Authors POV

Yumi bites down onto her bottom lip as she closes her locker. It was the end of the day and Jonghyun would usually meet her at her locker and walk her home. Yumi pouts as she stares at the moving people around the hallway. She decides to wait for a bit, hoping he would show up.

2 minutes.

5 minutes.

Yumi frowns as she holds tightly to the straps of her bag before sighing loudly. She shuts her locker closed loudly before she starts to walk, her head hung low. She hears a loud laugh, a familiar one in fact. She snaps her head up with a small smile on her face, to see the SHINee boys. She blinks as Key, who had laughed, awkwardly coughs, avoiding her eye as they all continue to walk towards her. Taemin and Onew give her a slight smile as Minho looks at her before quickly looking away. Yumi purses her lips as she looks at them, slowly shifting her vision towards him. He had a straight face on, looking straight as they walk completely past her.

Yumi breathes out the breath she had been keeping in, her shoulders deflating as she turns around to watch them walking along. She frowns as she feels her eyes start to water. "He really left me." she mumbles to herself before sighing. She pouts before turning back around, and heading out the door.

Yumi walks down the schools stair entrance, passing the gate on her way. There were still quite a few people around, but it was already 4:00. She didn’t think she had waited that long for a guy that just went straight past her with a cold face.

Yumi didn’t feel like going home yet, so she decided to go to a park near her house. Sitting on a stranded bench, she sighs for the fifth hundredth time as she stares down at her shoes.

"Baby girl."

Yumi's eyes widen as she quickly looks up, only to see Gdragon looking down at her with a soft smile plastered on his face. Yumi stays silent, silently staring at him. He chuckles before motioning to the seat next to her. "May I?"

"Sure." Yumi says.

He sits down. "Are you okay babygirl?" he asks as he looks at the frown on her face.

She shrugs as she pulls her legs up onto the seat before crossing her arms again. "I don't know." she looks at him, who had a worried look on his face. "W-why do you always call me babygirl?"

"You don't remember me?" he asks softly.

She shakes her head, placing her chin into her hand as she leans against her knee.

"What would you say if I tell you we used to know each other before?"

"How would that be possible? And why wouldn’t I remember you?" Yumi asks.

He shrugs, only to lift up his long sleeve. "Only one way to find out babygirl." he shows her a silver bracelet on his left wrist. "Does this look familiar to you?"

Yumi stares at his wrist with wide eyes for a good 2 minutes before nodding slightly. "Y-yes."

Gdragon smiles. "Because you have it too, don't you?"

She nods slightly before pushing up her sleeve uniform, her silver bracelet dangling.

He smiles widely as he connects one of the chains together, showing off that it was a perfect fit. Her eyebrows furrow as she looks back at him, studying his face closely. Yumi feels something rush to her head before she gasps. "Jiyoungie oppa."

Chapter 64: omg thank you for being active again. i really appreciate it especially how i used to love to read this fanfic back when I was in high school. If I remember correctly you used to post this on winglin right? its been so long. anyway im glad youre back and thank you for being so kind. i remember and can relate to your author note so much. As there was this author who was so mean, when all i commented was thank you for your update cant wait for the next update. and she got really mad at me saying did i not read through her foreward to not request for more chapters and all that when I didn't even do that -__-T. anyway Im happy that you decide yo continue this because Jonghyun is a subject that is still a sensitive topic for me, for I still can't say his name or listen to any SHINee music without tearing up a bit. Anyway, I hope you know your actions would be helping a lot of shawol

Chapter 65: I finally caught up. I wonder what happened that she forgot her memories and why her mother treats her that way. I wonder when will yumi and jonghyun that their relationship to another level. I want to she her bonding more with brothers as well as taehyung and her father. She should just move on with her brother or jonghyun since her grandparents are never home.

I just came across your story today. But I hope you do continue this story. When I read stories about Jonghyun, it make me feel like he is still here. Does anyone have any recommendations on jonghyun stories?
