Chorong, the bullies target, forever and always. Why, you asked? It was because she was an outcast, and somewhat weak, therefore, an easy target for big bullies like Hyunwoo and his gang. Chorong hates it, but she doesn't have the courage to voice out her feelings, scared to be beaten up worst. Chorong prays each day, every night, for a miracle to happen, something that would change her life for the better.

Kim Mingyu was a really handsome guy. Hair that could be easily styled, canine teeth that fits his adorable yet manly face. Plus, that jawline, to die for. And of course, the heavenly height of his. Girls and boys alike, swoon over him, day and night, in school or in the streets. Mingyu likes attention but he can't find a perfect match for him. All these admirers of his are just not his type. He nudged his best friend, Wonwoo.

"Man, I don't know about you. But I have a strong feeling something good would happen to me." Wonwoo just rolls his eyes.

Wonwoo heard that once too many times. Mingyu heaves a sigh. Why is his heart beating in such a nice way.

Prom night was coming and students were able to have the freedom to choose their partners. A bunch of students loved to draw lots to see who their partners would be and accept their fate, or just exchange it with someone else. Of course, Mingyu would come by and have his name written down and be placed in the box. After collecting all the different names, they got to choose. I was hilarious to watch, some would scream in excitement (mostly the girls but Soonyoung screamed liked a girl when he got Seokmin as his partner), others have such unreadable expressions on their face. While a minority, they just have this hashtag that says #foreveralone, printed all over their life because how the do they get their own names in a box filled with atleast 30 students? That's just sad. Next up was Chorong's turn. She pulls out the paper and screamed inside. She didn't tell anyone her partner as she let Mingyu picked his partner. Mingyu raised an eyebrow, "Is this you?" Mingyu showed Chorong his paper that has her name written on it.

Chorong nods, slowly, shyly, "Ye-Yeah."

"Cool, who's yours?"

"Y-You."

"WO-OH. That's what I call fate." Mingyu teases her.

After everyone got their partners, they were suppose to play different games to test their compability. Much to Chorong's dismay, yet she doesn't complain, she had to play the pepero game with two other couples. The other couples went first and then it was Chorong and Mingyu's turn. Because it was chocolate flavour, Chorong wouldn't mind what would happen next. Mingyu got closer and closer and evil hands starts to creep behind their necks and ...

The crowd went wild. Wonwoo smirked, mission accomplished. The two players were blushing madly in embarrassment as their lips were pressed against each other. Chorong moved away as she caught Wonwoo smirking in the crowd. She chewed her pepero and swallowed it. Mingyu did the same but he was very amused with Wonwoo's move.

"Now, that's what I call compatible."

"Or maybe there's a red sting of fate attached between you two." Wonwoo giggled.

Chorong smiles, maybe it wasn't too bad. Mingyu's lips were soft, that made it even better.

"So, partners?"

"Partners."
