folder in hand. He noticed Nichkhun engrossed in typing a report on his laptop, probably about the statistics he needed to review. 

“Son, do you have a minute?” 

Nichkhun looked up from the screen and took off his glasses. “Yes dad?”

“Here, read this.” Hyunbin handed him the folder, watching his son flipping it open. “Don’t get too surprised,” he smiled.

“What?” Nichkhun glanced at the letter again. “A partnership in New York?” 

“Yes. They’re offering us to maybe even set up a small branch in the States. So you know what this means right? Someone’s going on a business trip!”

Nichkhun laughed along with his father. He stood up iving him a light embrace. “This is your chance to prove your leadership and hopefully when you come back, everything will be well. I trust you on your own.”

“Of course dad, I won’t let you down. I can’t believe I’m going to New York,” he smiled. “It’s been a while and it’s good it’ll be a pretty long trip.”

“You’ll be taking your own time there but you’ll come back soon don’t worry. I figured it would be nice for Tiffany to come along with you. That way, I won’t have any worries about the both of you promoting our company.”

His smile grew bigger. “Tiffany will come with me? That’s even better,” he chuckled. “Now I can’t wait for this trip!”

“You’ll be leaving this weekend. Got the tickets, hotel reservations all booked. I’ve got everything prepared.” 

“Thank you so much dad. I’ll do my very best for sure.” 

“You’re going to New York?”

Yoona turned to Taecyeon and he turned to Tiffany. The three were thinking the exact same thing. What will this mean for them? The chance for them to stir things up. It was as if their plans were falling into place. Also to consider the fact that Nichkhun won’t be in Korea for a month would definitely make drastic changes between their relationships. 

“Why is this happening out of the blue?” Taecyeon was just curious of why this was happening. Felt too good to be real. 

“My dad talked to a couple of businessmen from the U.S. during the anniversary a while ago. He settled a deal with an official so I would be representing the company on his behalf.”

Tiffany spoke up. “Mr. Kim told me to come with him making sure he’ll do the job right,” she teased. 

“Would you look at that Khun, Tiffany’s gonna be like your mom during the trip. I won’t be worried at all,” Taecyeon said as a joke. 

Nichkhun shook his head at him. “Hey I’m all grown up. Of course you can trust me on this.”

Tiffany hummed in response. “We’ll see.” 

“I’ll be missing you guys though,” Nichkhun hung his arm around Yoona, staring at her longingly. “You guys work hard too yeah?”
