THE FOLLOWING IS A TRUE STORY

Jessicanly bolted out of her room sweat beaded on her forehead as she balanced a mountain of books, folders and her precious gem she simple called a phone (a name she found extremely unfitting for such a valuable object).

“Come on we are going to be late!” Her dad screamed as he rushed out the door.

Jessicanly was almost to the door. She sighed in relief as she almost crossed the threshold when an ear piercing crash seemed to echo through the entire house.

Jessicanly froze as her life flashed before her eyes.

Her gem lay face down on the floor. She immediately threw the books and folders across the room as she picked up her phone praying for its safety.

Her eyes welled up as she laid eyes on the endless webs of cracks on the gem’s screen. She turned it on and sighed as it booted up. She swiped her finger along the screen and a cry escape .

The touch screen didn’t work.

My pictures…… my music…..my contacts…….my instagram…….my Whatsapp….” Her eyes widened. “MY ASIANFANFICS STORIES!!!!!”

All of her storylines, dialogues and ideas were on the phone. She shuddered at the fact that her horrible memory wouldn’t make up for this disaster.

She wouldn’t be able to remember the golden storylines she wrote for her stories that were all stored on her phone.

A lone tear flowed down her cheek as the screams of her father became a mere muffled
