Today is Monday which means that its my birthday!

I had one class left to teach and then I was off work. I dont know how the students knew it was my birthday but I recieved lots of 'happy birthdays' and little candies, like lollipops or chocolate.

"Okay class" I said as the bell rang. "Make sure you finish reading this chapter. You'll be having a quiz on it tomorrow"

I went to pack my stuff as the kids left, most of them said they hoped I have a good rest of my birthday and I thanked them.

Once I was done, I happily skipped out the door and walked into the hallway.

I made it out the doors and headed to my car. I saw a piece of paper slipped inbetween the windshield wiper and the window.

I grabbed it and in typed writing, it read:

"Happy Birthday! (:"

Nothing more, nothing less.

"Aish, these boys are too much" I laughed out loud, getting inside my car.

I drove back to my house and as expected, it was empty.

I sighed.

I dragged my feet upstairs and walked inside my room.

I hopped in the shower and the hot water.

This was the first birthday I will spend without Soryong since we got together, causing me to sigh again.

"How many times are you going to sigh today?" I heard outside the bathroom door and I screamed.

I shut off the water and wrapped myself in a towel.

"WHO ARE YOU!?" I yelled, leaning against the door trying to hear more noises.

"Dont be scared sweetie, its just me" I knew that voice.

"JINWOO!?" I opened the door and he was sitting on my bed.

I put my hand over my chest and took in a breath.

"What the hell, you scared me" I yelled at him.
"Good. How many times do we have to tell you to lock your door. Especially since Soryong's not here" He scolded.

I rolled my eyes.

"Anyways. Why are you here?" I changed the subject.

"I am here to the birthday girl to her destination" He smiled.

"Oh, well let me change first" I said, shooing him out the room.

I closed the door and pouted.

"I didnt even finish my shower" I mumbled.

I dried off and put on my dress. 

Thanks to Mino, I was finally able to find some shoes that went well with my dress.

"Are you don-"

"Im coming, jeez" I cut him off.

I was trying not to fall down the stairs as I walked.

He frowned when he saw me.

"What? Do you I look horrible?" I turned around.

"N-No no you look amazing" He turned me around.

"Come on" He pulled me out the house.

I sat down in the car.

"What, no blindfold?" I acted suprised, since everyone likes to blindfold me whenever they take me somewhere.

Jinwoo laughed. "No, no blindfold today"

He started the car and began to drive.

We pulled into a parking lot surrounded by trees.

"Follow me" He said, taking my hand and walking me towards a bridge.

"Ok, my part here is done" He said, letting go of my hand.

"Wait, what?" I looked at him.

"Just go across the bridge and follow the instructions" He pointed to the other side of the bridge.

"Uhh..okay" I said, nervous as to what was going on.

He gave me hug and said 'happy birthday!'. He walked away, leaving me alone to cross this bridge. With most difficulty may I add.

When I finally crossed, there was a note on the tree that was on my right side.

"I guess these are the instructions" I said outloud.

I grabbed the paper.

"Make a left and you'll find me by the fountain..please dont get lost" It read.

I laughed. 

Whoever wrote this knew me well.

I made a left and I walked along the path. Thank god, I didnt want to mess up my shoes.

I walked until I made it under the tunnel. I searched for the so-called-fountain im supposed to be meeting my mystery person at.

I walked a few more steps until I found the fountain. It was located inside another park. I noticed someone sitting on the edge, their back facing me so I couldnt see who it was.

I slowly walked around the fountain, peeking at who it could be.

The person heard my footsteps and stood up looking at me.

"Seunghoon?" I said.

"Yay, you didnt get lost" He smiled.

I went and hugged him.

"What kind of birthday suprise is this?"  I said, after our hug.

"One you'll never forget' He said, taking my hand and walking me to the next destination.

"How many more people am I going to be looking for today?" 

"Hmm, just a few more" He said.

We continued walking until we were next to a lamp post.

"Ok, this is where I leave you" He frowned. 

"Here" He handed me a piece of paper from his pocket.

"I'll see you later" He hugged me and walked away.

I opened the paper and it read:

"Im sure youre curious to where I am and who you'll meet. Look not to far and and im sure you'll sea"

I stared at the note.

"Only Mino would spell like that" I said outloud. And then I looked at the note again.

"There isnt a ocean around here" I said, looking around.

I continued walking but I couldnt find anything invoving water.

A bunch of kids ran past me, stopping me in my tracks almost causing me to fall.

"Im so sorry" A woman, im assuming is their mother, said to me.

"Kids slow down. I dont want you to fall into the lake!" She yelled after her children.

Lake? I thought.

I guess i'll follow them. I followed close behind the woman.

I eventually came across the lake that the woman mentioned.

I looked around to see if I could recognized anybody.

I thought that I saw Soryong and I walked closer and realized it wasnt him so I hurried away before the person thought I was a creep.

I sighed and continued looking around.

Eventually, I came across a familiar face.

"You know I was watching you the whole time?" Mino said.

"And you didnt help me?" I asked, hitting his shoulder.

"No its funny watching you. Especially when you went up to that random guy" He laughed.

I rolled my eyes. 

"Just take me where you need to take me, Jeez" I linked arms with him as we walked.

"Im curious to know whats at the end of this" I said.

"Im curious to see how this ends" He said as we were walking.

My feet were starting to hurt from all this walking.

"If you knew this would happen, why did you choose these shoes?" I glared at him.

He sighed and bent down infront of me.

"Come on, no butts. Lets go" He said.

I obeyed and hopped on his back.

"Did you shave your legs, why are they stabbing my arms?" He joked.

"Honestly no, so shh" I hit his chest.

"Why did you not shave if you were wearing a dress?" 

"Jinwoo scared me and I didnt have time to shave, you cant even tell" I said, lifting up my legs, with difficulty.

"Stop it! Youre heavy already" He tried to push my legs back down.

I gasped.

"Fine put me down" I demanded.

"Whatever, were here anyway" He said, putting me down.

"So, your next destination is just around that corner okay? Trust me youre almost done" He smiled.

"Okay. Thank you" I gave him and hug and was about to walk away.

"Wait! I forgot to give this to you" He said. He reached into his pocket and began to put something around my neck.

"What is this for?" I asked.

"No questions, just go" He shoo'ed me off.

"Ok, im going" I laughed and walked to the direction Mino pointed to.

I turned the corner and met a garden.

This time the next person was easier to find, since he was standing under the arch.

"Why did I know that you were next?" I said walking up to give him a hug.

"Mino has a great choice in shoes" He said, looking at my whole outfit.

I laughed.

We began walking.

"Oh, Taehyun. How was your date with your friend?" I asked.

"One. It wasnt a date. And two. Today isnt about me, its about you birthday girl" he said.

He sighed.

"Unfortunately, this is how far I take you" He frowned. "But I do have this for you"

He reached into his pocket and turned me around.

He unhooked the necklace and then hooked it back, as something slide across the chain.

"Just walk a few more steps" He said.

"Thank you" I hugged him and kept walking.

Sure enough I walked a few more steps and saw my last destination.

"Hello" He smiled as he saw me walking towards him.

"You guys are doing too much" I said, hugging him.

"No you deserve it" He handed me a rose.

"For you" He smiled.

"Awh, thank you Seungyoon" I took the rose from his hand.

"Lets go were almost there" He said.

We walked though a tunnel and ended up at a pagoda.

"Now go wait in there and your suprise will begin in a minute" He said.

"Wait? There's more?" I asked. "I thought all this was the suprise"

"Just go and wait" He gently pushed me inside.

I sat down on one of the chairs inside and saw a piece of paper on the table.

It read:

Dear Aaliah, 

Suprised to be hearing from me, arent you? Now what crazy nonsense were you saying about me moving on. You and I both know that I cant stand Jennifer, she wouldnt leave me alone and you know im too nice to say no. Anyways, Happy Birthday! (: I hope you enjoyed your little travel here. This is the place I was going to take you to when I wanted to propose to you, the day of the accident. Yes, way back then I knew you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. You were right, finding out in those circumstances wasnt how I pictured it, but I wasnt picturing to hear that news at all. I wanted to take time and think about this whole thing and I took more time then I needed and lead you to think what we had was over and I apologize for that. I shouldnt have left you alone in our house for so long, I should have told you that I forgave you, that I loved you, that I didnt care if you had some sort of feelings for him. Everyday that I spent without you, actually, since the day I met you, I knew that you are a special person in my life. I feel incomplete without you. You have been all the support and guidance when I needed you. I feel stronger when you are around and confident that I can look straight into the world. I sometimes get scared thinking what I would have done without you. I can’t explain how much I love you, so im here to tell you that I am not leaving you, nor was I ever over this relationship. I hope we can overlook all the past misunderstandings & try to build a stronger relationship that lasts forever.

I put down the piece of paper and looked around.

"Where are you?" I said quietly and frowned.

I heard someone clear their throat and I turned around.

Soryong was walking towards me and I ran up to him, embracing him in a hug.

"Does this mean im forgiven?" He laughed as he hugged back.

"You idiot, I was never mad" I smiled at him.

I hugged him again.

"Your hair" I whispered, as I ran my fingers through them.

"I know you loved it when I was blonde" He smiled and kissed me on the lips.

When we broke apart, I hit him on the chest but not hard enough to hurt him.

"What took you so long, you were scaring me" I said.

"Im sorry baby" He kissed me again.

"Lets go for a walk" He said.

"Carry me. My feet hurt from all this walking" I complained.

He bent down and waited for me to climb on his back.

"Awh, thank you So" I tried to kiss his cheek but it ended up landing behind his ear.

"Did you-" 
"No baby I didnt shave my legs" I cut him off.

*A Month Later*

Soryong and I were leaving a resturant talking about our wedding that we started to plan again.

I looked up and saw famililar faces.

"Oh hey!" I said, looking at Rome and Kali.

I havent seen them since the day we told them the truth.

"Omg, hey" Rome seemed really shocked to see us together. 

"I see you guys are still together" I smiled at them.

"Yes, and I would like to apologize for hitting you the last time we spoke" Kali said.

"Its okay, its in the past" I told her.

"Im glad to see that you guys are still together as well" Rome said.

"Yeah" I looked up at Soryong and smiled.

"Um, would you guys like to come to our wedding?" Soryong said.

Kali gasped.

"You guys are engaged too?" She smiled.

I showed her my ring and she showed me hers.

"Of course we'd love to go" Rome said.

"I'll mail you a real invitation when we finish them then..oh and Bobby" I said.

"Same here" He nodded.

"Okay, well we'll see you around" I waved.

"Later" They both said.

It was awkward seeing them again but im glad were all where were supposed to be.

Im not sure if Rome and I will become as good as friends again as we once were but im sure we can try.

Im just glad that I have Soryong back in my life and never will I let him go.
