Authors POV

"So," Yumi and Jessica walk side by side, Yumi swinging her arms back and forth with each stride. The nurses office was at the other end of the school, a long way from the cafeteria and Yumi had never been there before. If she did, she definitely would've gone by herself, in order to get out of this awkward situation.

"Listen." Jessica says with a sigh. "I'm certain we got off on the wrong foot." She stops walking and faces Yumi. "I'm sorry that I acted cold towards you. You remind me a lot of myself." she smiles. "I'm pretty sure we're gonna get along so I hope we can be friends. "

Yumi relaxes a bit. "R-really? Sure I'd love to be friends!" she says a little to excitedly.

Jessica giggles then links her arm with Yumi's, as they continued their way to the nurses office. "Wah so far!" they both whine.

"I'll take her." they hear. Jonghyun looks at Jessica with a straight face, not making any eye contact with Yumi.

"I'll take her." he repeats.

Jessica smiles and Jonghyun nods his head at her. "See you later Jongie." she says, winking at Yumi before skipping down the hall towards the cafeteria.

 "H-hi." Yumi says. She makes a face as she hears herself stutter and mentally groans at herself. I really need to work on my stuttering.

 "Hey." he says casually, taking her bag off her shoulder in the process.

"W-what are you doing?" Yumi asks as she looks down at her backpack in his left hand.

Jonghyun puts it over his shoulder and shrugs. "You can't hold your bag with your hand like that." he starts to walk. "Come on."

"W-wait isn't the nurses office that way?" Yumi says while pointing to the left.

Jonghyun scoffs. "The nurses don't do nothing. Just follow me."

Jonghyun had taken Yumi's hand into his carefully, and had started to wrap it with a bandage. He had his eyebrows scrunched, his eyes concentrated on perfectly aligning the bandage.

Yumi supported herself up with her other hand, her whole body faced towards Jonghyun, giving her the perfect opportunity to stare at him.

"Does it still hurt?" he asks.

Yumi wiggles her fingers a little bit, biting back a sudden gasp. "Y-yeah."

Jonghyun tsks as he shakes his head, his fringe slightly falling into his eyes. "You shouldn't have punched him. Look what happened."

Yumi blinks as she thinks hardly. "Well I couldn't just let him call me a e and be okay with it." she retorts.

"I would've done something." he mumbles, which was unheard by Yumi. "Done." he says as he puts the end of the bandage into the middle part.

Yumi looks at her hand still in his. "T-thanks." she bites her lip. "You're always saving me."

They both stare down at their hands, softly smiling as they both stay in place.

"You always need to be saved." Jonghyun replies with a smirk.

Yumi rolls her eyes as silence takes over again.

"But I don't regret ever saving you." he looks up. "And I never will."

 Onew always knew about Jonghyuns whereabouts, but considering he didn't even know if he showed up for school, he decided to give him a call first.

There was no answer.

After that, he decided to just search the school. He knew where to go. Upon reaching the tree, a smirk came onto his lips as he sees Yumi and Jonghyun holding hands. From another persons point of view, they were barely a centremetre apart, Yumi's legs on her side as she leans half her body on the tree, half on Jonghyun. Jonghyun had his legs stretched out and had him and Yumi's hand resting on his lap.

"And I never will." Onew hears as he walks closer to the scene. He didn't want to intrude on the lovey doveyness going around, but it was important. He cleared his throat, which caused Jonghyun to quickly let go of Yumi's hand, Yumi yelping at the sudden squeeze to her harmed hand.

She looks at their bodies touching, moving away quickly before looking back down the ground. Jonghyun looks up, the yelp by Yumi unnoticed.
