There’s something he loves about rain. He loves the pitter-patter sound that rain produced when the water hit his window. He loves the water puddles on street in front of his apartment, it gave him a good reason to grab his boot, his raincoat and play with the water. Call him childish. He won’t care.

He loves the temperature when rain was pouring. It’s chill and gave him a good reason to make a cup of hot chocolate with blanket wrapped around his body and watched a sappy romantic movie, usually alone; but if he lucky enough, his best friend will came over and accompanied him.

In simple words, he loves rain. And his love toward rain getting bigger after he found him. Thanks’ for the rain that never stopped pouring at that particular day.

He's in the way to his favorite café when rain suddenly pouring. He ran as fast as he could to reach his destination but still he couldn’t reached in time and he should happy just waited at bus-stop until the rain stop later. He shook and ruffled his hair, tried to remove water droplets from his already damp hair. He turned his head and he saw him. His skin so pale and seem like glowing. His platinum blond hair only accentuated his paleness. His plump rosy lips became the most attractive part from his face along with his large single eyelids eyes, a cute nose and sharp jaw line.

Staring at people might can be considered as rude and he knew it, but this man make him couldn’t alter his gaze. Caught when stared someone was embarrassing and he knew it, because suddenly the stranger turned his head as well and their gaze met.

He quickly averted his gaze because really, his eyes seem hypnotizing. A flash of bright color could seen from the corner of his eyes. He heard a soft foot step neared.

“Hey, do you want to wait until the rain stop or you want to share umbrella with me?”

He lift his face and staring straight at the stranger’s face. His yellow umbrella look like a little sun and the color was too rough for his sense. “Um, I’d love to share the umbrella with you.”

He have a gummy smile on his face when he stretched out his hand, “My name Lee Hyukjae. Where you’ll go?”

“I’m Lee Donghae, nice to meet you Hyukjae-sshi. I just want to go to a café two blocks away from here.”

“Okay, let’s go and drop the sshi.”

They walked together under the yellow umbrella with rain still pouring. Not only walked together, they end up sat together and grab two cups of hot chocolates at café. They prefer called it hang out although Donghae prefer to call it unofficially date.

Months passed and now was raining again. As usual, Donghae was waiting at bus stop. He’s too lazy to bring the umbrella with him. He just stared at other people who hurriedly walking in the middle of rain under their umbrella, mostly black. And he saw it. A yellow umbrella. Very noticeable in the middle of black umbrella ocean. Like the umbrella, the owner was very noticeable too.

A sweet smile appeared as he reached Donghae’s place. “You always forget to bring your umbrella, Hae.” He pouted and accused lightly.

Donghae laughed. He pulled his lovely boyfriend closer to him under the bus-stop roof and he dropped his umbrella in the process when Donghae kissed him softly. “So I have a reason to make you fetch me.”

They walked hand in hand again under the yellow umbrella for the nth time. They saw a water puddle near Donghae’s apartment and in instant they turned to be a five years old boy when they splashing and kicking the water puddle before running in the middle of rain to Donghae’s apartment.

Hyukjae sat on comfortable couch with Donghae’s clothes on his body, blanket wrapped securely around them and Donghae’s arm around his waist, make him snuggled closer to him after finished sipping a cup of hot chocolate that made by Donghae to accompany their movie time or their sappy romantic movie time to be specific.

“I’m glad you ask me to share the umbrella with you.” Donghae said suddenly.

“And why is that?” asked Hyukjae curiously.

“Because I met you and now my life is complete. I love you.” He smiled.

A sappy romantic movie no longer romantic in Hyukjae’s eyes. It’s Donghae who made everything became romantic, although only a little gesture or a simple word, if Donghae who said or doing that, that will come out as romantic word or gesture. “I’m glad I offered my umbrella to the right person. I love you too.”

A kiss once again was shared between them. The yellow umbrella still bright and striking like little sun but right now, both of them found something brighter and more striking than their yellow umbrella. That was, their bare skin.
