[Take Care]
“Ouch! Princess- what was that all about?”
JinHee quickly covered her ears with some earphones to block out the sound. She needed to clear her thoughts to revise her options but that would be impossible considering the ruckus outside of her room.
YongHwa had came to their house several days ago, introducing himself to their parents, much to the dismay of JooHyun. She kept on trying to usher him out of the house, but Mrs. Seo seemed to like him, and asked him to stay.
The lady was happy to see her daughter being more care-free and alive after her divorce. When she saw JooHyun being flustered over YongHwa’s words and actions, Mrs. Seo accepted him immediately.
SeoHyun had never expressed herself so much in front of other people, but that was a different case for YongHwa. Her mother could see little changes of emotions that were never there before. And it was shocking since not even JinHee could bring out that sort of light from her.
But after a whole week, JinHee felt her nerves itching to bang open the door and shout at them so they would shut up. The constant bickering and love-fights were really disturbing, and that wasn’t nearly as annoying as YongHwa’s whining.
“Yah- Jung YongHwa, you’re not supposed to crack the eggs like that!”
“…. Then how?”
JinHee cursed internally.
Next time, she promised herself she would kick the whining wart out of their house before he could try to cook them dinner. Or else this would happen.
The girl was lying down on her bed, cocooned into the toasty blankets as she pondered about the possibilities of China. She hadn’t told Yixing about it- since he couldn’t make it to the practice room last time.
Despite her best efforts, JinHee couldn’t help but be concerned over the man’s health. Being an idol is undeniably one of the most tiring and demanding jobs anyone could have. The crazy schedules, the tiring concerts, and the lack of rest- she was worried whether he would manage in an environment like that.
Topping all of that- was the fact that he shouldn’t be injured. Well- not severely at least. JinHee did her Google-ing. Sometimes idols do get injured either from the harsh choreography or falling off the stage; she had heard of some cases.
She contemplated whether she should leave him alone- she’d be crazy if something would happen to him while she was miles away.
Or she could just be paranoid.
But that was her- the girl who thought too much of everything, who got anxious over the littlest things, who was too scared to start a relationship.
Being Seo JinHee, she couldn’t help but worry.
“Oh crap YongHwa, you’re burning the soup! How do you even manage to do that?!”
“Isn’t it supposed to be like this?”
“Is the soup black-coloured in the cook book too?!”
“…. Oops. Sorry Princess.”
Having had enough, JinHee groaned. She got up from her bed to change her clothes- slipping on a dark-green knitted top and some dark leggings. Grabbing her purse and high-heeled boots, she stormed out of her room.
When she opened the door, she wasn’t even surprised to see the chaos in front of her.
YongHwa was crouching in front of a burning pan, staring at the white foam on the edges of it. JinHee guessed that the foam came from the fire-extinguisher that JooHyun was holding like a baby in her arms. The two of them looked at her with blank looks- and if JinHee wasn’t so distressed, she would’ve laughed.
But she rolled her eyes instead.
“And I thought I was a disastrous cook,” she muttered, loud enough to turn YongHwa pink.
Leaving the problematic duo, JinHee walked outside to her car, quickly doing so as she couldn’t handle them any longer.
When she had gone, JooHyun slapped YongHwa across the back.
“What again?!” the man cried.
“Did you perhaps forget?” she asked him with a scoff, “You burnt our dinner!”

Yixing was happy he had a sort-of free schedule that day. The only
