Myungsoo heaved a deep sigh, feeling tension tighening the muscles in his neck. Valentines Day was supposed to be a joyous time filled with love, but to him it was just another reminder that he was alone and hopeless. The tall young man had everything figured out with his freelance photography business getting off the ground and beginning to really gain attention. Now all he needed was the perfect person to share everything with.

That had been Sunggyu's goal at the party he had just escaped. Those weren't the right people for him and he knew it. Now he was headed home, the one place he would be completely alone. Solitude.

Rubbing his sore neck, he glanced over to see a tall, thin young man staring at the smoke billowing out from under the hood of his car. Frowning, Myungsoo glanced at him as he passed. Someone else would stop and help him...or just take advantage of him. Laughing at the irony of the situation, Myungsoo pulled over and turned around. So much for solitude! Parking behind the nice red car, his heart caught in his throat when he glanced over at the man and noticed him smiling. He was breathtaking, even covered in black grease. Shaking his head, Myungsoo stepped out of his own black car and began walking over to the other man.

"Wow, you've got quite the smoker there. Is it just overheating, or is there something else going on?" Myungsoo wanted to smack himself for not introducing himself first. Shaking his head, he held out his hand. "I'm Myungsoo."

The man laughed, the sharp sound coming out just as beautiful as Myungsoo would have imagined from him. Wiping his hands on his dirty brown slacks, the man shook his hand firmly. "Sungjong. Thank you for stopping, Myungsoo. I honestly don't know the first thing about cars. If I could get a ride to a parts store, we...I...could maybe figure it out." He flashed a smile at Myungsoo. "I'll pay you for it."

Myungsoo waved him off, shaking his head again. "Don't worry about it. We'll figure it out. Either that, or I'll help you get it to a mechanic." He grinned at Sungjong, trying to reassure the worried man. "Here. Grab your keys and hop in!"

"Thank you, Myungsoo. This is very nice of you," Sungjong replied quietly as he slid into the passenger seat.

Heading over to the parts store, they explained the situation. One of the employees was nice enough to drive his own car over and look at Sungjong's car. In the end, however, it had too many issues to fix there and had to be towed to a mechanic's shop and would have to stay for a few days, at the very least.

Since it was getting late, Myungsoo offered to give him a ride home, an event he was thankful for every day. Sungjong had in

Chapter 13: Well this was certainly different. I always do enjoy seeing Hakyeon in a more commanding role at times. haha And I thought the last paragraph was a very lovely one of reflection for him. It very much reveals how people in general can be and how finding someone worth being with often changes things for them.

I was a little annoyed with Hakyeon for basically stealing Taekwoon like that, but it did work out in the end. And they eventually became happy, though I'd imagine the latter was pretty upset with Hakyeon initially. For the first few days/weeks at least. lol What was the comment of Hakyeon saying that Taekwoon looked familiar? Was that an excuse to get close to him or did he really think he was familiar to someone? lol

Intriguing story overall too. I'm becoming more a fan of supernatural things (so long as they're not Twilight related heh) and this was a pleasant one to check out. *nods* Good job.

Chapter 12: Another very interesting story line and concept. I was confused about the paradise aspect when you mentioned the Aletrons were their strongest enemies, but if they knew they had enemies, why wouldn't they have some sort of defense or whatnot? Other than that, I do enjoy a good sci-fi read. I thought it was interesting that you built in some of the restrictions you did (no same pairs!) but I suppose that is part of what made their relationship so special in the end.

I'm having a hard time envisioning how Taehyun's plan was able to end everything but I am glad it worked. Whatever he did. Their relationship was also quite believable and incredibly cute. Growing up as friends to becoming something more over time. haha How old were they when they were tested? Just curious. But this was another interesting take on your prompt. I have to look a little harder to see the connections but they're there. ;)

Good job and keep up the good work.
