22. The New Found Prince
Lief[The New Found Prince]
“You! What are you doing here?!” JooHyun hissed, trying to tone her voice down.
YongHwa tilted his head to the side and clutched his heart with his hands, sighing dramatically, “I love it how you speak so affectionately to me, Princess.”
She gripped the sides of her dress in frustration, for everything was making absolutely no sense at all. First of all, what was sauna guy doing in a party like this?
Second of all, what happened to him?
He was dressed stylishly in a tuxedo, and his hair styled like some model in a magazine. She hated to admit it but right now, he sort of looked like… a prince. JooHyun tried her best to convince herself that this was in fact, the annoying guy she met at the sauna.
A member of the small group she could call as her friends.
“In case you’re wondering, your husband’s walking to our direction now. Better not look so shocked,” YongHwa said carefully, jerking his head to JangHyuk’s nearing figure.
She turned around and in a flash; her husband was already next to her, all smiles.
“Oh, Mr. Jung! I see that you’ve met my wife, Shin JooHyun.”
YongHwa nodded and gave him a pleasant smile. It seemed like the man had practiced enough fake smiles to make one seem genuine. “Yes, JooHyun-ssi had been entertaining me with a chat.”
Her eyes turned into saucers.
What just happened?
Did he just address me formally? She pondered in her mind, And from what universe did that elegance come from?
She spaced out as her husband and the weird YongHwa exchanged conversations and small-talks. She glanced towards her husband, and decided to ask him for an explanation. JooHyun excused them both from YongHwa and ushered him around a corner.
“JangHyuk…” she whispered, “Who was that?”
Her husband scoffed, pissed off by the fact that she snatched him out of a completely good opportunity for a business partnership to ask him such a stupid question.
“Well who do you think this party is for?!” JangHyuk snapped. “This is why I told you to memorize those names before we left!”
gaped as her husband’s nagging blurred out of her hearing. So the Jung in Jung YongHwa stood for ‘utterly rich and remarkably respected’?
Then what was he even doing in that sauna?
“Um, excuse me.” A voice said from behind the arguing couple. JangHyuk craned his head around to find Jung YongHwa standing there. The man spread out a smile.
“Mr. Jung! I’m sorry,” JangHyuk spoke, “Me and my wife were just talking.”
YongHwa stared at him blankly before he nodded, “It’s alright… But if it’s okay with you, may I borrow your wife for a dance?”
JangHyuk merely blinked at the other male, not expecting the sudden request. But if anyone could offer him the chance of getting rid of JooHyun, he would gladly accept.
“Sure. Honey, go accompany Mr. Jung for a while, I’d be talking to some other guests.” He said quickly, as if he couldn’t wait to get his hands off her.
JooHyun gawked at him silently, and le
