Jisoo's PoV

That night inside of the practice room I laid on the wooden floors starring up the lightbulbs as if they were stars. What am I going to do? Why did Jae-Hyun ask me out? Should I say yes or no? These thoughts flooded my mind when I heard the familiar chime of my phone telling me I had a text. I sat up and grabbed my phone unlocking it.

Suzy: Did you buy me a present?

A small smile crept onto my lips while responding.

Me: No. Why would I buy you a present?

Suzy: You're mean. It's Christmas tomorrow and you didn't even buy your best friend a gift? :(

Me: Oh shoot. I completely forgot! O.O

Suzy: Well being the good friend that I am I got you one and it should be delivered to you.

I stood up from where I was sitting and headed to the door and when I opened it sure enough there was a package for me sitting there. The gifts that I got went through the company so that no one knew where I lived. I picked it up and closed the door as quickly as possible because the cold wind started to create goosebumps on my arms. I then returned to where I had been sitting and texted back.

Me: Thanks for the present. I just got it, and don't worry I didn't forget about you. Yours should be there by tomorrow morning. >.<

Suzy: REALLY!?

Me: Yeah and the next time we meet I have something I need to tell you in person, but I have to go now.

Suzy: Okay BYE!

Me: Bye.

I exited out of the app to see my wallpaper starring back at me. It was a picture of me and Mark from about a year ago. At this point, Mark had grown taller to a 5"7'  and I had grown to a 5"5' from my 5"3' and that was as tall as I was going to get. that year was the year we had our first Christmas together and we decided to make it our tradition to buy each other a present every year. I took my gaze away from the phone to look at the present that I had wrapped so carefully sitting on the couch. I hope he likes it. I sighed as the clock crawled closer to 10.
