It was late one Friday afternoon, Ryeowook trying to make his way through the sea of students to get back to the dorms. He had been waiting all day for the chance to have a well-deserved nap before dinner started at the food hall, completely exhausted from the week of long study hours and assignments that had started to build up.

He weaved through the groups of students idling around, trying to get across the quad as fast as possible when he accidentally stumbled into Siwon. The bigger boy should've been impossible to miss, at least a head taller and wide muscled back basically a wall as Ryeowook collided with him, stumbling back with a gasp.

Tripping over his feet he landed back on his , wincing from the sudden pain that bloomed from his tail bone.

“Ryeowook!? I'm so sorry!” Siwon exclaimed, rushing to pull the smaller boy to his feet, looking down at him in concern.

“No its okay, I wasn't really paying attention.” Ryeowook replied, giving the other a friendly smile. “You'd be surprised how often this happens to me.” he joked, relief flooding Siwon's features as he patted Ryeowook's shoulder, letting his hand rest on the shorters shoulder.

“Now that I've got you here, do you think you have a few minutes for me to talk to you about the fund raiser the club I'm in is doing this month?” he asked, giving Ryeowook a hopeful smile.

In the months Ryeowook had known the other boy Siwon had been nothing but polite gestures and warm smiles, Ryeowook getting along well enough with the boy in their shared classes to consider him at least a friend. That fact in particular had him seizing up, unable to turn Siwon down as he gave him a small nod.

As a bright smile spread across Siwon's face Ryeowook let himself be resigned to his fate, following the other boy over to the set up table while he erased the precious minutes  he'd set apart for his nap in his head.

“First of all you can have one of these.” Siwon offered, Ryeowook taking the thick bible gently from his hands. Seeing the way he carefully held the book Siwon's grin widened, arms flailing wildly in excitement as he jumped into his explanation.

Ryeowook was half listening as Siwon went on, speech jumping from Jesus and church to some sort of food drive he'd have to remember to donate to, the dimpled boy passionately explaining all about his bible research in an attempt to sell Ryeowook on the idea.

Even if he wanted Ryeowook couldn't get a word in, finding himself nodding politely at times as he searched for a way to leave for his precious bed without offending the other.

“...so we meet every Thursday afternoon and try to organise these kind of charity events every month between our bible studies. We're always accepting new members so if you wanted to join we can sign you up right now!” Siwon finished, mow holding out a bright sign up sheet to Ryeowook, long row of names already neatly printed on it.

Looking at the list Ryeowook was surprised he hadn't even known the club existed with such a sizeable following, wracking his brain for the best way to politely turn down the others offer down when a loud groan came from behind him.

Siwon's smile widened impossibly as Ryeowook felt an arm sling itself tightly around his shoulders, looking to his left to find Kyuhyun staring at Siwon unamused.

“Kyuhyun!!!” Siwon exclaimed, giddy grin on his face the complete opposite to the sour look on Kyuhyun's own features. “Have you finally decided to sign up and join us? You know you've always been welcome, everyone would love to finally meet you.”

Ryeowook was taken aback by the adoration that coloured Siwon's voice, eyebrows furrowed in confusion when Kyuhyun rolled his eyes in response.

“Funny enough I'm not – and what have I told you about telling stories about me!?”

“But you're so cute Kyuhyun I can't help it!” the dimple boy cooed, Ryeowook's confusion growing at the odd relationship between the two. “And I was just finalising thing with Ryeowo—”

“Speaking of Wook.” Kyuhyun interrupted, looking down at Ryeowook with a smile. “He is currently late for a meeting at the theatre, so if you don't want Heechul on your for holding him up I think you should let him get going now.”

Siwon pouted, the expression looking more odd than sad on the boys face as he nodded.

“I-I'll make sure to bring you some cans for your food drive though!” Ryeowook added, guilt flooding through him as Kyuhyun lied through his teeth. If Siwon caught on he didn't show it, pout disappearing as he brightened once more, dimpled smile returning as he grinned at Ryeowook.

“Thank you for being so thoughtful Ryeowook! Our club would benefit from someone as thoughtful as you. God bless!” he replied, waving happily as Kyuhyun steered the smaller boy away.

When there was a good distance between them and Siwon Ryeowook turned to Kyuhyun, looking up at him confused.

“I'm.... I'm not sure what exactly just happened.” Ryeowook finally admitted, Kyuhyun chuckling at the others bewildered expression.

“You nearly got recruited to Siwon's ultimate bible study group.” Kyuhyun replied. “He tends to be a bit full on with the religious stuff when given the opportunity – next time just mention it to Heechul and you'll never be bothered again.”

“So how did we get away so easily?” Ryeowook asked curiously, Kyuhyun grimacing slightly.

“Siwon has had a soft spot for me since Hae introduced us at the start of the year. Although it is pretty easy to use to my advantage when necessary.” Kyuhyun smirked, Ryeowook looking at him unamused.

“My hero.” Ryeowook sighed, Kyuhyun letting out a bark of laughter as he steered the shorter towards the cafe.

“C'mon then, you totally owe your hero a coffee!”
